Joe is best guitarist out there. King of the Blue Rock. Missed Gary. I hope Gary watching from the above. Joe executed Mid Night Blue very beautiful and he blew me away. I has been following more 6 years. He was hardest working guitarist and he was better and better. Now he is one of the greatest guitarists in the world.
Joe’s the hardest working man in music, and has been for quite some time. A relentless tourer, and always delivers. He’s also had Kirk Fletcher on second guitar, and now has Josh Smith - a tremendous talent as well!
Kirk and Josh are remarkable talents in their own right. I wonder what it must be like to have them in the back line. Joe is one of the few that would make the pair work for their supper. BTW, this is a sterling performance which I last witnessed during the Tour de Force gigs.
Every band should have a backup guitarist like Josh Smith....a 'monster' in his own. Great tone by joe. There was just that magic Gary had that is so missed.
He's like no other guitarist alive. His interpretation of other people's work is close to perfection. He just flirts around there music. He's a genius and will be there for years to come Better get used to him.
"Get used to him"? He's 45 years old. He opened for BB King when he was 12 years old. I just discovered him a year or two ago. One of the absolute best.
Got tickets to March 8th at the Sanger theater in New Orleans. I'm bringing 5 friends that have not seen you before. I would love for you to play this Gary Moore classic and Sloe Gin. Who Killed John Henry would be nice too. The Just got paid melody would be the pinnacle.
I've seen Gary Moore three times; everytime you saw him play live, you went home with a complex. A complex that thought you: I could never be that good ;-) Gary was a master, in rock, in metal, in jazzy solos and in blues. His accuracy, his speed, his feel for melody...
Yes! We've been fans for a while also. Really great to finally get to see him live in concert!
This was just my iPhone 13 Max. Doesn't handle the bass well, that's for sure. Probably the best thing that phone will ever have the chance to record. Joe really delivered on this song.
Saw him last night in Hampton NH. Incredible! Does anyone know the name of the backup singer on the left? I found the other two, but I can’t find out her name.
@@dafunk39 Carolyn Leonhart is who I was thinking of. Probably not her. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolyn_Leonhart&ved=2ahUKEwih1OSa7sv5AhVyD0QIHcKEAdwQFnoECC8QAQ&usg=AOvVaw0DdxOczkAx9DR-l0e1RQ5L
Not the biggest Joe Bonamassa fan, but wow did he slay this song. Wondering why he didn’t mention Gary Moore having written it? Maybe we missed the intro.
I don't think he had talked to the audience yet at that point. Probably the third song of the night. I went back and listened to Gary's "Still Got the Blues" album on the way home that night. One of the first CDs i bought back in 1990. Such a great record - every track - definitely a classic.
Yes! I didn't realize he was touring with Joe these days. I guess they are co-producing albums together these days, also. Joe introduced him as "The best guitar player on this stage". He took a couple of solos and crushed it.
I wish hed learn to sing..., its soo frustrating to hear such fingertipstuff n then : vocalsnuthinness.....and Lots of black singers "blacking one up.....
Keepin' the Blues Spirit alive, good work, Joe. Cup your ear, go on, can you hear it? Gary approved this message.

When the guitar 🎸 begins to weep in the hands of a music- obsessed soul-masters… then it’s the blues !
Every band should have a backup guitarist like Josh Smith....a 'monster' in his own. Great tone by joe. There was just that magic Gary had that is so missed.
That is one of the best versions of this tune I’ve ever heard. Even had goosebumps on goosebumps. Thank you Joe.
It was SO great! Probably my favorite tune of the night.
Hope he doesn't go with the other greats.
Only Gary does it better (did it) RIP Gary, rest in paradise.
Always on the road or on the ship or in a truck, and moving around to satisfy his fans. Plays his heart out ❤️🎸🎤🤗
Thanks Joe...I like the passion in your music 🎵🎵
Out of this world, indeed! 💎💎💎🦚🥳🙋♀️💕🙏🇷🇴🦚💐💐💐🥇🎉
I loove Joe Bonamassa🎸💎

nice! with Calvin Turner from New Orleans on the bass! YYR!
Really miss Gary, but Joe this is killer! Thanks man!! Much Love =R=
Always a super great gig. Seen them here in 18 also. Joe Rocks!
Hooray...never a lost tone and always to bring ya there! JB is brilliant! Thanks for all the excellent music over the years!
Talented guitarist!!!!! All my respect!!!!!!!!!
You are the BEST
Great guitar sound!
He's one of the best!!!
Lucky child, born for the blues. Unusual and charismatic, I'm rediscovering him❤🌹.
This is the best I have heard Joe do, however, I was lucky enough to see Gary do this live a few times which imho can not be beaten

Gary was a master, one of a kind. His version of "The messiah will come again" live 1990 is one of the best guitar performances ever.
I like you, and your band.
Good lock
Great performance
Nothing to be said really nothing to be said !! Well other than F...KN BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautifully shot, amazing resolution
Thank you!! I keep trying to get good video at a show. Finally this one turned out ok. (Good seats help…)

Super,legend guitarist ❤️🎵🎶🎼🎸✌️👌🇮🇱🍀
Amazing
Wow…it’s up there with Gary’s version. He is a incredible guitarist and singer.
When will we hear
Something original?
I love Joe….he’s a smooth cat 🎸🔥

great version💖🤩thank you so much. I love JB when he plays the Blues🙏
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. Happy to share such a great performance.
Awesome
Rock that 59' Joe!! Just like Gary did with Greeny, keeping the blues alive.
Great Gary Moore sound nailed it Joe!
just watched gary moore play it live this is good but not in the same league as gary moores song.
Buenísimo 👏👏👏❤❤❤
Yeah...❣️
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
♥️😎♥️🎶🎶🎶❤️
I saw my 1 time at the Boston
Nice...
My main music style is the blues 💙....I learned by myself by only using the internet....
sorprendente
Gary Moore inspired!👍🙏❤️
C'est le plus grand
Nice that he’s more fully embracing Dumble tones these days. Not many guitarists are in a position to authentically lean into them
I didn't know Bonamassa had some bandmate changes. New Bass player New Drummer
Sadly Michael Rhodes his long time bassist had been ill and he passed away on 4th March 2023 at age 69. Sad days.
Regards Paul
I can’t find any of the band members names other than Josh Smith, backup singer Jade McRae and Reese Winans HELP!
Жека
The dynamics here lose a little in the bass but overall are very good. Better than many Hi-Fi recordings. What did you record this with?
This was just my iPhone 13 Max. Doesn't handle the bass well, that's for sure. Probably the best thing that phone will ever have the chance to record. Joe really delivered on this song.
That his Robin Trower imitation?
Was there second row over by Reece
Such a great show! Glad i got decent tickets for once. Must see him again the next time around!

Is it the linhart gal from Steey Dan?

Just saw him tonight in Reno and he didn’t play it, 😢
Not to say the show wasn’t amazing since it was!
Not a patch on Gary!! 😥
Josh Smith

Joe is good but a little predicable
Not bad for a kid with a used guitar
Joe you got to give blues lessons to Keith Richards and the clown Ron wood
Blues is the music of poor people. Why is this outstanding guitarist acting like a banker? Only an American can do that. Who is he playing for?

Hmmmmmmmm ….. that’s just noodling man…….
just good guitarist but nothing special.
How did this mediocre player and singer get famous? I don't get it. Anybody can do what he does, but they don't because it's silly.
Awesome
