- A simple gameplay cinematic showcasing the Mig-21 Fishbed perform combat mission with Mig-23 Flogger in Syria.
Finally after so long, i bought the Mig-21 Module! I have to say, i fall in love with it immediately, a good breath of fresh air from constantly flying NATO aircraft. Thanks to some of the viewers comment that encourage me to take this leap of faith to learn this aircraft.

Incredible that the MiG name is known by every army, every country, in every language. All someone has to do is yell 'MiG!', and everyone understands what is coming. I love that you incorporated that into the cinematics!

was jsut about to say that! makes you realize how much music does for cinematic experience. I'd love it if mission makers could setup dynamic music to make the experience epic.

Super nice clip Rod! That perfect landing was probably the hardest part of that mission lolll! I fly the Mig21 in DCS and every landing makes me sweaty.

Good video, small rule of thumb at 0:33 you can see the windsock facing the same direction as the take off so you are essentially taking off with a tailwind which is usually not the way, take off against the wind
Thanks! The windstock was actually a placeable object. My bad that i didn't know it supposed be facing the other way around to show wind is blowing other way around

Mig 21 and Mig 23 modules when they come would actually work really well in a modern Syria map scenario.
Would love if the F16i Sufa didn't break integrity check. It's another fantastic mod for this scenario, high quality, sadly not approved by ED.
Yes, i agreed, saw a couple of video bout the mod, very nice mod. I have not personally checkout that mod yet. But let's see if i can think of a content with that mod in Syria.

How do you get that sound for the mig21's main gun? Or is it edited?
It's the sound ingame. Im using the Echo 19 Core sound mod. Im not sure does it change the gun sound as when i bought the module, i already have the sound mod enabled.
Got the core mod, but it didn't replace the gun sounds, but it did replace the normal sounds of the mig

Welcome back to DCS Comrade! Im loving every second! She is a real joy to fly, it is a good breath of fresh air from the modern NATO jets. I like this old school russian style aircrafts
Very nice visuals, especially with the attack runs. When I get back to DCS I think I'll ditch the overly complex F-18 and go Cold War era. Cheers.

Sadly no because there's no flyable fitters in DCS, there's an AI model but it looks real bad with low texture & polygon

0:54 Just realised. You're taking off with a strong tailwind. You should have taken off into the wind (from the oppositive direction).
