Written by Pauly Fuemana and Alan Jansson and performed by OMC - Otara Millionaire’s Club - ‘How Bizarre’ was released in 1995 as the hit of the summer. Reb’s version will be the anthem of our winter; a poignant retelling that shares this iconic track in a whole new light.

Sing Along Here:
Brother Pele's in the back
Sweet Zina's in the front
Cruisin' down the freeway in the hot, hot sun
Suddenly red-blue lights flash us from behind
Loud voice booming
"Please step out onto the line"
Pele preaches words of comfort
Zina hides her eyes
Policeman taps his shades
"Is that a Chevy '69?"
How bizarre
Destination unknown as we pull in for some gas
A freshly pasted poster reveals a smile from the past
Elephants and acrobats, lions, snakes, monkeys
Pele speaks "righteous," Sister Zina says "funky"
How bizarre
Ooh, baby
It's making me crazy
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
It's in my face
Ringmaster steps out, says "The elephants left town"
People jump and jive and the clowns have stuck around
TV news and cameras, there's choppers in the sky
Marines, police, reporters ask where, for and why
Pele yells, "We're outta here," Zina says, "Right on"
Making moves and starting grooves before they knew we’re gone
Jumped into the Chevy, headed for big lights
Wanna know the rest? Hey, buy the rights
How bizarre
Ooh, baby
It's making me crazy
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
It's in my face
It's in my face
Ooh, baby
It's making me crazy
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
It's in my face
Ooh, baby
It's making me crazy
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
Every time I look around
It's in my face
Singing this song at the end of June at a friend's event; this just inspired the hell out of me
🚬😎🎸 What an epic version.
This combines my love for the sound of Reb Fountain with my nostalgia for the "90s and is a 12/10.
This is sick. Your voice sounds great and I dig the jacket, the shades and the cig. ♥
Wow!!! Just wow!!!! 😯
Song was written and sung originally by a kiwi (New Zealander) 1980s
RIP Pauly Faumana
Yes cool wow
sounds like a lost lou reed song...
Sounds like OMC - how bizarre. It came out in 1995, I was 23 years old… I’m 51 now in 2024. Look it up… OMC How Bizarre. You’ll be thankful. The original talent behind this song died young, but left us with some amazing songs. Enjoy!
Such a rad jam no doubt OMC
It's a 1995 song by OMC, a New Zealand group.
Awesome cover version 👏👏👏
Beautiful version. 😎
Reminds me of Last Great American Whale. Beautiful
PRECISELY where I was going to, and yep. Gorgeous.
👀🐇🙏🥰
Her voice is so clear and in a strange way makes me understand the original more.
so Velvet Underground!
Superb cover 💫
Ive been listening to you since that mashup you did with Amanda Palmer. You have a beautiful and powerful voice. Keep it up!
Great work
Excellent cover, beautiful voice
Nice work Reb
nice work!
You go, Reb! 💫
Smoking kills
Paulie would be proud
OMC! For sure proud!
What a sweet sound……
God this is so cool.
Cool
Whys the cover better?
It's isn't. This is just a great rendition of a great song
"Out here in the fields"
Love this, but there's too much cigarette smoking so I can't show the video to my kids in class.
Show them the original version - OMC how bizarre.
@@rickm3779 this is a nice interpretation of Pauly's song.
Disgusting. Rip Pauly, don't deserve this
Nah, I think my brother would have enjoyed this...
OMC How Bizarre. Have a listen to the original.
Lou would be proud
Very strange cover
Brilliant Version .... but ....make a new video . This doesn't fit.
Spiritually or contextually
I thought this was the original ua-cam.com/video/az-Op_d2V3s/v-deo.htmlsi=qYuEJDsMq4RerZbt
I'm sorry I really wanted to like this but it has none of the joie de vivre of the original or any of the groove. But the real killer is that it looks like it is sponsored by a tobacco company. Smoking has never been cool despite those 50's posters.
But Winston Peters said it was cool again and goes down well with a gambling addiction!
Even the tired cliche ciggy?
