i swear hu tao's backstory really is like a copy-paste of my life. I'm 13 and a week ago i lost my dearest grandpa, he was the last one i had left (my grandma passed away when i was 8 and the other two before i was born), and i'd give away everything just to meet him one more time. I can understand well the pain she went through and how hard it is to keep smiling and being happy after such a big loss. I'd like to hug her so bad, and let her know i'm by her side, but this will never happen :(
to be honest, I don't think your grandfather would've wanted this, I'm sure he'd be dying in up there to meet you too, don't worry, cause he's waiting patiently and wanting you to move on till you can finally meet him once more, so fulfill his wish for you and become a person you want to be.Like I have a wish of being a streamer but I don't know if I can do it but I will try. Her backstory is very similar to my life. I lost my Grandfather when I was 13 years old, at the worst times possible. When my dad divorced, I spent a lot of time with him, he gave me courage from my depression to move on. He was basically all I had. He passed on too early for his age, when I was just 13. It was just too early... This edit is just heart warming to watch, it gets me teared up. I'd do anything to see him one last time, I can feel her. I'm glad she's my first five star..

Hu Tao is my kin and well I’m 14 and I lost my grandpa 7 months ago on July 22. He was my comfort person my escape from being alone and the one listening to my problems. I had to plan the whole funeral with my mom and grandma and I had to cheer everyone up so pretending to be happy was and is a regular thing for me. People tend to misunderstand me that I’m heartless because I wasn’t looking sad. Lowkey did they know at the funeral I started crying after centuries. I really love her and I’m also saving for her bcs I just see myself in her and I need her. But it’s kinda weird how much we are alike we even look similar so ya I really hope to get her.

I’m watching this the day before the death anniversary of my grandpa. Tomorrow, my family will all come together and perform shraadh and homa (we’re Hindu) did you know, in Hinduism, Homa means fire ritual? It’s a way of offering things to the gods by use of fire. That’s why it’s called the Staff of Homa. If you read it’s lore, you can see that this fits perfectly. Just thought I’d share this interesting little fact. And shraadh is a ritual to pay homage and express gratitude to ancestors and dead family members/parents. in this case my dad’s dad. A day of remembrance. I thought of Hu Tao with my last surviving brain cell, and thought it’d be fitting to watch a Hu Tao backstory video to get in the vibes of remembrance. I never knew my grandpa that well, he died when I was 7 from lung cancer. But I know he was a great guy thanks to what my dad, his brothers (or my uncles) and grandmother told me about him. So I’ll try my best to do justice to this ritual, like Hu Tao had to do.
