I worked at a local mom and pop video store around this same time (1998-2002) and man those posters, boxes, standees, and the titles at the time are bringing back the memories. And the closing process. Did plenty of those with the money bags, etc. There were also the backrooms full of junk like this one haha. I appreciate those moments now. Whew!
This was the last good years for video stores. After 2000 was never really the same with DVDs becoming popular . I will always miss going to the video store on a Friday and Saturday night that was a big part of my childhood renting movies and video games. When times were simpler
