Love this laptop. Had mine for about 2 months now. The fans do get a bit loud, but for me personally I don’t mind it at all. Runs every game I’ve thrown at it so far.
Loving these high quailty reviews/unboxing videos. Ur style of commentary is a pleasure to watch. Saw one of these instores today and id say its the closest to the Razer Blade in terms of looking super stealth and proffesional (great rigid aluminium build quailty too). This was actually my third preference when i was tossing up between the Triton 500 and Razer Blade 15, so i was pretty close to purchasing one if it werent for two little dealbreakers for me: the fact that the fans are always spinning, even when not playing games; and also the tacky plastic strip they placed on the wrist rest area really compromised the whole "premium feel" for me. These are very personal nit picky things for me admittedly, so otherwise, this is a fantastic choice. Looking forward to the full review 👍
i recently got the i1-10750h RTX 3060 240 hz variant of this laptop and i wanna say that i am loving it so far! i do productivity work and gaming sessions on it and both are a breeze. just wanted to note that the fan noise was something that i didn't really like either especially when i bring it to school and have study sessions in quiet zones. tho i was able to turn it off using dragon center. i really enjoyed this review :) i always love seeing people talk about this beast of a thin machine lol
I had this laptop and there was a lot to like about, but decided to return it and went with the Legion 7i...never looked back. Looking forward to this review!
I have returned that also. Kinda weird that lenovo made that laptop without the intel GPU. So no Optimus. Battery only last 2 hour(windows calculation). Its was i7(8cores) + RTX 2080 super mq. When startup, the RGB light always shows the rainbow patern. The RGB settings are more difficult to understand than msi. They made this model so people can use it for study or work. But not match the needs. Becareful i saw someone with broken hinge after 10 days. How about your unit?.

@@CETechTips thank you so much for your reply. But i dont get how MSI cant think of that and put a better price for the performance it gives.dont they test the cooling too?
I just got this on sale at best buy for $300 off. (Same cpu/gpu just with 240hz (gs66 stealth SF)) So $1,500 before taxes. I really like everything so far except for the fact that I had software issues when starting up. Dragon center kept buffering saying "SDK Initializing" which I read online other people were having the same problem. So I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Then when I went to update windows it kept giving me errors saying it wasn't able to. Had to restart multiple times and tinker with it for it to update. I'm wondering if I should go return it and try a different one, or just save my money and get a laptop with a 30 series.. I really don't want to have any reliability issues later down the road. But then I'm also worried about problems with these first gen 30 series laptops... Other than that this laptop is really nice and it's pretty damn fast. Compared to my last shitty laptop.
I had in totaal 2 units and return both of them. First unit return within 5 days. Something wrong with the gpu fans when idle. In quiet room i can hear ratteling noise. Second unit returned after 4 month. Alots of problem with the rgb keyboard. Sometime the light does not light anymore until i reset the bios. After 4 month suddenly 1 key has broken green light. The case is not sturdy as you think. If you using the laptop alot on your lap, it will bend a little bit. When using Firefox and watching youtube. Frequently i got shaking webpage. A little bit but annoying. Something wrong with the touchpad. I saw some picture with broken hinge. So iam afraid that will happen to me. The battery life is not as great as you think.
@@CETechTips No. They tried to fix it. They sended to specialists. But it takes to long. Probably no parts available. So I can chose another laptop or my money back. I tried Lenovo legion 7i after that. But it's not for me. Also returned it. They gave me full refund.
Fan noise is terriable. especially the left one(CPU).when i bought that it was turning with 2000 RPM. but after MSI changed the default fan speed now its turning minimum 2700 rpm even in 40°C and if you are in the quite room its being sooo annoying. i think you realized that
