Nice, but presented too fast. Causing Mental overload. There should be a few seconds pause so one can look at the kanji a little more.

Thank you for your feedback. I will keep the speed issue in mind for the video, especially for beginners. Adjusting the playback speed might help but I know the voice gets perceptually strange.

Joytan App thanks for the reply. I think what I’m missing is a continue button, which you can of course not provide in a video. For instance, using Anki for learning vocabulary provides this: some example gets displayed, the user can think about it and guess the answer, and then hit the space bar or click on a button and it will provide the correct answer. This kind of functionality you would have to simulate by appropriate short pauses. For example: the video shows 上がる and 下がる while pronouncing both only in Japanese. Then comes a 2 second pause (possibly longer for difficult examples ) . The user then tries to guess the meaning, and gets the proper answer (in English) after that, again followed by a short pause, so the user can process the information. Only then it goes to the next example. Of course the video would become a lot longer. But people might also stand it for a longer time if they are challenged to guess answers. Otherwise this becomes quickly something that puts you to sleep 😴.
At any rate, what you have now is already pretty good, and I like it. Looking forward to more of this. Thank you for doing this.

Thank you for your suggestion. It would be great to integrate some of the Anki features into my video/service. I will work on it with my new website (still in beta) where you can watch my video with additional features (e.g. quiz). BTW, I know the Anki app very well since I'd once developed a desktop app which is briefly based on the code of the Anki app.
