Yes… that unique melody with old sweet sorrow grips you emotionally and takes you step by step higher and higher.. for me A Latimer been the one for 32 years.. wonderful
Thank you so much for this fabulous crystal clear rendition of my all time favorite 🐫 tune. As a brand new fan from the 🇺🇸, I must say that if not for the algorithms I probably STILL wouldn't know of them which would be a damn shame
I played an old b&w war movie for the g-boys once at least 10 yrs ago & the next weekend when they came back over they asked me if that movie was color. I said no, it was b&w. That movie was so good they thought it was color. lol : )
Andrew Lattimer , though subtle and not flashy, is absolutely one of the best rock guitarists ever. That clean tone starting at 1:23 is just phenomenal. All you guitar geeks know what I mean.
Many many years ago....must have been 1975 I was lucky to be in RAH watching and listening to Snow Goose live together with LSO. It affected me much enough to be a Camel / Latimer Fan ever since this magical moments. And probably if I will be asked in the moment of saying goodbye to this wonderful world, which musician has touched my soul deeply... the answer will be Andy....thx for having overcome your desease...long live ... sorry for my english
Just really discovered Camel, this week and they are an excellent prog rock band! Never heard their name pop up much, so I guess they never got the credit they deserve!
@@eliotness374 Wow nice! What are they like? Nice guys, I hope! Musicians usually are, but some are full of them selves and stuck up and show offs! b You know what I mean, dude, right? Have yourself a good one!
That has got to be Kit Watkins on keyboards. I'm a huge Happy The Man fan which is where Camel found him. His keyboard sound is very recognizable. I like this Pink Floyd-esque track.

Snow Goose hooked me, loved them ever since. The best, I can never get enough.
Somos privilegiados aquellos a los que nos enamoraron con su música. Vivimos perpetuamente hechizados. Los llevo en el ❤ desde los 70.

I also met them recently and it is a pity that they are little recognized

Super.
Perfectly
They got some credit, but not what they deserved. There were not commercial composers however they were in the musical charts many, many times.
Epic!!
Just wow. I remember listening to camel in the 70s at there peak. Is there a more melodic Rock guitarist than latimer.? I think not.Brillianr tone.
Seeing from the views here, not too many people know them!
