  • I decided to bite the bullet and replace my EL backlight display to a LCD display
    It seems that I had already configured LCD display and therefore didn't need the amended EPROM that seems to be needed with OLED displays. Thanks for the commenter who highlighted this.
    I include the EPROM burning at the end just for reference.
    ⚠️ Please note that this is just my experience and not a step by step guide

    Hi, the tweaked EPROM is for an OLED not an LCD which is what you fitted 🙂

    2:34 does the cable have to be soldered to the display or is it a connection? I didn't see how you put the cable onto it.

    hey man just curiosity, did u remove inverter TI4538 or just let it there?

      hi I just left it on board and tucked the white and black wires away.

      yes they are nice, still a good price though
