I think I paid £11.50 for pint of IPA and a bottle of alcohol free Moretti. Unsure what the split was but I’d usually expect to pay £5-6 minimum for a pint of IPA these days

But that bridge spells the end of any attempts to restart ship building on the Wear, the bridge will be too low to allow hulls to pass under it, so the council has finally killed shipbuilding on the Wear. Once the biggest shipbuilding river in the world
Would recommend booking for the restaurants if you’re wanting to sit in, but I imagine there’ll also be limited capacity for walk ins. No need to book for the bars, live music etc though and you’ll be able to grab a slice of pizza or a donut without the need to book whilst having a drink🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@ganforbaitlike Dray horses are massive heavy horses specially bred to haul heavy loads and used by Vaux breweries for years, ,a pony is a small horse no taller than 14 hands at the shoulder would be uncappable of pulling such a load what the pony was bred for was working underground in Monkwearmouth Colliery Sunderland's largest coal mine.

No it’s a high bridge the size of the Wearmouth bridge so it wouldn’t affect it

Pit pony has nothing to do with dray horses, pit ponies worked underground in the coal mine along side the miners.
