Sooooo excited to hear your thoughts on the DamDam Matcha Eye Serum! It’s the only product I am itching to try during the sale, even though I don’t need a new eye cream right now lol. Recommended the DamDam moisturizer to a friend, and she also loves it! I will say I also enjoyed the mango people bronzer for a while, but the company never got back to my email asking about ingredients, so I stopped using it. I did enjoy the Westman Atelier contour, but it’s just so pricey and I prefer the Ere Perez bronzing pot better.

Wow. Most of your “don’t buy’ are ones that I love. I love the Westman Atelier contour stick for all the reasons you said it’s no good, mostly being that you can’t mess it up. That rose inc tinted serum is probably my very favorite foundation type product I’ve ever worn. I think the rose inc foundation brush is the key to that product. I even liked the kulfi concealer! But I also love the caliray mascara, which was on your ‘yes’ list.
Hi Britt! On the Merit solo shadows - I have a bunch and love them! I also have Studio and wear it a lot, but it's more of a super neutral-y shade. I don't find them to be too sheer - I actually use a heavier hand than I do with most cream shadows and I get a good amount of pigment showing. The other shades I own are Social (more mauve, slightly deeper than Studio), Vachetta (very warm toned light golden brown), Midcentury (mid tone neutral brown), Glace (the only shimmer - a light pinky color that was limited edition) and Viper (deep olive green). I thought I'd use Vachetta more than I do and I thought Midcentury was going to be too dark to be an everyday lid color, but surprisingly I like Midcentury for a one-and-done eye look and use it a lot! Looks darker in the pot, maybe that's why? It sheers out to be kind of perfect tbh. I got the dark Viper to use a maybe a liner (I can't do super dark lid colors really), and I have used it that way, just not a ton. Are you using it with a brush or tapping with your finger? I find tapping it on works better if you want to lay down more pigment and using a brush is good for sheering it out (like in the crease especially). Okay, this is an overly long comment, lol. Anyway, I hope you give them another go and that they end up working for you - they are so nicely budge proof!
ohhhh thanks for the tips- maybe I'll press it in and see if that makes me happier hahaha. I usually use a brush. I know I tested with fingers when I started with it and wasn't impressed. Since I've been playing with it again, it feels creamier? Like I was able to pick up more product maybe? I'll keep using it to not waste, who knows I may change my mind, for not it's meh, but I do love that the shades work for you! 💜
Good to know I’m not the only one who wasn’t wowed my the Merit eyeshadows! 😂 I tried a couple shades and they just didn’t do anything for me… plus the 6M expiry date. I ended up returning them
I actually don't do Sephora since we have Ulta that's 6 minutes away and I find what I need there. I like the color of lipstick on you with the red shirt! You always did look great in red lippes!
