- EARTH’S BIGGEST MIRROR | Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia
In this video we explore more of the incredible landscape of Uyuni. We start off with a visit to the famous train cemetery before heading off to explore the worlds largest salt flat and even eat lunch right in the middle of it all, what a view!
We had no idea we’d be hiking around an island full of cactus’s in the middle of this huge salt flat, nature is incredible and this place needs to be seen to be believed. After marveling at the amazing scenery all day, Uyuni treated us to one of its famous sunsets over its watery mirror like surface and it was beautiful seeing the world famous biggest mirror on earth. If you haven’t been to the worlds largest salt flat, watch this video and get planning your trip there, it’s honestly mind-blowing!

A British couple from just outside London, England. We got married in 2018 and decided instead of a honeymoon we’d travel the world together. We saved money and travel points, quit our jobs, rented our house out and boarded a one way flight in 2020. We started this UA-cam channel to share our experiences with friends, family and anyone who plans to travel to the places we’re visiting. We leave TKT tips/facts in our vlogs and blogs to give information that we wish we’d had before visiting. We hope you find our content fun & useful :)

What a bucket list experience 🤩 love the fun footage on the salt flat 😅🤗 and it’s really cool how you could sit there and half lunch!
The train cemetery is also really cool, and a bit creepy 😅
It was crazy sitting out in the middle of the salt having lunch, definitely a bucket list day!
That was such a different experience! Not something you see every day!
Amazed at the ‘train wrecks’ & their history. The salt flats are amazing such a vast landscape of salt is unimaginable & those cactus island was certainly worth seeing! The landscape was really picturesque. Great to share seeing it with you. Thankyou.
The whole place is very cool to see, the train cemetery amazed us before we even got to the salt flats, it was a day full of wow moments!

What time of year did you go? Was this just 3 weeks ag9?
22:51 June 😊
We went in June but if you want the whole salt flat to be covered in water the recommended time to visit is between February - May. We loved getting to see both though.
