Free Range Goose & Duck Raising Success or Failure?

  • Last year I separated our geese from our ducks cause the geese were eating the duck eggs. Now it's spring and the geese have gone full terminator mode protecting their clutch of eggs. I'm worried that the geese might attack the ducks while free ranging in our orchard together. Can they live in peace and harmony? Watch to find out. #geese #ducks #freerange #orchard

The ducks are having a party! Dexter seems to have claimed you as his own the way he clings and comes to you when called. I am sure Fozzy would be on your shoulder if he could get up there too! Molly and Olive are living in paradise and looking very, very content. As for those geese……… just wow 😯 Perfect filming! 😉

Haha I loved watching Benny hill, I’ve been trying to find that music from when they used to run around in super speed in the skits. Have a good one.

Yes, the fencing gets tangled. It’s annoying

Yeah it’s ok for a temporary solution but if you need to move it regularly it’s a pain.

Why don’t you keep the geese and ducks together in the same coop?

We did, but the geese started eating all the duck eggs 😆 so I built them the caboose.

Do you have a tick problem on your farm?

      I’m sure there are some, I don’t think it’s a problem though.

The day of filming it was exactly 25c. I was sweating in the orchard. Today it’s only 12c. 25c is 77f.

@Stanley Keith You're talking about Fahrenheit! 25c means celsius, and that's pretty warm.
