nice a different axe thanks fluff diggin it man brought back an oldie but goodie. sounds amazing too honestly best quality sound I've heard in quite a while.
Does Two Notes foresee any issues with the heat radiating from the tube causing problems with the rest of the circuitry due to the proximity inside the pedal housing and no place for the heat to escape?
amazing as ever fluff, i may get this pedal somewhere down the line atm im using amt pedal pre amps into wall of sound 3. this le lead looks like it could be handier with its duel switchery and such. Thanks for the vid anyhoo keep up the good work :)
How do "preamp" pedals work, Fluff? Does this bad boy go in front of your amp or in the FX loop to bypass the preamp of your head? Thanks. Sounded good!
Pretty damn cool. I actually really liked the clean side when you did the play through. There's an intro lick I've wanted to record, but I have a hard time getting the right clean tone. You nailed it by twiddling the knobs on this thing. Although not sure if that justifies the price for me since the dirty side isn't really my cup of tea.
+James Hayes im not saying i dont like it, but, considering the sound and even the name of the pedal, a little solo woulnt hurt, especially over the clean part of the song, he is able to, looks more like a miss oportunity to me.
Is this direct into your DAW using the speaker sim capabilities of the pedal itself ? Im really interested in the LE Clean as ive been thinking about building a direct pedalboard. Could you do a demo of that and show how it takes drive pedals as well ....and maybe put some reverb or delay in the loop. Im basically waiting for some demos of it b4 deciding between the le clean and the ethos clean
Would this pedal work on a Single Channel Amp like an Orange Dark Terror, making the amp capable of going from clean to dirty since it has a pre amp tube in it? Just curious, might be a rookie question. Trying to figure out a way to be able to go from clean to dirty on a single channel amp at the stomp of a button if possible. Thanks.
So sorry if this is a dumb question. Hoping the fact I just bought a Le Clean and that my brand new truck got broken into at you show in Portland a few weeks ago will buy me some good will. Is that a Schecter string dampener and if so, is there a place I could get a couple. I have a modded C-1+ and a Blackjack C-7 and am big Schecter fan. I'd be even more so if they had more options with passive pickups. Cheers. Btw, actually misread the seeing you guys because I went out to make truck to check on it and found the busted out windows. Nothing stolen though so...
Seems nice. Question is... will it sound good with a triple rectifier power amp? :O I dislike the lead sound in my rectifier. :/ Love it for rhythms. But sounds horrible for lead.
Hey Fluff, what do you think about Killswitchs and Footswitchs pedal? Do you have any kind of Idea about how to use it? Its weird because i've only see buckethead doing a good work with it.
Have you run into the two notes live with the poweramp modeling? Thinking of picking up one of these for a home demo rig and pair it with the torpedo live
Hey fluff, I've been thinking about picking up a guitar and try to start playing it. Do you have any advice at all, for like, what type of guitar or anything?
Hey Fluff big fan..im a riff rhythm player myself love to watch u jam gets me fired up..this pedal sounds badass I must get this pedal..Lol or just send me the one u got..jk..Love ur channel Rest/Repose ep is awesome got it last week..ur an inspiration Rock on Bro!!!
Fluff, this is a pretty subjective question, but I have to ask: how does this preamp pedal compare (functionally/tone-wise/playability-wise) to the Atomic Amplifire? I'll qualify that question further with context: I've been using a POD HD500 with a good PA and FRFR monitoring since it came out as my primary rig, and I've finally grown past it, but don't want to move into Kemper/AxeFx territory. My guitar tones range from clean acoustic (piezo) to Tele twang to crushing funeral doom (often in the same song). Would this pedal plus something like a Line6 M5 as an in-loop effects unit be a reasonable investment compared to the Atomic Amps unit? Or is my use case not really at all part of the target audience? Also, cost and overall rig size are relevant.
It's nice to see you pull out your old Schecter guitar. Gibsons are great but Schecter makes a fine guitar as well. Cheers man! \m/ P.S. Will Betty White make a comeback in your vids? I hope so.
stwest79 There are many differences. I'll highlight some of them... the Amplifire has an entire suite of effects, compressor, tuner, effects loop, tons of amps, adjustable cabinet simulation, 2xlr and 2 1/4 inch outputs, and the ability to load your own custom cabinet impulse responses, just to name a few.
So my understanding yes. It has cab Sim features and midi/DI options. You could use headphones for quiet practice, use it for direct to front of house, or straight into a computer. I suppose you could use the headphones out for some monitors but I wouldn't bother unless they were quality.
Yes, several options exist to pull guitar signal, dry and then emulated distortion or distorted and an emulated cab, it will sound terrible if you don't have a cab or cab sim.
Sounded strange in the fused state, really chunky, almost bassy when you turned it to cold 3:03 Felt like there were two really mismatched amps playing.
Would have been nice to see it used with the built in speaker sim as well rather than just into the torpedo studio. Not everyone has the cash for Torpedo CAB or live/studio
Suggestion of the week : learn a few great songs to play during these demos as they are pretty bland imo. Or a picked riff for the playthrough. I always know the chords that will be played during this part! Thanks anyway for all the content!
I like it.... but wow, how many more pedals can the marketplace handle? Seems like there is a new pedal(s) released each week by companies on top of 7 million pedals available now!
+Chris Lund I feel the same way. I've recently started looking around for a decent overdrive/compressor/gate combo, and I had no idea where to start. Just ended up going with an ibanez ts9 and a boss ns 2 for the gate.
+Kyle Thompson I was the same haha. putting together my first pedalboard was a struggle, especially with all the clone pedals out there as well. good choice though, it's really hard to go wrong with a TS9.
+Jamie MacMillan That's what he did buddy ! Look at the signal chain at the beginning of the video. He says: "power section only". When you plug into the fx return of your amp, that's what you do.
That is the cleanest distortion sound I have ever heard on your demos. That was sooo good!!!
Whoever was behind designing this pre-amp was absolutely genius.
nice a different axe thanks fluff diggin it man brought back an oldie but goodie. sounds amazing too honestly best quality sound I've heard in quite a while.
when will we see the other pedals. very interesting stuff coming from 2notes
How about to test PC only chain: Guitar -> Le Lead -> audio interface -> Two Notes WoS III for example?
That's pretty nice. Seems like you can get a lot of different sounds from it too, which most pedals lack lately.
Really dig the song Fluff, that down portion really works.
Please demo all the other pedals! Waiting especially for Le Clean
awesome little box, thanks for the demo
Sold!
hell yeah lol, this thing sounds awesome
Damn. I really, REALLY like how this sounds.
Fluff the mugician, I feel you make any gear sound epic... Awesome riff
The power of the Riff compels me!
Lots of people don't get that it's a lead channel preamp and can cover more than solos. Anyway, really dig this tune Ryan!
fluff is still the riff-king
Does Two Notes foresee any issues with the heat radiating from the tube causing problems with the rest of the circuitry due to the proximity inside the pedal housing and no place for the heat to escape?
Sounds awesome. For a moment it sounded close to a 5150/6505
Great video...wich do you prefer...the ksr ceres or the two notes lead ??
I am buying this pedal!!!
Hey Fluff Nice Review..just got the Le Crunch..buying this on soon..can the 12ax7 be replaced if it should go bad..just curious Love ur playing style
sounds really good. love the mids. too often the mids don't react the way I like
Any chance you'll make a demo of the DI signal? Would love to hear what it can do in a recording environment!! ✌
Holy shit... That sounded amazing.
Really nice Fluff!
amazing as ever fluff, i may get this pedal somewhere down the line atm im using amt pedal pre amps into wall of sound 3. this le lead looks like it could be handier with its duel switchery and such. Thanks for the vid anyhoo keep up the good work :)
some fine playing there fluff

