Amazing! The video was super entertaining and i loved the whole story behind it. The basic reloading was interesting to see and your shooting from a tripod without a rear rest was superb! I'm amazed that this rifle shoots so well with a wooden stock. I bet it would benefit from a pillar and glass-bedding job but it would be a crime to do it as it has some historical and sentimental value. Also this video shows that even 4 MOA accuracy can be effective for a lot of applications to a certain distance. I really enjoyed this one :)
Great video. You made a video that was informative, interesting and fun, but most important, you had fun making it. After all, isn't that what this firearms hobby is all about? The enjoyment we get.
Thanks for a brilliant video with a beautiful rifle. The 50gr vmax bullets also turned out to work well in my old and battered 1954 BSA Hunter in .222 which produced a similar sized group to your vmax group when I attempted the 1MOA all day challenge. So I reckon it is well worth doing a detailed load development workup for the vmax bullet in your Dad's rifle. I suspect it will ultimately shoot smaller groups than 1MOA.

It's obvious that rifle has had a lot of love.
The pirate is smiling down upon you.

Thank you so much. Having fun is so important when you’re doing this. And I do enjoy the shooting sports.
