    I am trying to get my boss to get me this one. Looks awesome. It will be a nice upgrade from the cheap 8 bit ones I've been using. Thanks for showing it off to us.

      Hello Matt. Hey, good luck with that my friend. Tell him that it’ll only increase your speed and productivity. It is a really nice scope. I really don’t think there’s anything better out there for under $1,000. Not that I have found anyway. I wish you luck. Let us know the outcome. Thanks for visiting the channel.

    This is a nice piece of equipment for the price. It's gotta be close to being on par with the Pico 4425A. Thank you for this video!!!!!!!

      Hey there Dale. That’s the truth. I can’t find another scope (especially a tablet scope) that comes anywhere close to the Micsig, more less better for under $1,000. The only other scope I would even really want, other than the Micsig, would be the ATS (Automotive Test Solutions) eSCOPE ELITE. Either the 4 or 8 channel. That’s a pretty cool scope. Only they are proud of them bad boys. Even the eSCOPE Elite 4 (4 channel) costs $2,925.00. You can also get them mounted to a Surface Pro Tablet. Again just add money, because that sweet set up will set you back $4,925.00. That’s just a little more than the Pico 4425A with the advanced kit. Don’t get me wrong I would love to have the new Pico 4425A also. I know some people mount the Pico onto a tablet too. ATS also has a pretty nice scan tool. The eSCAN ELITE. It has some really cool tests and a nice setup. Can also have them mount it on a Surface Pro. They can set you up with both the scan tool and scope onto a single Surface Pro Tablet. That would be the shit to have, but I don’t think I can convince my wife on that one, lol. The only thing is, I do not believe the eScan has bi directional capability, so that sucks. I could be mistaken. Anyway, not sure why I took you down the ATS rabbit whole, in the comments of my Micsig Video. With all that said, I am really liking this new SATO from Micsig. As you said, it’s a nice piece of equipment. Especially for the price range. Thanks for stopping by the channel.

    Can FD stands for Can Flexible Data. Now the bandwidth is up to 8Mbits/s instead of 1Mbits/s with the old CAN

      Hey thanks for that. I was unaware of that. I have yet to have to diagnose that. I appreciate the info; it is always appreciated. I am here to learn, and I’ll never know everything. At least I hope I never know everything. Thanks for stopping by the channel, and dropping a little knowledge on me.

      Thank you CJH AUTO SOLUTIONS. I really need to add another table to it. It is way over crowded, and I already have some other equipment I would like to put on it. I’m thinking 1 more table (maybe one of those gamer tables with a shelf), and add a few shelves on the wall over the tables. Thanks for stopping by the channel. I always appreciate any feedback, positive or negative.

    Thank you for the video, will pico amp BNC+ connector work with this scope? Thank you

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  Рік тому

      Hello Sargon. Yes, the Pico amp clamp with BNC connector will work with the different Micsig scopes. I have the Pico High Amp clamp and Pico Low Amp clamp, both with BNC, and they work great with the Micsig scopes. Any accessory with a bnc connector should work with the Micsig scopes. Thanks for watching, and a special thanks if you have subscribed. I’m 10 subscribers away from being able to get paid for my videos. That will allow me to buy more equipment to show on the channel, to make more videos.

    Thanks for all the information. Just got one and I went into the car menu but now I am stuck in that menu, how do I exit out back to just a scope. My version is 1.10.156 and is different then yours.

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  4 місяці тому

      If you’re stuck in the menu, you should be able to just back out. Maybe try pressing the home button, or if you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then press back. Or try pressing the automotive preset button again. Unfortunately, I don’t have my scope with me at the moment. I’m just going off of memory. I’ll confirm it tomorrow for you. Also, I just now saw your question. My apologies it took so long to reply.

      Also, you should be able to just tap “OK”, and should go back to the oscilloscope screen. If that doesn’t work, you should also just be able to tap towards the right side of the screen, on the oscilloscope screen. If none of that works, I would try resetting it.

      Hey that’s awesome Bruce. I just got mine, and I’m still learning my way around it. There are differences from their previous automotive scope that I’m still learning. With that said I really really like it, and I’m sure you will too. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask me, and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability.

    Very helpful. Do you know how to revert back to the normal (non-automotive) oscilloscope mode?

    • @atomsworkshop195
      @atomsworkshop195  4 місяці тому

      I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking. The automotive presets just set the time base and the voltage (or amperage), and maybe the trigger. So if you click on one; as soon as you start changing either of them, you are basically back to normal mode. I hope this helps. I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly. Let me know if this helped or not. Thanks for watching.

      Hey I really appreciate that my friend. I’m no expert at anything, just trying to show others what it can do. Before I bought my first Micsig there wasn’t a lot out there on it, so I figured I’d make a couple videos on it, and that turned into more and more videos and more scopes, lol. Thank you, and thanks for watching.
