  • Hey everyone! I just wanted to create this video in case you feel like supporting the channel. I'm not asking you to join my Patreon or buy my prints, but I do not profit much off of making my videos - you might imagine running a channel with 150,000 subscribers is lucrative but it really isn't, and I don't even make enough money from ad revenue to make my rent, so supporting me directly will definitely help me make UA-cam more of a job that I can spend more time on than a hobby that I can only work on during my free time. Thank you all for watching the video and a special thanks to those who are subscribed to my channel, it means a lot and directly helps the channel!

    If you would like to support me monetarily, there are a number of ways you can do so!
    First, check out my Patreon! Patreon is a great way to support me directly for the photography videos I produce. Ad evenue pays only pennies, so Patreon donations are extremely appreciated and crucial for the survival of this channel. If you do not wish to donate on Patreon, you can donate directly through PayPal or through BuyMeACoffee, which is a new platform I just set up.
    BuyMeACoffee is not only for my UA-cam Channel, but for my regular photography as well, and you can download HD wallpapers and member-only content like editing walkthroughs, photography tutorials, e-books, lectures, and guides. I’m really excited about this platform and encourage you to give it a look! There are many different ways to donate, including one-time $5 donations (about the price of a coffee!).
    If you would like to support my normal photography, then check out my print store, linked below! I am a passionate landscape and astro photographer and the profits go directly back into funding my adventures.
    Make sure to visit out my TeeSpring merch store! I have a wide range of Apalapse-themed designs that you can wear around! If you enjoy the flat design-style animation that is a staple of my channel, then you’ll love the designs on my store. Check it out!

      I actually already have some merch on my Teespring! I have to get some more designs in there but if you want to buy a shirt or hoodie or something the link should be in the description.

    I have a question since I'm a photographer too. Do you work/make decent money with your photography or do you have another source of income?

    • @Apalapse
      @Apalapse  2 роки тому +2

      I have been able to make decent money this summer doing photography, but I have other sources of income since I don't do it full time. I also don't do weddings or many portrait sessions, though, and that's where the real money is. If you can book one wedding per. week at roughly $1000 for photos and a video then that's easily $40-50k a year. Plus, you can do stock photography, run a UA-cam channel, set up a print shop, etc. for passive income. It's important to have multiple streams of revenue as a photographer, though, and live a frugal lifestyle.
