This helped loadz... Scored a fantastic goal with united, i got the layoff man (giggs) to do a driven shot.. it was about 40 yards out and it went straight in the top corner!

it really helps...the other day i was with all of my mates playing fifa..we had a big tournament
i was united...rooney brought down 42 yards out, on the right side of the pitch closest to the screen. ronaldo steps up, all my mates said i couldnt score....
BOOOM. straight in.

driven shots seem to work from below the 18 yard box off to either side because depending on the goalie they may just tip it and it will still go in or they will give up a juicy deflection waiting for your players to finish it off.

Well.. I was pretty good at FK before, or so I thought. Got some pretty good shots in. But after watching this I score from FK all the time! Mostly because of the 'drive fk'. Thanks a lot for this great & simple guide! :)

mate this is a really great vid thanks 4 putting it up ur tips hav helped me a lot. but to all those ppl asking how much power they should use its simple. like players such as adriano of inter milan, kolo toure, wayne rooney etc. they all have powerful shots so of taking a free kick with them no need 2 use a lot of power. and maybe u should press lb or for ps3 l1 to add that extra bit of power and technique. but the only thing that annoys me is that i hav trouble curling d ball.

in close distances, I like to use driven. Using Cristiano Ronaldo, I aim to the empty space of the goal, I aim to the space between the heads to the players, and I fill about 2 bars. It usually works.
