finally. based on these test, Poly at number 1. surprisingly, Sony #2 is not far behind considering it's not really focusing on UC space. followed by Logitech, Airpods, and last would be Jabra.
Jabra seems did not cancel the noises at all

Good observation yea seems like that's the consensus here sony being decent at noise cancellation. Jabra doesn't advertise noise cancellation so I'm not surprised by that they probably just decided to focus more for quiet environment applications.

For open office environments, however, we always recommend using an Evolve2 headset with a boom arm and premium microphones.

Great review. I have the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and I get similar performance to what was shown here. Quiet environments the microphone performance is great but in noisy environments sometimes I feel as if it accepts all sounds coming from in front of it and only cancels out sound emanating from behind it (if its an open environment without sound reflecting around a room). Comparatively they brought in the most background noise in the mic tests.
Consequently they've forced me to be more aware of the direction the microphones are pointed in tests for microphones with directional pickup. For example the pickup of vehicle road noise being louder if someone is walking along a sidewalk than if someone is showing their performance when their back is towards the road and thus the directional mic isn't picking up much to actually filter and reduce

Yes Jabra decided to not go with noise cancellation probably due to limited space for how slim the earbuds are which makes it more challenging when you have noises like road noise or office noises. Something to be aware of

Found for calls and meetings in office, anywhere loud (even driving a convertible) the Poly Voyager 5200 is best; they work great for communicating anywhere. I also have the Jabra Evolve2 Buds (nice for flexibility to listen to media, but noise cancellation not great and voice quality just ok if anywhere at all noisy). Sounds like (no pun intended) the Poly Voyager Buds might be almost as good as the 5200s. Great detailed review.

damn I got a poly free 60 uc 😢 and it just cancelled my voice as noise all my fd comment are barley can hear me . manytime the traffic sound are not cancelled while I walking across the street.😢😢😢😢😢

Unfortunately still as of 2023 earbuds underperform for mic quality and mic noise cancellation in comparison to traditional headsets with mic booms.

Unfortunately Sony doesn't sell the dongle at all so you can't buy it which is a super bummer but I'm sure if they get enough complaints they will sell the dongle seperate. Sony is new into the business headset space so they will evolve soon I bet.

AirPods Pro work terribly with a PC as most PCs do not use AAC as their native BT CODEC. Since the audio quality downgrades to SBC which is not great

We don't blame you. Most earbuds don't have sidetone so you can't hear yourself.

@@HeadsetAdvisor Apple EarPods Pro are the defacto standard if you ask me. Pass through = sidetone. They do not play nice with MS Teams thought. Yes I've tried the Jabra Link 370 with them. Still hit and miss. This tech is way behind the times.

Getting the Airpods to work on PC is anything but simple. It is simply a NIGHTMARE. I'm sure apple made it so they are anything but "simply compatible".
They disconnect often, the have severe paring issues, the mic does not function properly AT ALL, when they do connect they will randomly drop quality.
I'm so happy I have $200 buds that are such a complete sloppy mess to use on my PC.... such a shame. Morons at apple don't realize I'm here to find new earbuds to buy and CHUCK MY AIRPODS IN THE BIN!!!!
