    YOU... ARE...THE... BEST! Why you don't have 100,000+ followers remains forever a mystery to me. Don't women care about what goes into their face and body products??? And what about we consumers mucking up our environment with packaging? (Had to vent!) Anyway.... THANKS!!! Just need for you to know how much you are appreciated for your research, your testing, your patience with products, your intelligence which is HIGH and your easy to watch videos. (sound quality is so important and yours is great!) I guess the thing that surprised me the most on the "New Picks" is the removal of Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation. It made me pause and think, and need to finally try Juice Beauty Phyto. Thanks for tip on adding oil to a cream foundation which I find too thick as well, but will try that trick on the few I have in my collection. Any chance you would consider TWO LISTS? 1. Top picks for make-up only, for each category, from soup to nuts AND 2. Top picks for body products only - hair products, skin care, deodorant etc ? Just food for thought. A follow up with a GRWM with those number one make up choices would be so appreciated! Again MANY THANKS! p.s. I find myself reaching for and reordering Jillian Dempsey Lid Tints in Lilac and Plum. Are they still in your rotation?

      Thank you so much for these kind words- I read everything and the support over here is so appreciated! And yep, I’m working on more lists for sure because 20 picks doesn’t cut it! Thanks for the suggestion. And thank you again for this- it made me smile 😊 means a lot 💜

    I love the BloomEffects Royal Tulip Cleansing Jelly for makeup removal. It fully removes the Jones Road mascara, and that stuff is tenacious!

    I really enjoy the “then I met you” cleansing balm… the smell of persimmons and the feel of the product is a sensory joy I get from it plus it does really well to remove my makeup personally. Additionally, I love that it easily washes off with water. I don’t feel oily afterwards.

    Love the RMS eyelights as well. I have the shades Blaze and Spark right now. I tend use Blaze most often. I want to see the new shade Supernova in person; it looks like a slightly deeper neutral tone that I would enjoy.
    The EXA color correctors are really nice. A little goes a long way. The peach shade is about to come back in stock 😉

      Thanks for sharing! I’m waiting for the Exa correctors to come back in stock actually. Several people have mentioned that it’s a solid option. 💜💜💜

    You are the very first you tuber I’ve watched who has mentioned buying mini versions of mascara! I’ve carried that flag for years now because it eliminates the so frustrating and inevitable tar like gunk near the end of regular sized tubes. I tried, what I thought were brilliant attempts, to soften the gunk but to no avail….. every time. Can’t do the waste of hard earned money. Minis solved that mess.

    I really like the Plume eyebrow pencil in Endless Midnight. I'm a light/med complexion w/black eyebrows and that color works well. It's also refillable! I also love Eye of Horus. Sunday Riley has a good cleansing balm but it's pricey and honestly Asian skincare is where it's at. Best sunscreens hands down, gentle formulas and there are a lot of "green" & cruelty free options.

    • @BrittWitkin

      Oh I forgot about Eye of Horus! I used to really like that pencil but would go through it quickly. 🤷🏻‍♀️💜 thanks for these recos!

    Used to be a cleansing balm girlie. Loved the Drunk Elephant Slaai forever, then used Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt a bit. Switched to cleansing oils, they are better at removing makeup and especially SPF. The DamDam cleansing oil is the best bang for the $, but I recently tried a sample of the Rua Remove multi use cleanser, and it was fantastic!
    Thank you for this list! It’s great to see an honest favorites list, not one just riddled with new releases and sponsored content!

      If I could use the one love organics cleansing oil (something in there bugs my skin) I would do it. DAMDAM is a great option! I’ll check out Rua. Thanks for sharing! 💜

    I also LOVE the TB Ginger Turmeric Cleansing Balm. My other favorite, though, is the Live Botanical Ritual Cleansing Balm. I feel like they both have the perfect consistency for facial massage. I can’t decide which I prefer. However, I use them exclusively in the shower. I don’t like cleansing balms for removing makeup because they are so thick that they often can irritate my eyes. For makeup removal I prefer Live Botanical’s Nourishing Cleansing Oil or True Botanical’s Nourishing Cleanser. Wow, those two names are so similar!

    • @BrittWitkin
      @BrittWitkin  7 місяців тому

      Googling Live Botanical! Thanks for sharing this. Also, why am I not cleansing in the shower? No joke- I didn’t even think of this lol. Thanks!

    I like the Juice foundation and i like the bb cream too. My only problem w/ the foundation is that it is messy (leaks) I recently discovered the Gensee liquid eyeshadows. Those are fun. The Saie blushes are great too. I do want to try the MOB cream foundation and the cake liner soon.

    I like squalane cleanser from the ordinary. Usually follow it up with a cream or gel cleanser (i like first aid beauty cream cleanser) or Micellar wipes if i am using it to remove makeup. Would love your take on it.
    Also, do you review any primers? Would love to know your skin prep routine for the juice phyto foundation. I have such a hard time fine tuning the moisturizer/primer/foundation combo so things sit right on my skin.
    Thanks for all that you do!!!

      Love the idea of sharing my favorite skin prep for foundations and really anything I put on. Sometimes it’s a bit more extensive, sometimes not. Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve yet to really get into the ordinary 🤷🏻‍♀️ but if I do, I’ll report back here 💜

    • @BrittWitkin
      @BrittWitkin  6 місяців тому

      Oh and I hardly ever use primers. I’ve tried 100% pure and liked it, but really never reach for them. It’s the prep that acts as a primer for me!

      hey! oh yes, I've tried plenty of Jane Iredale. You can search reviews on the channel. I've fallen off their PR list so haven't been testing as much, but it's hit & miss for me. I did like this foundation, the prices were super high though: ua-cam.com/video/sdsmk2odmMU/v-deo.html

    I like your reviews, however, wish you were reviewing clean products. When I look up on EWG the products for which you have provided a positiive review, some of them are rated as high as 5. It's really difficult to find a GOOD clean product which is EWG varified or at least EWG rated 1, 2 or at the most a 3. You already know that some of the products which claim they are clean are really not clean. If they are clean they are not very good/effective. Could you please do a review on CLEAN products please? TY.

    • @Nima_1993
      @Nima_1993 5 місяців тому

      That’s literally what she’s been doing for years… besides, EWG scores isn’t everything, for example most L’Oreal foundations are 2-3 on ewg and a lot of “clean” brands rate much higher (the ilia serum foundation is 4 for instance, so it’s “worse” than Loreal)
      As long as clean beauty isn’t defined legally it’s a matter of preference and choice.
