The headlamps on this car where never offered on US models. In fact, even for the rest of the world, these Bosch headlamps were standard on the 94 year onward 164 for the remainder of the world. On the 91 -93 years offerings the front fender did not sit flush against the parking lamp (turn signal) part of the Bosch headlamp unit. Rather the stock lens was a large rectangular unit (much like those found on period Volvos) with no metal body color filler plate below them (as is found on this car)..They were standard halogen bulb units....no projector beams in the US. I know because I own a totally mint 1991 164 S (Red with black interior) that is PERFECT....
Found your video on Bluesky and watched it on a single breath. So enjoyable to have in-depth review of a old car which is rarity these days, say alone this beautiful Alfa! I wish my car will be reviewed such way one day. Thank you very much for this video from another Alfa owner 🤌🏻
Beautiful design and interior
The beautifully violin-playing Busso, which sounds more like a tractor here, should be tuned again.
with love :-)TSC #4ALLE
