I love them ❤ They're so graceful too, no bitterness despite getting so few points (honestly, my theory is the votes from the heavy music loving demographic just all went to Finland because people knew they had a chance of winning. Because I honestly don't think that LOTL or Voyager did as bad as you might expect looking at the points)
How could anyone _not_ love them? Like sure, there are different tastes in music... but as *_people,_* these guys are amazing. They're so humble and kind & a huge inspiration to me to always be authentic 🖤
I 100% agree with their comments about the jury vote, the point system and the big five. At this point I think being in the big five only hurts your chances of getting a good result.
Love the Chaozine interviews and Lord of the Lost! And about the backing tracks: A full playback show is obviously disappointing but i honestly couldn’t care less if there are one or two guitar players or keyboarders on stage or not. I think Powerwolf does not have a bass player on stage but their live shows are still great. So I side with Pi in saying: ”Do you want to listen to the full production or not?”. As long as the main vocals are live and the band manages to convey the live feeling I am happy.
Always a bliss to listen to their interviews. From day one after Eurovision all I have been thinking was what are they going to do next and I was certain it's gonna be something completely different, knowing them, so I am glad to see I wasn't wrong!
I really like the old Stuff from Iron Maiden, the Seventh Son of the Seventh Son, but persons like Valor from Christian Death had very much more influenced me, and I must say, Chris, Pi, you are great, so much great, I love Lord of the Lost, and I thought a lot about the Losts, the lost people, the lost magic before I met you on youtube, thank YOU alot
Bruce also knows that there are topics that some areas where you can speak on these topics and then there are other areas where you are best not to speak on that topic. You have to pick and choose the right place and time. Younger bands don't seem to realize this and that is why as a up and coming band it is best to avoid certain topics until you are so large and have such a following that you learn when and where is the right time to speak on any given topic. Lord of the Lost is still new so learn from the masters of the industry. Ghost learned this and once Lord of the Lost learns this then the sky is the limit. Pick and choose your battles, you don't have to win every battle to win the war.
It’s ok you can say you don’t trust the jury😂 none of us do, who even are these people! I had no respect for the jury vote since I saw the uk members about a decade ago - two of them had singular music experience (pop) and one of those two got their job for being married to the other one 🥴🥴🥴
Lord of the lost are doing a big favour for metal. They are promoting it to people in an updated package. Old school metalheads are a strange breed however, being one myself. We like things to be kept pure, non-mainstream. But we forget normies have zero interest in it when it's too raw.
From a country that jury put last every year because of politics 🇮🇱 i stopped watching Eurovision because of that. If the jury were to vote in the semi-final Noa that she is a big voice have not being in the final.
