Shania Twain is a huge Canadian singer songwriter with lots of hit songs. She is one of the best selling artists in country pop history. She had a very tragic life, lost her mom & stepfather in 1987 & had to look after her younger siblings. In 1993 she released her first album & the rest, as they say, is history. Some of her hits are "From This Moment On", "That Don't Impress Me Much", ""Your Still The One", "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!", "Forever & For Always" etc.
Come on Over is the best selling album by a solo female artist in history! It is second to the Bodyguard soundtrack overall, but there was features in that album, so Shania has the record for solo artist!

Dolly and others came a long time before Shania, but she brought it to a new audience My favourite Dolly moment was people realising that Whitney's biggest song was Dolly's (and Dolly did it better ?)
Shania is in the 100 million records sold club making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. She definitely owned the 90’sin her genre. She brought fashion to country music that was anything but traditional and it changed the way female country artists presented themselves.

Shania is gorgeous. The video of this song pays homage to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" and "Simply Irresistible" videos where Palmer is out front and beautiful women playing instruments are behind him. in her video she's up front and she has beautiful men playing instruments behind her, all dressed in a similar fashion to Palmer's video. Not sure I could crush on a woman much harder than Shania. Simply stunning.

"... doin' it up in style!" is the phrase you couldn't understand. You should watch the video she made for this song - her outfits are just as stunning. And yes - she's SO pretty!
I was just singing this song in my head and then I got on UA-cam and here this is. Back then I loved Shania Twain. My favorite songs by her are "Still the One" and "Any man Of Mine". Great reaction.
Her life story is compelling. Her dad was native indian, Shania is a girl's name of Native American origin-believed to be Ojibwa-and means “I'm on my way.” She grew up dirt poor in northern Canada. It's called a choker.....women started wearing them back in the late 1800's , early 1900's. Queen Mary who was married to the English King George V, made them very fashionable.
This great song was meant as a reaction to the iconic video by the late, great Robert Palmer and 'Addicted To Love' (I hope you can check that one out too). Shania is such a beautiful and talented lady, I love everything she's done. 🙋♂
Shania had the country music world all up in arms when she started out because she was the first woman to show her belly button in a country music video. It was almost as big of an upset as when Loretta Lynn sang a song called The Pill about birth control back in the day. Lol.
Before you watch the official video version, check out Robert Palmer's 'Addicted to Love' offficial video. Shania's was in response to his in regards to the 'band' in the background. Then you'll see where the band member's leather pants and mesh shirts came from.

Shania was massively popular around 2000 because she was "country," but, simular to Taylor Swift, she had a sound that appealed to pop radio as well. Even my wife's pastor Dad has trouble not watching the music video for this song, lol.
Shania had a personal and health crisis in the early 2000s and she had her comeback with a Duett with Lionel Richie on „Endless Love“. He had to convince that she can still sing!
I don't think it's a stretch in any way shape or form to say that Shania Twain is quite possibly the most beautiful woman that has ever walked the Earth. She is still possibly the most beautiful woman on Earth today let alone 25 years ago when she was making music. She's so gorgeous you almost can't look at her it's like staring into the sun.

the song and video (original video) featured an all male band and what, at lease some women thought, were "hunks" with their tight pants, mesh shirts and abs and all. The video was was made in response to a song/video from Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love" (1985) in which it was an all female band with some transparency to their clothing and moving in unison while playing their instruments and without expression. Check it out.
This is early 90s originally. She crossed over from country to mainstream pop after teaming up with producer Robert John ”Mutt” Lange of AC/DC and Def Leppard fame, and became the biggest selling female artist of all time. Plenty of monster hits in her catalog.

Yessss Bri!! Shania is AMAZING!! I'm a Metalhead, through and through, but I hear "Let's Go Girls!", and I'm instantly a kicking in the door Country Boy!! I LOVE Shania, she's a National Treasure, (even though I think she's Canadian? 🤷🏼♂️), my wife and I don't agree on music often, but Shania is the exception to the rule!!
Please checkout more NOW!! She's the BEST SELLING COUNTRY ARTIST OF ALL TIME!! (Not just female, ALL TIME!)
she is definitely stunning, She has sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Try "That Don't Impress Me Much", "Don't be Stupid", "Any Man of Mine" "From this Moment on" (Official Video) Is STUNNING!!!
Shania was massively popular around 2000 because she was "country," but, simular to Taylor Swift, she had a sound that appealed to pop radio as well. Even my wife's pastor Dad has trouble not watching the music video for this song, lol.
She had a really producer with lots of experience with rock acts that wanted her to appeal to pop radio who helped her accomplish that.
Shania had a personal and health crisis in the early 2000s and she had her comeback with a Duett with Lionel Richie on „Endless Love“. He had to convince that she can still sing!
It’s just beautiful!
ENDLESS LOVE DIANA ROSS "Facts"
I don't think it's a stretch in any way shape or form to say that Shania Twain is quite possibly the most beautiful woman that has ever walked the Earth. She is still possibly the most beautiful woman on Earth today let alone 25 years ago when she was making music. She's so gorgeous you almost can't look at her it's like staring into the sun.
Check out Any Man of Mine by her. She is so BEAUTIFUL
This is one of Shania's most well known songs, but it achieved #3 right after being released, but never got higher. It is still a favorite song...
This song came out in 1997. She is even more stunning in 2023!
You'd better get some new glasses
I remember being a young man in my mid twenties, being absolutly "in love" with Shania. Today in my mid 40's as I wath your reaction I am reminded of how beautiful and Talented she was and is.
You've never heard of Shania Twain??? she is one of the biggest selling recording artists of all time..
She's had number one singles in multiple genres...

