Disappointing comments from you about the observers at the lock. Who do they think they are, being ignorant and, gasp, asking questions. We've heard from you about how much you dislike people saying negative things about you, so perhaps you should think about doing unto others... If nothing else, it might be good to remember that they are taxpayers who likely fund the CRT grant, not to mention various improvements along the way.
I don't know who's video you watched Leslie but we never said they were ignorant. Everything we said was light hearted, I suggest you rewatch. Debbie prefers it when there isn't an audience because the gruelling chemotherapy left her with neuropathy so she has very little feeling in her feet and has taken a few tumbles in front of spectators. They, like me, are tax payers but unlike me, they don't pay in the region of £1100 per year to the CRT. I have added a CRT funding link, and as you rightly said they may in some way contribute to the upkeep of the canals. (Although we where on EA waters). The CRT received this year £52,600,000 from Defra grant funding so based on current data there are currently 32,200,000 tax payers in the UK (there was 7 at the lock), works in the region of £1.60 per person per annum. I'm a regular viewer, and know you quite justifiably don't like name calling, etc. To me, saying you don't like a whole class of people and saying they act like they've never seen a boat before doesn't qualify as light-hearted. That's pretty much equivalent to calling them ignorant. I'm saying you fell down on your usual high standards. I don't like crowds, either, but that's my problem, not the problem of people who are where they have every right to be.
My late husband and I have followed your journey from the start. We found your vlog to be entertaining, enlightening and so very enjoyable. Your relationship, like ours, is happy and genuine. Unfortunately he died suddenly in May with no health issues, no medications and no warning. I am picking up the pieces and trying to figure out just where they go. Being able to continue cruising the canals with you two is a bright spot in the evenings. I thank you sincerely for the time you put into the videos and especially loved the giggle fest. I laughed right along with you. It was healing for me. So a big heart felt THANK YOU ! xo Bonnie
So glad we could bring a little happiness to you at this difficult time, it brings tears to my eyes just trying to imagine what you must be going through right now. Hold onto those precious memories Bonnie❤️
Oh ignore everyone you two. You are delightful! You also have a right to feel however you want. You are not nasty & horrible. Just ban anyone who makes you feel bad...there's not enough time in life to give room for people who grizzle at you - move them on. Loved this video, your little 48 hour mooring looked gorgeous. I'd want to stay & enjoy it too Deb.
We like you guys and all your vlogs, from the very beginning. Youv'e never hidden any part of your story and seeing you both with tears of laughter was a real joy. You dont need a twinnings nor an explanation. Great vlog this week. Steve n Joan xx
Some people are far too judging about others, live your life for yourselves Not Others. Well sometimes it's good to push the "envelope", at least you've done that part. Enjoy your lives for your own needs and wants, not others restricted ideals. Be as you are. Looks like a lovely mooring, hope you enjoyed it. Enjoy your lives both.
Some people are just plain rude and nosey or interfering. Don't let them stop you from enjoying your life or your "spirits". It's not their business. They can always watch something else. The place you moored at for two days was gorgeous and the dogs certainly liked it too. Take care you too and keep those lovely smiles, always. Stay Safe.
You just found one of the prettiest places in Britain. Right for a barbeque or two 🙂 Love from Denmark (Please keep giggling - you are just funny when it happens)
Since when did it become a crime to be happy, I love you two giggling, I have got the the same inuendo sense of humour as you, carry on enjoying yourselves and I'll keep on enjoying your video's, you both cheer me up.🌞🌞👍🖐
Hello I love your vlogs I don't usually comment on anything but I felt for you when you said that others were annoyed at your laughing not for me adds to the fun and its natural. Don't let people dampen your spirit. To Debbie I'm a fellow cancer survivor 6 years good luck and health to you both x
I know there can be challenges throughout the year as a continuous cruiser (rain when you are cruising, snow, rain when you are cruising, heat, rain when you are cruising, wind, etc), but a mooring like this can make all that seem not so bad. What a lovely place!
