Horrible car. It’s giving 2014 vibes. I’m surprised when Renault are making beautiful cars like the Scenic ETech which has amazing technology too

danas je to skoro pa standard kod SUV vozila,jako malo mjesta za noge na stražnjoj klupi,odnosno svi viši od 180cm će imati problem
The new taillights look amazing, especially how it gives contrast to the white paint and dark gray rims. I did not like the taillight upgrade on the Clio, as it reminds me of those cheaply tuned old Peugeot 206 with similar looking transparent taillights. I think they made the taillight change look tasteful and more appealing for the Arkana. 21:45 is where you can see it with the lights off, I like it! To me the change to the front grill is kind of meh...looks like a medieval chainmail if you look at it from a distance.
Of course they didn't bother to upgrade the brake and signaling by implementing LEDs (full LED). Over 30K car and has STOP with filament bulbs... 😠😡 I can't understand their decision. Shame because it's an extremely beautiful car.

Agreed. Every car should now incorporate LEDs throughout. Especially Hybrids, the LEDs use less power!
Except from the taillights, I don't really like the upgraded new Arkana Alpine.
There's also not much 'updated'.
They went from RS line to Alpine and did some color changes.
I have the Arkana RS line (Flame Red with colorpack) and I really like that one because of it's sports-like-looking interior.
Ofcourse I love the exterior as well.
But the new grill doesn't speak to me and the headlights are still the same.
The fake carbon, the red lining on the interior and seats... that's what I really like when sitting in my car.
It feels more sporty then the new Arkana with the white, red and blue lines.
This ofcourse is personal taste.
Also... in Belgium, you can now only buy the E-Tech Hybrid 145.
Lucky for me I was able to get the 160hp mild Hybrid version with the 1.3 Turbo petrol engine before Renault quit selling these.
I'm wondering what else they upgraded in the 'new' Arkana?
So far, I think everything is the same when it comes to technology and options.
Anyway ... I'm really happy with my Arkana RS Line and I hope to drive that car for many years to come 😁
But maybe I will upgrade the taillights to the new, more transparant ones. (if that's even possible)

What BHP is yours?
@@moncheeka I don't know exactly what BHP means.
I googled it, but all I could find is that I have a 1333 cm3 Cilinder, Max. Kw/Hp 116/160 @ 5500 rpm and Max. torc is 270 Nm @ 1750 rpm.
It's a turbo charged petrol engine with frontwheel drive and automatic Dualclutch 7 gear gearbox.
@FreddyMcLennon BHP is what we measure power by in the UK. I guess Europe and Rest of the World is Kw/Hp

Wished for more interior differentiation between the old and facelifted model, however nice improvement.
Pre-facelift looks nicer inside. We viewed an Alpine in the UK this past weekend, brand new, and the gear stick is different? We've ordered one anyway for delivery in April so i guess we'll see what arrives?! Also, we were told Renault have stopped adding the self parking button, it wasn't even a possibility for us to add it. Is this correct?
We'd have preferred an Austral, just didn't want to stretch to the payments for one
IDK many options for some reason aren’t available in UK in Renault and some other brands.
most automotive oriented shows on UA-cam they all present the e-tech engine option of the Arkana combined with the RS or Esprit Alpine package...the combination that makes no sense...the hybrid version is the slowest....yet they put the sport esthetics on it all the time.
They don’t make the RS anymore.
This took over from it.
That's why I am so happy and lucky I got the 160Hp RS line mild hybrid version, before they completely went Full Hybrid.
Because that engine has power ...
And some people say that the difference is not that noticable between the 160 mild Hybrid and the 145 E-tech...

Just got one of these brand new last week and living in the UK my only complaint is why on earth does it not have a rear window wiper ????????????
Utter madness!!!!!!!!
I don't really mis the rear wiper (coming from a Dacia Duster which had one)
But I use Rain-X on the windows and mirrors and that helps.
It's not a miracle product, but when driving, the wind helps blowing the rain droplets of the rear and side windows.
Driving on the freeway with higher speed... the rain blows off like it's not even raining 😁
For me the only drawback is, when opening the trunk when it's raining or the car is wet,
the water drops a little bit into the trunk.
But everything else? I really like about that car. 😋

Does it finally have LED blinking lights and LED break lights in the rear ?

Los paneles de las puertas de atrás llevan luces leds como los delanteros...o no se les ha ocurrido iluminar la parte de atrás....
I can think of no sensible reason for the missing rear wiper.
no Head up Display?
I love the styling and high ground clearance of the car but the range of engines is disappointing.
