About Drunk History:
Based on the popular web series, Drunk History is the liquored-up narration of our nation's history. Host Derek Waters, along with an ever-changing cast of actors and comedians, travels across the country to present the rich tales that every city in this land has to offer. Booze helps bring out the truth. It's just that sometimes the truth is a little incoherent.

I guess Kenneth really is as old as he hints he is
They need to but full episodes on Netflix or something
The full episodes are on Hulu.
Erick Bonilla They're on Hulu, nowadays.
Erick Bonilla full episodes of a bunch of made up lies and crap why don't you do the research on this history yourself to find out the real truth
@@jcjcc1960 Holy shit, shut up.
JC JCC it’s funny. Do you think people go watching “DRUNK history” for real facts?
When they had William Jennings Bryan say the whole, "I'm dizzy. I feel weird..." bit, I died from delight.
It's actually Williams Jenning Bryan
damn these are too short
Tariq ali that's because you're watching a clip from the episode not the full episode watch them on Hulu
Totally love the idea of putting this on Netflix. Also, wish they had more college professors doing the drinking/talking rather than like actors and comedians.
Holy fucking shit is that Josh Lyman from the West Wing
Not only that, but I imagined it as Josh the entire time Bradley Whitford was meant to be speaking....
Did you all know that Williams Jennings Bryan guy was almost our president but he lost to McKinley in 1896 53% to 47% popular vote. THAT GUY WAS ALMOST PRESIDENT. Blows me away.
relix7373
In fairness, the other one, McKinley was not much better.
+relix7373 You realize you are comparing a caricature of William Jennings Bryan, right? He was actually a brilliant man, albeit overconfident of his perception of the bible.
+Dennis Kautz If William Jennings genuinely thought the bible was literally true, he isn't bright. Not even in the most abstract sense.
Ad Dominion
It's called belief. With any belief system one usually makes a number of assumptions and some large ones. The belief in evolution is no different. Although we are indoctrinated to think the theory is true and those who question it are fundamentalist. The truth is the supposed evidence for evolution crumbles under scrutiny and it takes faith to believe in the stories told of the past just like the bible's stories.
Dennis Kautz Believing metaphors literally is justified because it takes 'faith' to believe in evolution? No, it takes evidence. Can you show me some that proves the bible is based on fact? If so, is there any fact specifically stated?
William's face at 2:05. Fucking priceless.
That laughter at 1:17 and reaction to it. Mind = blown.
Haha he's saying William Jennings as Williams Jenning
I think that's usually the first thing to go when you are drinking, Pronunciation.
WhenTheSkyTurnsDark for me, it's my pants HEY OHH
John Quincy LOL!!
Guys... Pants are something that gals finally won the right to wear freely not that long ago. They are a privilege, not a right. ;)
Bradley Whitford is awesome. That is all.
I. Love. Jack. McBrayer.
Bradley Whitford would be an amazing Bryan in a film.
Best. One. Yet!!!
Stellar reenactment!
:'D
They go to a lot of production value to make videos like this. Beautifully done.
GrandmasterBBC well I mean it's a TV show on Comedy Central not just a video series so.....
This should be the next season of American Crime Story
Shockingly, some comedians can handle their booze better than others.
best one yet
History class would be a blast if we had guest speakers like this
Bradley Whitford!
He's not drunk he's tipsy
Austin Trench he was not a drunk he was brilliant
The Scopes trial should be an hbo mini series. It’s inspiring to see Darrow fight for the freedom to teach science.
1:16 they should have cut to that guy playing the judge... in the oval office and then cut back when he f***** up on "presidential"
If they only had somebody as brilliant as me 😂
now i want a full political drama starring bradley whitford as William Jennings Bryan
sorry one side of the case- you cannot present testimony *shrug*
MEFASOLA yes and there's plenty of evidence as far as what really happened in this historical event which this man is my seventh cousin and I know this because we actually had DNA testing done but he is my seventh cousin and I am very proud of that, he was not a drunk he was true Christian that believed in what he wrote this is an absolute shit show and does not reflect any real history about this great Man William Jennings Bryan I love my history!!!
I can only say this - yes, but a qualified yes?