You guys have no reason whatsoever to apologize for anything... Not to mention have a nip or a belt to round off the edges of a tough day. It's nice to tune in and be a part of your conversation as though I'm dropping in for a drink. Thanks for that! 🙂
Love you guys, have a couple of drinks on us and don't let those creeps dictate how you enjoy your day. I don't understand how people who find others enjoying themselves offensive. Just don't watch! Keep up the great work.
Hi Debbie & Mark, just wonderful to see your smiling faces! Don't let anyone take that smile off your face Mark...people complain to complain, I have to feel very sorry for them, they must be very unhappy! I was ducking while you were going under the bridges! 😊Wonderful drone footage, and a fantastic place to moor, looked lovely! Enjoyed the chat! Please give your beautiful dogs a pet for me, nice to see them having fun too! Thank you for sharing, take really good care of yourselves, stay well! Sending warm hugs 🤗🤗Lots of love Kathy x 💖
I have followed and watched so many narrowboat channels covering all the canal routes, and loved them ~ but I've fallen so in love with the fenland waterways you travel in these vlogs. I watch all your vlogs more than once. I know Cambridge and Ely well, and there's just something about the serenity and openness of the fenland rivers. I can well understand why you would think of buying a widebeam and settle into cruising the Eastern waterways; it's all so beautiful and timeless. The usual canal routes are so pretty, but so much busier, and so many locks. I could watch hours of this. Thank you. And, Debs, you look amazing. (NOT that you don't, Mark, but, you know... just very happy to see you both so well.x)
Such a crying shame that anyone could be offended by you both laughing, what a sad world some folk live in. I do not understand how anyone could ever be offended by anything you say or show on your videos, you are such a genuine couple and your videos are simply fabulous. Ditch the tea for a right nice pint Mark! 💐💐
Nix the tea, rather have the uncontrolled laughter that Mark is so good at! That last mooring was special, yes the canals are for everyone but sometimes it does look like you could use some alone time.
How sad that someone out there took offense to Mark's laughter. One should always enjoy a good laugh. Never let anyone take the joy out of your laughter. Life is far to short. You two are sunshine in a dark and dreary world. Keep laughing.
Oh my lord, you two make me laugh, as for the other week when you both had the fit of the giggles i was actually heehawing along with you. Loved the mooring, and ducking my head as you went under the low bridges. The footage of your puppers enjoying themselves was lovely. Take care x
@@welldeckdiaries5610 That was definitely your best vlog to date! Giggle fits are great! Ignore the naysayers you are a credit to the canals and brighten my day!
Brilliant vlog as ever- just absolutely love the pair of you and am so happy to have you back online. Sorry people were rude about you, I can fully comprehend how you feel Deb - I have a balance problem and sometimes I actually look as if I'm drunk the way I walk. Not a nice situation. Thanks for taking us on a beautiful cruise but Mark please don't listen to the weirdo's that don't like people liking "A Rite Nise Pinte", have a drink of what you like mate. Well done for getting to that fantastic mooring which you both enjoyed and the 'pups' definitely did. It's great to see that you are both doing well (and the pups). Take care and all the best. Stevie

This is why I started watching boating vlogs. Intrepid boaters with beer!!! This was a totally fun vlog which I think is one of your best. Just beautiful drone work. Debs you are looking so well. Thanks for your adventures.
lovely video ..what a lovely "lush" mooring ...it was nice to see especially when most of the country is scorched. Well done getting under those bridges. Stay cool 😎
Loved the video, when you was going under the bridges, I found myself ducking my head!! They were low, but thoughorly enjoyed it, love you guys 👦 ❤️ xx
When I saw you guys cracking up on the last video I had tears in my eyes laughing. It was so natural and contagious and now today I see from your video that someone got upset. Not to be rude to people with issues or anything, but that sounds like they were accusing you of being a dipsomaniac and quite frankly unless they are paying all your boat bills and everything else bar owning you, it's not their business.. 🙃 I love your videos. Please don't let that stop you being who you are.
Those low bridges reminded me of the time I took a hire cruiser under Wroxham bridge. It was a very tight fit. Needless to say that on the way back we had to pop into the local DIY shop for some replacement tv aerial cable. What a fabulous mooring spot you had there. Great video as always.
