Acceleration is not a measurement for such big vehicle. It is torque.
Metro/vande Bharat has small motors in all bogies while a train has one big motor in front that generates torque equal to all small motors and even greater infact!
Wap5 and wap 7 engine.
The speed is increased in steps through current flow control in a power limit circuit hence acceleration cannot be used to describe these trains.
The trains are superior to rail motor/vande bharat!