Is called Le Lead Fluff, do some lead guitar damnit
Serioudly. Song is awful
+mizmo21 Really? I actually think it's cool.
+James Hayes Yup. Just some good old heavy riffs, with no part truly being rhythm or lead.
+James Hayes im not saying i dont like it, but, considering the sound and even the name of the pedal, a little solo woulnt hurt, especially over the clean part of the song, he is able to, looks more like a miss oportunity to me.
+Joel Trochez 0:39
Hi, which one is the best in terms on tone, dynamic and tube amp feel, two notes le lead, ksr ceres or ISP THETA? Greetings
that is a beautiful pedal.
Is this direct into your DAW using the speaker sim capabilities of the pedal itself ? Im really interested in the LE Clean as ive been thinking about building a direct pedalboard. Fluff is the Ron Swanson of guitar. Tremendous.
You don't even scratch the surface of what this pedal can do !
Hey Fluff, what do you think about Killswitchs and Footswitchs pedal? Do you have any kind of Idea about how to use it? Its weird because i've only see buckethead doing a good work with it.
Hey fluff are you planning on doing more with rest repose really loved the album by the way
Any plans on doing a Le Clean demo?
Is that an evertune bridge I see on that black Schecter guitar? :/
If so, do you like it? Could you recommend it?
Evertunes are EXCELLENT. Plus Devin Townsend uses them exclusively now so that's good enough for me.
sounds great fluff.....what pickups are those in that Schecter? I really liked that clean sound you got on the neck :)
Have you run into the two notes live with the poweramp modeling? Thinking of picking up one of these for a home demo rig and pair it with the torpedo live
I remember when i first saw a tube in a pedal i wanted was a mesa v-twin, loved those things, do you use a sub with your jbls?
You should have plugged it straight in the torpedo live line input with power amp sim, that's what this pedal is made for :)
sounds great but fluff made a line 6 spider sound great, so try before u buy or it will be on ebay next week
I really love the clarity of this pedal/guitar! If you don't mind me asking, What kind of pickups were you using in this vid?
Will you be reviewing the Le Bass?
Any chance of a Le Clean video?
Hey fluff, I've been thinking about picking up a guitar and try to start playing it. Do you have any advice at all, for like, what type of guitar or anything?
Are the tubes replaceable? El48,12Ax7,6v6?
That's a killer tune! \m/
Which do you prefer - this against the ISP Theta?
WOW!
great tone :)