2:31 top left, Tim & Eric belching/divorce skit
bradley whitford is hilarious
Yeah, see how that closing argument went.
Bryan: I don't think about things I don't think about
Darrow: Do you think about things you do think about?
Bryan: Sometimes
(Crowd laughs)
This guy was on MR SHOW! w00t
Hey! That's the dude from West Wing! THAT'S where he's from! I couldn't place him...
Nice.
Some people are just better at handling their liquor
I love how they leave it on a cliff hanger!
The dude from 30 Rock.
Isn’t that clearance character a famous viner?
Williams Jenning Bryan
He's certainly drunk because Scopes lost the case 🤣🤣🤣 makes it sound like the defendant won lmao
The defendant did win. Sure, the jury ruled against him (on a technicality), but the ruling was thrown out on appeal (on a technicality) and the trial itself accomplished everything the defendant and his team wanted, namely publicity for the issue.
@@JeantheSecond Publicity which led to a widespread culture shift away from the American view on Christianity. The Scopes trial was the start of the intellectual suicide we now have of “coming out” as a Christian in the realm of science. Absolutely asinine.
2:11 explains the mindset of the average Jesus freak
williams jenning bryan
Bryan: *is a expert on the bible*
Also Bryan: yall agnostics can figure dat shit out
Remember when the comedians on Drunk History actually got drunk? I remember the days when it was Duncan Trussell explaining the life story of Tesla while hunched over a toilet puking. Those were the good episodes.
lol im related to W.J.B
where can i watch the full episodes???
You can purchase them on amazon for $1.99 per episode
Mark Fabros anyplace where episodes are $free.99??
tokowpc couchtuner
either way its happening
His name isn't Williams Jenning Bryan, it's William Jennings Bryan
LordHealey He's drunk do you think he'd remember stuff like that. See 2:10.
TheBlackDemon1996 Totally. I get he's drunk, but I just wanted to point it out. Peace, brother
Why didn't he put Williams Brian on the Bible?
YOU DONT PUT THESE EPISODES UP!!! IM GOING TOFIGHT YOU ALL
This seems more based upon the movie, than upon actual history. Maybe it should be called "Drunk movie-retelling"?
***** In the real trial, the defense wanted him to be found guilty so they could challenge the law at The Supreme Court. BTW, the movie used some actual testimony from the trial as dialogue.
*****
This whole case seemed to be a sham just to put Hillsborough on the map since it was financially strapped at the time.
Heru- deshet hillsborough?
no
I'm going to get Facebook comments for this...
I feel that social media is ruining everything as I type this on a social media platform
I've seen Monkeys drunker than that teaching Theoretical Physics II. What is he drinking, Wine coolers?
And yes, Google, Google+, And Google+++, I am aware that will go down on my permanent record.
you mean when HBO did it and not comedy central
Why did they put monkeys on trial though?
huh
The judge was my great uncle
If Pyrrho314 sues Ur a22 for plagiarism ..... U could @least give'em a spot on the Drunken physics Series
Here's a thought; shouldn't all the comments for "Drunk History" be written when by drunk people?
That fios commercial with that weird kid from stranger things is annoying
wtf!?
Naw, he died because if he didn't believe in evolution, he'd never see a merman...
wut
What the hell is with these "no ending" stories? Show the entire bit! If you refuse you to that here, at least put them as a season on Amazon instant video and make a stupid buck. Annoying.
thestargzr you know what's really annoying? ignorant people like you. Do you know what Google is because if you would have taken just five seconds to Google this you would have seen that this show has full episodes and you would be able to come to the conclusion that this is a clip.
You can watch full episodes on Hulu.
Also the fact that it advertised the show afterwards and cut it off at a cliff hanger part to get you to watch more most people who aren't fucking stupid would have realized it's a clip
sugarblunt dude that's a comment from 4 years ago
Kc
Aaaaa
The bible is allegory; it says the stories aren't supposed to be taken literally
Where does it say that?
The bible said Adam begat sons and daughters. Cain married his sister. Marrying family wasn't against God's law until 2500 years later.
When did marrying siblings become against God's law? I only know of law against marrying parents or step-parents.
Iif

This is absolute bull crap compared to how it went
