The first 5 mins used to be my much hated morning commute. You seem to have missed the queues, being cut up by other drivers and the psycolists riding in the middle of the road next to the empty bike lane. I’ve driven around Britain extensively and find Bristol drivers amongst the worst and I include London in that.
Oi you lol..I'm an Irish in Bristol..I just started a channel filming some of the glorious old world architecture in Bristol.. and the amount of cathedrals you guys have is unreal. We should do a tour of Bristol and get the suspension bridge filmed all lit up at night.. good to see another fan of Bristol. Bless ☘️💚🙏

I left Bristol in 1983 after about 35 years. Sadly so much has changed. As others have said the Council Planners have put paid to what The Luftwaffe missed. Some changes for the better. But so much has been lost sadly. I grew up in Southville which is not featured here. But I think the worst changes are on the the Tramway Centre which seems utterly barren and worse still the area around St Mary Radcliffe. Having said all this I enjoyed the video and I was largely able to keep my bearings. Thank you.

@@mjhmjh6444 the key word in my comment was community. The city centre isn’t really a community area. When I said my comment I meant areas like St. Paul’s, Easton, Clifton etc. which are usually quite busy throughout the day. I guess I used the wrong word.
Bristol Council restricts traffic flow by putting in cycle lanes, bus lanes, making old two lanes into one lane, now a single car accident, delivery lorry stopping brings the city to a complete standstill. Also don't have a heart attack in rush hour as the Ambulance will never get to you on time due to this. Bristol does it's best to deter people from visiting by having the second worse traffic management system in the UK only to Belfast, does it not understand that stationary traffic pump more CO2 than moving traffic, and this is until the conjestion zones come in to completely finish the Bristol economy.