Waited for this! Will Le Clean get done as well?
It's nice to see you pull out your old Schecter guitar. Gibsons are great but Schecter makes a fine guitar as well. Cheers man! \m/
P.S. Will Betty White make a comeback in your vids? I hope so.
are you going to do a studio tour for 2016 anytime soon?
Hi Fluff ! How well do you think it would fare as a standalone silent practice amps (into headphones) ? Thanks for the video
Very nice. Fluff, can you do a demo of the Torpedo CAB with stomp boxes only in front of it?
Feel like this could be a solid Stoner Metal pedal.
hOW DID YOU RECORD ? guitar>lead two note> ampli peavey> cab peavey> mic sm57> torpedo studio?
thanks
What's the tube inside ? can it be replaced easily ? thx
That guitar is fucking gorgeous.
Two Notes bruh... on point
Will you demo all the others?
my question is if it's a real tube that works, when it burns out how do you fix it?....
What's the benefit of this over say an atomic amplifire? I get that it's half the price, but it's just one sound versus being more flexible.
stwest79 There are many differences.
That being said, I dont see any advantage of the Two Notes
Fluff, I feel like you may have covered this in another video, but what are you using to Reamp?
Just asking: it has a headphone jack. Can I.... like use it as some sort of portable amp?
So my understanding yes. It has cab Sim features and midi/DI options. You could use headphones for quiet practice, use it for direct to front of house, or straight into a computer. I suppose you could use the headphones out for some monitors but I wouldn't bother unless they were quality.
They need to make these things able to go straight to a cab... Would be an all-in-one solution
Is there a way to record distorted guitars without micing an amp?
Yes, several options exist to pull guitar signal, dry and then emulated distortion or distorted and an emulated cab, it will sound terrible if you don't have a cab or cab sim.
Hey Fluff! what tuning are you using in this vid? Thanks
Probably Drop B since almost all his riffs are in Drop B.
Do you plug the pedal straight into the amp?
Holy shit he busted out the schecter!!! sweet!
Which preamp pedal has the most fizz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????
I WANT ONE!
Sounded strange in the fused state, really chunky, almost bassy when you turned it to cold 3:03 Felt like there were two really mismatched amps playing.

Bruce, RR SL LD or LE Preamp?)

+Chris Lund I feel the same way. I've recently started looking around for a decent overdrive/compressor/gate combo, and I had no idea where to start. Just ended up going with an ibanez ts9 and a boss ns 2 for the gate.

I'm definitely diggin' it so far. It was on sale for $100 too lol
it's new gear, dude. We're guitarists. haha. Who doesn't love new gear?!?!
+Kyle Thompson ISP Decimator 2 is the king gate, tbh. NS 2 doesn't even hold a candle. Gates are pretty under represented tbh.
Is this pretty much just an amp in a pedal form?
sounds great
BTW if you were to use it would you plug it into the fx return in your amp
+Jamie MacMillan That's what he did buddy ! Look at the signal chain at the beginning of the video. He says: "power section only". When you plug into the fx return of your amp, that's what you do.
Yeah thought so I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to gear so I think asking questions is a better idea than making incorrect statements
No worries ! Always happy to help.
i guess you won't demoing other 2 pedal :-D since the other two aren't meant to be used in metal genre
I wonder how this would sound just through a direct box...
Damn Fluff, that riff is tasty as f***!
channel A could boost channel B! that is awesome!
What's the signal chain?
Fluff, so how's it going without the full time accounting job and doing the UA-cam thing full time?
No DI demonstration?
What? No leads played while demoing a pedal called LE lead??
Superbe!!!! :)
I mean it's kinda cool but i really think there are way better preamps out there for just a little bit more money
Dawg, give me some suggestions!!!
More could have been done with this quickie video
cool !
but does it djent?
And price is 1billion $?
399,- to be precise.
But you were pretty close.
Waow sonds very cool
