Hay😂
The controls felt weird. It kind of had this stiff feeling to it, while Portal 2 was more fluid and loose.
That's because it's being played on a controller.
@@JJungleJapesoni don’t think that’s what it is, i wonder if it’s something about the source engine being used here, but there’s very little difference from Half Life 2, and it was their first attempt at a puzzle game made by a small team. Then they later on made a lot of changes in Portal 2, had a bigger team, and little things it derives from Half Life are gone, like even the holding animation is it’s own thing in Portal 2.
Portal - Test Games
I played this game on my Xbox 360
I legit have never heard of this portal game :0 what is it? Where does it fall canonically? Is there any new things and secrets and story? Valveiverse is my favorite lore!
*for anyone who knows :D thanks!
it appears to be the xbox version of the original portal! I'm guessing "still alive" was to differentiate it from the PC version
It is the xbox live arcade exclusion of portal
It has some new levels about 2-3 new levels and 9 more achievements than the pc version
@@lightcaptianguy7570 thanks for the info! Now i might have to find it and play it myself haha
@@Darkopolypse98 you can use xenia emulator
But it needs a little beefy pc
Nice
I just played portal for the first time and finish the game for 2 hours and an halve but I didn’t even remember the levels at all like some of them I don’t remember, some of them I do but other levels doesn’t feel like I remember because I done something very differently. But beating the last one was complex for first few minutes but got hang of it and mostly destroyed her
Edit: oh wait this is advance level, I don’t know if I playing the original portal or stills alive
What is the diference betwen portal still alive and from The Orange Box?
The orange box version has 4 extra games. Slightly different loading screen and menu screen. Different achievements, and does not have the challange maps.
@@Viestkungs cool... Thank you
@@Viestkungsthe challenge maps part isn’t true, i got the Challenge Maps and i’m playing Portal on the Orange Box’s Xbox 360 port.
@@tarheelpro87 Oops yeah. I think I meant the Still Alive challange maps that got ported from a pc mod. The original challange maps are in both versions.
@@Viestkungs Ohh, cause i was surprised too. When i finished it i wasn’t expecting to get challenge maps, i’d just assumed it was exclusive to Still Alive.
nintendo switch version of portal got still alive courses so now they arent xbox exclusive only!
Nintendo switches have companion cube portal 2 and portal 1
