Between Shawn and Pete Thorn, their videos are the only ones you really need to research gear of interest. I would thoroughly enjoy hearing both these guys collaborate on at least one song while demoing gear.
Great demo as always Shawn! I second the need for an instrumental album from you! Let us know if you crowd fund it and I’ll chip in, your tones and licks are too good not to have even a small collection of songs. Thanks as always for the great videos
Yep - nice tasty licks - but more impressive (to this old codger) is the ever so fine collection of tasty guitars. Oh - and your usual very high standard of wonderfully creative playing of course - and such beautifully earthy tones. Love it all-!!!
Love the 12 string....Must get my old Hohner "Tele" 12 string out of mothballs. You should feature that more often. great for rhythm guitar... Listen to the 70s band Family, specifically the track "In My Own Time" pretty much all a lovely grungy/dirty 12 string guitar sound. Lovely. And not a hint of The Byrds about it!
Hi Shawn, by achieving your desired sound, going into the wall of sound& outputting through your monitor speakers, sounds great,(as allways) but did you loose any quality or loss of tone ,after capturing the recording?
Thanks for the screen shot of your WOS plugin. I was wondering when you would run out of guitars for the intro song! great playing and nice shred there in your solos. Just curious about the dynamic57 mics eq setting you have running. Is that just a HP filter or are you cutting and boosting any frequencies? Thanks for the vids
I don't really fancy myself a slide player at all. I'll take a swing at it here and there. I use a slide called The Rock Slide. It's a molded glass slide.
@@ShawnTubbs Do I absolutely need a CABM ? I thought there was already a speaker emulator in the preamp. I just want to know if the CABM is necessary to get a sound out of the preamp or is it just for better sound quality. Thanks for your answer, Btw your video quality is amazing.
@@massiegauthier1529 Thanks so much! You don't need the CABM as the Le Crunch already has a headphone out and analog Cab sim. The CABM would just provide more options for tone.
Loved the music of The Violet Burning, the various Vineyard recordings & Touching The Father's ❤series, Crystal Lewis, Chris Lizotte jams, but not so much Carrie Underwood... (Psalm 33:3-4)
Great playing! IMO, channel B does not sound good and it's way better to use channel A with a great booster as you've done. The Victory Sheriff preamp is a better option for anyone looking for a tube plexi style preamp.
I have a busted one of these my mate killed, I really want to repair it but thats proving hard. If anyone has one and they want to send me some internal pics hit me up plz!
Love your channel, but you love harsh tone. The attack literally hurts my ear from the treble, seriously, dial that down. Your playing is topshelf though.

Once again! The lick at 1:13 and everything after! Just WOW. Amazing Shawn. We need to start a licks library of your demo videos.
I have seen my reviews of this pedals before, and you did this so recently! Absolutely the BEST REVIEW of the pedal! Thank you!!!
Great helpful review and incredibly beautiful playing as usual, thank you Shawn!
What a great sound for a small box!!!
Two Notes should put all these products (Le Clean, Crunch, Lead, IR's in stereo) into one pro rack unit we can use live.
Each time I listen to one of your demo I want to practice things I see you playing :-)
Excellent demo and even better chops. Great job.
By far your best yet! Damn...that slide was sweet Shawn. I’d explore this one out. There’s a great tune in there!
That pedal sounds yummy, but even more impressed by how clean you hit your notes.

Excellent!!!
Thank you for this demo "Capt. Le Crunch."
Great stuff Shawn. I love the intro song!
That distortion is glorious!
Excellent Demo I liked the slow way you explained each feature, I have subscribed hoping you do a demo of the two notes studio Thank you
Thanks so much for watching!! I have just recently put up a demo video of the Two Notes Torpedo Studio.
Great review, as always👍🏼 Thanks a lot, Shawn👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great track Shawn!
Awesome review Shawn, thanks!
What a toy room you must have,,,,,,once again great video👍👍🍺🍺🎶🇺🇸🤗

And not a hint of The Byrds about it!
Great playing and literally 1 million dollars worth of guitars!!
Awesome overview!
Nice touch as usual ! Thumbs up !
FIRST!!! YASS!!! Your slide work is always a dream, my dude.
You have some nice gear in that room!
Good grief, bro! Time to crowd-fund an album!!! That intro track was tasty!
Great intro song and playing Shawn! Killing it as always!
Hello Shawn, what kind/type of cab.sim. is being used/built in? What do you think of the quality of it?
Love your videos
Thank you, thank you very much. I felt dumb when I first tried it 😁
Great Videos. How does this compare to the Revv G2?
Hi Shawn, great guitar playing´as always. Do you think it could be possible, that you make a review of the Bartel Amps?
Thanks so much for watching!! I'll look into it!
Hi Shawn, by achieving your desired sound, going into the wall of sound& outputting through your monitor speakers, sounds great,(as allways) but did you loose any quality or loss of tone ,after capturing the recording?
Thanks Stephen. I didn't have any issue with sonic degradation at all.
I'm trying to choose between Two Notes and Kingsley preamps considering sound (MIDI and CabSim aside). Which are more "tube"? Any thoughts anyone?
Playing is off the chain 😮😮
Whoa @ 14:27 very nice ride.

I think I added 2db of 2k. Everything else is flat.
I sometimes use an AMT ss-11 in a similar way but I kind of miss the "power amp muscle". How do you compensate for that?
It's pretty hard to compensate for PA feel. I think two notes have power amp simulation in some of their software apps.
I LOVE the 12 string HAMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That 12 string hollow body... wow. See you posting Sunday on TT?
Thanks! I'm going to try and check in for sure.
Did you try using the power amp sim in WOS?
In Hot Mode, I'd cut bass a little more with the A channel.
Would this be suitable for steve lukather- ish tones?
Can use stereo output?
What slide were you rocking this time btw?
I don't really fancy myself a slide player at all. I'll take a swing at it here and there. I use a slide called The Rock Slide. It's a molded glass slide.
@@ShawnTubbs Awesome, I use their brass slides. Never took a swing at their glass line though. I'll probs check up on that.
Can you just play it with some pedals and headphones? Without anything else? (I'm looking for a method of practicing quietly just with headphones)
You can for sure but you would need something like a CABM. It would sound and feel great!!!

man i was hoping u were going to pull a G3 out at the end hahaha awesome review but :)

Vox AC30 sim?
Hey Shawn is your slide playing in standard?
I'm really not much of a slide player.. I always just play in standard.
Geht das auch in Deutsch
1:12 😮
Pretty good Marshall tones, but not 9 times better than my Joyo British Sound preamp, which only cost $50.
I have a busted one of these my mate killed, I really want to repair it but thats proving hard. If anyone has one and they want to send me some internal pics hit me up plz!
you have way too much money sir. considering all the amps laying around there, all those suhrs and what not :D
Dude
Has lttle to do with a real Plexi tone, sorry!
Love your channel, but you love harsh tone. The attack literally hurts my ear from the treble, seriously, dial that down. Your playing is topshelf though.
Please send me an example of YOU actually playing your guitar for reference. I’m sure the tone you create is gloriously “brown”.