My favorite floating couple! Nice to see you. I enjoyed that great giggle in the past episode and I think anyone that took offense to it has the knickers in a bunch among other ailments that won't be mentioned . As they say, carry on!
So, so glad you guys are still leading the way, with all things constantly cruising…. Loved the Bedford bit and the twin viaducts at Bedford North Junction on the Midland Main Line! I’ve worked there a time or two! 😉🙏
That did look like a most excellent mooring. I'd prefer a place with no people too. Glad you made it under the bridges and got turned around. So close to the very, very end---but that was close enough. Just keep on having a good time like you do and laugh if you feel like it.
You both look healthy and happy, especially you Deb. Barford Old Mills mooring was the best. Aerial footage, the barbecue, the four legged furry children having a romp and the mooring itself.....really idealistic. Makes me envious, guys. Love what you do so stay safe and healthy. Take care. Hello mark and Debora, i saw your video aa great placend that's the main reason for me and Ruth doing and planning, not been easy for me in New Zealand but I will make. as will Ruth. I have bought a couple of quad copter's to bring over, and Ruth needs me there now. I saw some comments but don't let it bother you. You enjoyed the narrow boat dream and who wouldn't. God bless you both... John in NZ Kiaors to you both.

Glad you enjoyed it
Those low bridges reminded me of the time I took a hire cruiser under Wroxham bridge. It was a very tight fit. Needless to say that on the way back we had to pop into the local DIY shop for some replacement tv aerial cable.
What a fabulous mooring spot you had there.
Great video as always.
Ive seen boats rip things from their roof on the broads
My favorite floating couple! Nice to see you. I enjoyed that great giggle in the past episode and I think anyone that took offense to it has the knickers in a bunch among other ailments that won't be mentioned . As they say, carry on!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love being a gongoozler at Boulters Lock a Maidenhead on the Thames it's got terracing to encourage gongoozlers.
👍
So, so glad you guys are still leading the way, with all things constantly cruising…. Loved the Bedford bit and the twin viaducts at Bedford North Junction on the Midland Main Line! I’ve worked there a time or two! 😉🙏
Thanks
Your both looking really well
Thank you ❤️
nice to see you two again always a pleasure
Thanks ❤️
That did look like a most excellent mooring. I'd prefer a place with no people too. Glad you made it under the bridges and got turned around. So close to the very, very end---but that was close enough. Just keep on having a good time like you do and laugh if you feel like it.
Thanks ❤️
Another great vlog BUT........ I was offended by the herbal tea. Get a beer in your hand Mark.
🍺
🤣😂🍺
You both look healthy and happy, especially you Deb. Barford Old Mills mooring was the best. Aerial footage, the barbecue, the four legged furry children having a romp and the mooring itself.....really idealistic. Makes me envious, guys. Love what you do so stay safe and healthy.
Take care. A Canadian subscriber
Thanks John ❤️
Beautiful sunset over the Pyramid
GREAT MOORING 👍🏻 👌 👍🏻
Its been our fav one on this river
If you want to have a drink you do so, it's got nothing to do with anybody else, I cracked up on your last video, I enjoy watching your adventures 🍺🥂 David (ely)
cheers👍
Hello mark and Debora, i saw your video aa great placend that's the main reason for me and Ruth doing and planning, not been easy for me in New Zealand but I will make. as will Ruth. I have bought a couple of quad copter's to bring over, and Ruth needs me there now. I saw some comments but don't let it bother you. You enjoyed the narrow boat dream and who wouldn't. God bless you both... John in NZ Kiaors to you both.
When are you coming over?
Thanks. I haven't watch the video yet, but I just wanted to thank you for the content you put up. Our whole family looks forward to it.
You are so kind
What a lovely 😍 journey you took me on absolutely loved it ❤ 😀 love to you both xxxx
Glad you enjoyed it
I was ducking and diving while sitting in my recliner in Tennessee! Yikes - low bridges!! Good on you for picking up other folks litter. Keep on having fun and enjoy a cocktail for me.
