It wouldn’t be complete unless I saw you reading Murakami at 3am in an all night cafe through a glass darkly. That’s how I found your channel, by the way, looking for reviews of Murakami. Stayed because of the great cinematography.
I've been trying to think of how to describe the kind of warmth this video has and I've decided-- this video is fresh baked bread. With honey. That probably doesn't make sense but my brain likes metaphors loll
멋진 소개였습니다~^^ As a native, I would like to thank you for kind guide on Seochon. It is quite rare for foreigners to introduce here for foreigners while Koreans to do it quite often. very impressive and lovely guide. Thank you!
Hi there Cari, this I think is one of your best videos, it shows everyday life in the neighborhood, power lines everywhere, rustic buildings, and just an overall feeling of relaxation without a lot of ultra-modern buildings. May I suggest something . . . how about showing a map with a circled area where your walking so that it's easier to google map where you've been. I don't need a map because I can google map using your links in the description box, it's just a bit easier that's all.
I’ll put Seocheon at the top of my list for my next Korea trip! I love that you focus on quaint little cafes...it’s one of my favorite things about Seoul!
Wow, I walk down those streets very often, and the way you capture the surroundings and artifacts is amazing! Seeing those familiar things in a new perspective really makes me look at those things again. Thanks a lot, Cari! Please keep up the creative works. I became a huge fan of your channel.
i'll be studying in korea next year and i already have a list with all your recommendations!!! I'm not the biggest clubbing fan so your videos show me that there is so much more to Seoul🥰💕
As always a lovely video that fills me with warmth and homely feeling! Can't wait to visit Korea and see all these places in person, thank you for taking us around ❤️
I'm a bit jealous that you guys in Seoul can go out and enjoy life as always before. In Europe it is much more complicated at the moment and I'm really struggling mentally because I've been at my house for more than half a year! Hopefully 2021will be better especially bc I'm going on an exchange to Spain and hope to make some videos there and finally live lol 😭
Korea really aren't joking around with their cafe game. All of the places you featured was aesthetically pleasing and exudes a calming typa chill vibe. Love to visit them one day ! Another great vlog cari 🥺🥰
I have been suffering from an excruciatingly painful shoulder/arm injury and I’m finally catching up on tons of your videos. They’re so well done, beautiful, and calming. Thank you for bringing some peace and joy to my life. Stay safe! 🧡
This was probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I was overcome by longing and fascination. Going to religiously watch all your vlogs now. Thank you for taking me along.
I truly love your videos. There's something so calming about it with the music, and coffee shops, and food and museums and your travels. I love it! I also love the beaded holder that's attached to your mask. Smart! :)
The bookstore was also where IU took her album cover for her “A Flower Bookmark” released in 2014! So glad I finally know the name of this place. Will definitely visit once travel restrictions ease next year or sth. Love from Singapore!!
I'm so grateful I'll have the opportunity to live in Seoul next autumn on exchange, it looks like the best season to visit in and these videos make me so excited!
looks like sundae is very similar to brazilian chouriço and it got me really excited that countries from literal opposite sides of the world share some typical dishes
UA-cam algorithm brought me to your channel and I am so glad I found you! I live in Paris currently, we've been locked down on and off almost a year and I was so depressed that I couldn't go back to Korea this summer. At least I get vicarious satisfaction through your video 😭
9:15 that white plastic tote! Oooh, you could get some different fabrics and line it for rotating pops of colour... Also, yay for that sassy bakeshop and pan-fried ricecake.. drool!
Thank you so much for this Cari, a much needed escape, for those of us in the UK, from the misery of a second national lockdown and a looming no-deal Brexit. A lovely escape to Seoul for 17:49 minutes!
Your intros latelly have been very cinematic with the narration. I feel like I am watching a movie. It's nice seeing you walk around while I am in my second lockdown and the weather is dark and gloomy.
Thanks so much for this video! I love coffee, books and Seoul’s old neighbourhoods. I can’t wait for my next visit to Seoul to check out these recommendations!
The aesthetic of this neighborhood is out of this world!!!!! Gonna visit this place soon for sure!! And cariiiii tbh your videos give off that certain kind of healing vibes --- similar feeling whenever i look at namjoon's photos!!! I always feel so refreshed after i watch your videos. Much love!

I absolutely can’t wait to go back for my fifth visit to Seoul after this pandemic. There’s still so much to see! Thank you so much, Cari, love your mask! ☺️
I lived in Seoul for 7 years and used to designing clothing and this allowed me to "volunteer tour guide the palaces" since as you know technically the visas only allow for certain things. Even volunteering for church activities or tour guiding was not allowed when I was there in Seoul from 1995-2003. Anyways technically its not Gwanghwamun then Gyeongbokgung but Heungnyemun then Geunjeongmun then the courtyards. Actually it was amazing when I arrived all that area that is now the reconstructed palace was the Japanese Imperial General office turned into National Museum and to see the return to its original beauty is amazing. Even every annual trip back to Seoul (minus this year cause of C-19) I make it a day stroll to walk through the palaces and Seochondong and end up in my old office neighborhood of Insadong. Love your videos!
a cup of coffee looks like such a wonderful place! they were playing haenim by kim jung mi on the record player, such a lovely song :') really loving your videos
Hey Cari!! Just here to say that I had a wee break from your channel but am SO HAPPY that I've started watching again- missed the happy, carefree feeling your videos gave me.... now... TIME TO BINGE :D
My heart literally hurts watching this vlog because I wish so badly being there with you, specially in this beautiful autumn 🥺 I'm all sighing here... My country doesn't have each season separated in this way and this visible, so I hope one day I can experience this amazing change of the seasons ♡ I'm binging your vlogs and loving it so much, your tastes are wonderful ♡♡
I love your videos ❤ love to watch you walking/hiking and loving the charms of the place you live, beautiful cafes, beautiful culture, tasty looking food, one can almost taste and smell, charming streets, majestic historic architecture, golden hour autumn foliage 😍 all so magical.
I used to pick up gingko from Kyung Bok Goog when I was young. I guess this reveals how old I am. I did not know how beautiful the palace was then. I was just anxious to roast gingko nuts and roll them over sugar to eat them. Wow, soooo..... long ago.
This is my favorite area in Seoul! My last day in Seoul before I moved back to Europe I spent the entire day here. And omg I miss Scoff😭😭 luckily I’ve managed to recreate that orange upside down cake
gyeongbokgung palace open at night during 9/16~12/18 but not for everyone you have to make reservation(but if you are foriegner or over 65years old, you can buy ticket offline). It's famous date course in korea definitely recommend it to you!
Ah... another great vlog!. Watching your vlogs feel like having a warm bowl of tasty soup on a cold rainy day wearing your favourite fluffy jumper and fluffy socks, sitting near a fire place in a cabin in the woods..... okay I got CARIed away... 🤭😂💖
I’m making my friends watch your videos so we can come in the autumn season to Korea! So, please corona, go away so I can plan my next vacation!! And, as always, thanks for this chilling vibe, that’s really helping me to control all those weird feelings that we have in quarantine.

We have so many great writers like pak koung ri and pak wan seo.
