Not Beskar probably a Legends lore item called "Cortosis" used by Pre-Sith to fight jedi when they had no access to their own lightsabers. this material could block but also disrupt a lightsaber. First shows up in Old 90's Darkhorse Star Wars Comic books. Apparently highly toxic so it quickly went out of style.

I like your reactions, but it’s sort of ridiculous how much you cover what’s showing. It’s next to impossible to know what you’re looking at. I mean, considering how short your reactions are which are fine because you’re just getting the highlights you don’t need to cover that much of the screen. Other reaction people are showing way more and way more time.

Forgive my ignorance but shouldn't we be able to see what your reacting to, it's just a bit difficult with 90% of the screen covered, to be honest you might as well just have it off?

I'm guessing the Cortosis blocked/absorbed the stun beam as well. Manny Jacinto is great as the Sith.

Cortosis was brought into canon with the novel A NEW DAWN (2014) and first shown in the canon video game UPRISING (2015).
Yeah, I caught on later when I realized it was shorting out all the sabers, pretty cool to see it make a comeback in live action though!!

I did! So much speculation on that musics choice online, I can’t wait to see how Qimir’s story turns out! Instant iconic SW villain for me!!