So happy seeing the next generation finding our anthem!
It is cool but make me feel old too!
Fun fact about Shania !!! She was previously married to "Mutt"Lange (when this was performed) He is a record producer, well known for producing records for; Def Leppard,ACDC, Foreigner and more
You can say what you want - Shania is and has always been a super model!
Just saw her in concert and it's incredible to see her live. Shes still wearing this outfit while performing this song. Look it up.
Shania’s trademark song. The lyrics you couldn’t quite catch: “really go wild. Doin’ it in style”
Shania showing off the height of femininity in her outfit contrasting the words of the song. Genius!
This was / is my daughter's song for the car ride always gets you moving. And you have the name right 😁
Loved your reaction - so cool it was. I was there when Shania Twain "came on the scene." I loved her. She is a Woman! Thanks.
If you like this, you will DIE over her catsuit in the music video for "That Don't Imress Me Much"
Miss Shania is THAT GIRL of the 90s 😍
I was at this CMA's worked as a seat feeler meaning when one goes up to perform I sat in their seats to make the seats look full for CAMERA's. I got to work a few of these shows, some where FANTASTIC and some where A&&HOLES. I will not tell you who the A&&'s where because it would rip your heart out because I have seen you're reaction to a couple of them and you looooove one of them...Love watching you react to some oldies but GOODIES
I grew up with almost all boys and I always remember my papa singing “man! I feel like a woman!” so loud in his truck with me and my two little brothers when we were kids and it was so fun 😂 like yes papa sing it loud!!! LOL such a great memory.
You got the name right. An she is like country music royalty, great songs
She is a Canadian and I love all her songs and she’s not a super model
Shania Twain has a very unique style. A great Mix of Country, Pop and Rock put together so perfectly. Very Empowering songs for women
It's like the Old Saying "If you've got it, Flaunt it" and Boy has Shania got it. Looks , voice, the whole package. Regards, Jim the Brit in NI UK
I second what was previously said, it's really hard for us old timers to imagine someone not knowing about Shania Twain. Serious Rabbit hole here.
Yes!
Just here binge watching you experience all these women of country music that I grew up on! Its so fun watching you hearing such iconic songs for the first time! ❤
I know this is an old reacts but I love your reaction to Shania Twain!! She rocked her country back in the 90’s and continues to so today!!!
I love you so much!!! You know how to get to the heart of it. Most men don't get Shania at all, but you get her!!!
You will enjoy Shania Twain’s song “Any Man of Mine”
Ive never been into country or pop but I have always crushed hard on Shania, shes a queen!
I would agree that checking out the official video is worth it. She is amazing for sure.
Always thought she was smokin' hot! A smoking hot reaction, to smoking hot song by a smoking hot artist, reacted to by a smoking hot reactor. In all seriousness though, you have become one of my favorite reacotors. And you are a beautiful woman. Your husband married up. ;)
the song and video (original video) featured an all male band and what, at lease some women thought, were "hunks" with their tight pants, mesh shirts and abs and all. The video was was made in response to a song/video from Robert Palmer "Addicted to Love" (1985) in which it was an all female band with some transparency to their clothing and moving in unison while playing their instruments and without expression. Check it out.
LOVE that your initial reaction is to compliment, not belittle!!!! Women building up women...support one another, for God's sake!!! XOXOXOX
I love how you acknowledged her beauty. You Britt are just as beautiful / pretty! I say this with all respect to you.
I recommend Shania Twain's 2003 Chicago concert. It's incredible. It's considered the best concert she ever did. Almost no channel reacts to it.
This is early 90s originally. She crossed over from country to mainstream pop after teaming up with producer Robert John ”Mutt” Lange of AC/DC and Def Leppard fame, and became the biggest selling female artist of all time. Plenty of monster hits in her catalog.
She has a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas right now
She's been my crush for a long time! She can sing like crazy, and just look at her. I mean...
This song was soooo big!! I was in my twenties and listened to her album on repeat!! She is from Canada. Not sure it she was ever a model but she definitely could have been… gorgeous! And a voice “like a Woman”!! ❤
