Midnight Run:Road Fighter 2 and Winding Heat featured this logo in 1995/1996 GTI Club also used a short version of this at the end of each game session.

Particularly, Konami had my attention and customer support when I knew Winning Eleven 2000: Medal He no Chousen. I had my 7 years old, I was taking out from the bath. Then my father and his friend from his company were installing the PS1 on the TV. Prontly, I've get into the videogame, and see the KONAMI Sports intro, and Jon Kabira with the "Wārudō sokka Jikkyō Winning Irebun: Nissei!" When I was on my 7, I never thought on Konami's intentions in other years. Hideki Hayakawa was the decay from Konami.
And they made it even worse by removing the banner in 2013. EDIT: Apparently Konami Sports Club (a Japanese fitness room owned by Konami) still uses this logo.

I really missed the old Konami logo. I hope they'll revive it at some point in the future, just like how Lucasfilm recently revived the logo for its gaming division (albeit in the form of one of its earlier incarnations, not the LucasArts version).

Konami has been doing well, recently. They are supporting their fans on Twitter and other places and releasing games again. Also there were rumors about supposedly employee abuse but that looks it was fake since Konami had won three years in a row a prize for taking care of their employees. Konami is still my favorite company and I am proud of they.
