I’m pretty happy with this blanket due to the fact it folds up to nothing and fits under my fridge slide and keeps my battery topped up easily when I want to chase the sun…. Just need more battery storage now 😂
They are the biggest con! And people doing videos that really have no idea trying to justify why they spend $800. They have done some tricky series/ parallel cell connecting in these panels to get 16amp but the trade off is the voltage which is lucky to get to 15v. So they're never going to make good power for long! I feel sorry for those who don't do the research and waste a lot of money!
@@SeekAndExplore4x4sorry, just saw the correction to the solar regulator in your clip. I’ve found my blanket works brilliantly with the PWM controller anyway and I’m about to put a Redarc DC to DC charger in my van which has the MPPT controller built in
Kinda wish I never bought a blanket now, the output and cost per watt just isn’t there comparable to a portable folding panel. Thanks for the review.

@@SeekAndExplore4x4 I ended up buying a eco flow 220w panel which I’ll use on the longer trips.
@dimech007 I haven’t seen them before. Are they anygood?
@@SeekAndExplore4x4 do a bit of homework on them mate, they are easily the best option out there IMO.
Thanks for the tips!

So what would you recommend for camping?
When did you buy yours? Sounds like I’ve been ripped off, I’ve just bought one and it only came with a PWM controller.
Got mine about 9 months ago
@@SeekAndExplore4x4 And it definitely came with an MPPT controller back then?
