I am now instilling Praise and Play with my cat. (1 Year Old) Instead of treating her every time I go out the door and return, now we play together.
the ONLY thing that worked with my three year old Akbash is play and praise play and praise turned my distant and stubborn Akbash into a lovebug who insists on sleeping by my bed

I really like what you’re saying, but can you show us with your dog can you take your dog down a busy street like New York City without a leash? Can you take your dog to a strange area where there’s a lot of distraction of birds other dogs kids running and playing and call your dog and have your dog come straight to you or do you think that’s dangerous and your dog might not come so you would never attempt that but you’re saying if you have the correct relationship your dog would wanna be with you but are you saying only when the dog wants to be with you? I’m just a little confused
You must have seen my dog(s) in my videos out and about and my dog is always by my side. For instance, in the beginning of this video, ua-cam.com/video/9DdCSzs0SGQ/v-deo.htmlsi=7Dr91FxRuuwCFI7T you can see that Annie is just hanging around me without any leash and we are in an open area that is some people and some activities happening around. The idea is that you or I ( a dog owner) need to be the most important part of a dog's life I mean the most to my dog and if there are distractions, my dog notices them and interacts with them but when I ask her to not interact with them or be by my side, she does love to be by my side not because she is forced to but because she wants to be. She loves me too much and I do love her too. I am the best thing that has happened to my dog that is because I have used play and praise to reward and interact with her (not treats). This method of dog training has allowed us to create a great relationship which has impacted our training, our expectations, and the results that I need to get from her and visa versa.
That is correct. (Great) Hunters for instance, they need to have a great relationship with their dogs because not only the dog needs to work off leash but also maybe retrieve the pray and in some cases defend the hunter.

Is this some thing that you could do with your dogs to show us or do you not feel as though that’s a safe thing to do with your dog because maybe they would not stay with you but I’m not sure that’s why I’m asking you to show us
In the very beginning of the video Annie just walking towards the camera. Why do you need to watch me off-leashing my dogs in distractive areas? What good it will do for you? What are the benefits to you?
Yes, almost everywhere there is a leash bylaw that you should have your dog on leash at all places unless the off leash dog parks.
