I like this pastor. He is gentle, kind, humble. He does not raise his voice like some pastor do that stresses me out. I feel happy, relaxed listening to him. I feel like I am coming home.

Everyone has various styles. Over in the book of Revelations Jesus is a pretty loud guy. The message is in Truth and not in Tone!
”And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.“
      ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Thank you Pastor Paul for your great teaching. Lesson learned today that opening the gates to Jesus when I pray is totally acceptable. And I also know that before I even say a word He already knows. I recon that's where our relationship is. Blessings Pastor Paul to you and your loved one's.

Dear Pastor Paul I have read and heard this section of John many times but after listening to the sermon and especially the part about Jesus turning the water into wine, I was immediately filled with awe and gratitude towards Jesus. He is so beyond my comprehension and yet so close to my heart. He is so faithful and trustworthy, we are blessed to be in this relationship with Him. I pray that I would honour and Glorify Jesus with my body. I am not my own. 😊

I just found your channel. I already have my John 2 message and I’ve been listening to people just to make sure I’m going in the right direction. Your message was the only one that related the water purification (law and tradition) to the new wine of the new covenant. With those stone pots they were seeking after some level of purification that couldn’t be achieved through the law. The law could only cleanse the outside of the cup, but the wine of the new covenant has better promises and with the Holy Spirit we can finally walk in His judgements and statutes and have God cleanse our heart too. God bless you. Looking forward to listening to your catalog of sermons.

I also think why He did this particular miracle is because His mom asked. Not directly but she did imply and as you said after this time He listened to our Father. Up to this point He was her Son and they loved each other and what a perfect way to start His ministry and go do what He came for then do this miracle or sign. I think Mary knew the life she had with Him was ending and that night after the wedding was over as she lay in bed the bitter sweet feeling that He was going away the feelings flooding her had to bring tears of joy and sadness. He is a God of love and compassion and was responding not just as God but the earthly Son and saying I love you mom.

I could help but think while I listened to this teaching that when Jesus said “my hour has not come” that he was just reminding her that his ministry was just starting so he did it anyway to be his first sign but also honor his Mother?

If that was Jesus's first miracle, how did Mary know he could perform that, or any other miracle? Seems like she would have had to have seen him perform miracles before? 🤔

There is a little correction his mother brothers and sisters were a hindrance because of their and belief and that is why Jesus could not perform miracles when they were around
Secondly I believe that mother Mary's daughter was getting married to a pharisee and that is why they were following rituals cleansing of hands and legs and that is why Jesus was there with his disciples disciples he must have known that the food or the wine would run short
