- We are in Panama restaurant in Mazatlan Mexico for some delicious authentic Mexican breakfast. There's a panama around every corner in Mazatlan and they are always super full. This is by far the most popular restaurant in Sinaloa Mexico and we are here for some Mexican breakfast. I order things such as machaca which is a very traditional Mexican breakfast and various other Mexican breakfast dishes. We even found some food for Sophie to try here. One of my biggest regrets in life is that I did not discover Mexico until I was in my 60s. A Mexican breakfast is the only way to go. Forget Puerto Vallarta. Our next stop is this breakfast spot in Mazatlan. Your food videos from Mexico are excellent! Cheers,

Salsa tatemada is when you semi roast the tomato, green pepper etc. Just wait for the skin to roast, then you put it on the blender or just manually smash it to create the salsa.

I went to Mazatlan many years ago and had the chance to stop at Panama. I ordered that very dish and let me tell you, he is not exaggerating.
Been here a ton of times. Love their pie de guayaba, Cocorchata, and Cafe de olla.

Hey Carlos, I have started watching "Volpe Drunk and Hungry" series recently and I can say with confidence that the inclusion of Sofinator is a must in your videos. Before that I watched the Darjeeling video(Foreget the Taj Mahal...) from Volpe Where Are You. The different take from her side, specially she being a vegetarian certainly adds another dimension to the food related videos for sure.

Si. La del desayuno campirano no es una tostada ...se le llama gordita o sope aquí en Mazatlán y tienes razón es la misma que se usa en la chorreada con asientos y carne asada.
Any chance you can add some footage about where you stay, any safety issues, how is life for the regular folks there, etc? Seeing all the food is great, but some other info about Sinaloa would be appreciated. Before watching these vlogs, I only associated Sinaloa with the cartel and drugs. Thanks
