Gustavo Dudamel Conducts the YOLA at HOLA Wind Ensemble - October 13, 2012

LA Phil Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Music Director leads the YOLA at HOLA Wind Ensemble in rehearsal as they play Verdi's "Overture to Nabucco." These students, early middle schoolers who have been playing their instruments for 2 years, learn new ways of conveying a story through music.
Made possible by a partnership between Heart of LA (HOLA) and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) at HOLA is a free music education program, which provides participating students with intensive afterschool orchestral instruction and academic tutoring.

Why can't Gustavo ever be honest with his orchestras?
Why are there elephants in the orchestra?
