In order to get rid of frustration you can either elite tm the Pokémon OR wait until there is a shadow event to regular tm away frustration. These happen but no telling when but patience is a virtue

I have definitely done this before. When editing if you have audio further out the software will generate a black screen until the last audio file has played
You have... a few... math errors in your video. To get the percentage increase, you divide 15 by 300 (5%), not the other way around. Plus, the result that you posted at 9:48 is from dividing 300 by 315, which which will give the percentage difference between the totals if subtracted from 100%, but not the percentage increase.

Don't feel bad about it. I have an 87% Shiny Lugia, with 3 moves, that still wrecks peoples sh*t in the Master League.
It's not just about the Pokemons ability, but also the players ability to use it.
A legacy Groudon with FP is in the top 3 of PvPoke in the Master league for a reason.
Stats make a difference, but not the entire difference.
(Also, footnote, the reason I bring Lugia is because of Groudon lol..)

Have you ever made a video about catch rates comparing the differences between:
•Poke, great, and ultra balls
•Nice, great, and excellent throws
•Straight and curve balls
How much do these matter and do they make much of a difference?
He talked about catch rates in his recent Genesect throw guide. ua-cam.com/video/ckNpq6BhOZM/v-deo.html&t=544 It doesn't mention pokeball types since everyone uses the same ball in raids, but great balls are 1.5 times more effective than regular pokeballs and ultra balls are 2 times more effective than regular pokeball.s
In most of his excellent throw tutorials he breaks down rates for different throw types with a golden without and etc(at least the first few raid bosses that came out). Excellent curveball with a golden razz gives about a 10%ish vs the .1% we have at base if i remember right.
Lyon forgot to mention breakpoints for attacking Pokémon. I can’t explain it super well but if you look up breakpoint explanation on game press it gives a detailed rundown. Basically it is important to have as high of an attack iv as possible because that means you don’t need to level up the Pokémon as much since it will do the same amount of damage for a certain amount of levels.
Yea but shadow pokemon are ugly. And besides who wants to be THAT trainer who makes their pokemon suffer in pain for a boost in effectiveness. Sounds like bad luck to me. And that means less shiny Pokemon that i want.
Memes aside im sure niantic will nerf shadow pokemon soon. They are simply too strong for the slight disadvantage to their defense.

Why is it that people want 0% attack on a shadow?
What you are talking about is PVP only, and not pertaining to just shadow but all pokemon, having 0 to 5 attack and max hp defense allows a pokemon to tank enemy hits but also allows for you to have a higher potential for more charge attacks
Lower IV's, particularly low attack IVs, are anticipated to be good for PVP because you can power them up to higher levels, while staying under the CP caps. Such as 1500 cp
I ONLY max 100% and have maxed one 98%... i literally have no legendaries maxed but i do have a metagross, tyranitar, ivysaur, 2 gyarados 4* and maxed. I actually just got a 4* cranidos 😳😳😳
It may not be perfect, but I'm really happy with my 98% Double Legacy(PS/SB) Shiny Mewtwo (14/15/15). I was 5 mins late to an EX Raid, and somehow got em. So lucky lol..

I focus on 90% and above, and exceptions for shinies if they’re 89. I tend to keep them that way and only power up to 30 if they’re good, or 35 if they’re GOOD. I still haven’t maxed anyone up despite being level 40 cus of my stardust hoarding problem. 😂

When I lost hard to a shadow Arcanine with fire fang in GBL last season I instantly understood what the shadow hype was all about
Shadows are usually worse in PVP tho, this guy is talking about PVE (some Shadows are decent in PVP such as Victrebeel, true)

Dialga 15/15/15 deals 1 extra damage per Dragon Breath against a Dialga 14A/15/15. So, in this case it matters for a mirror match in GBL. For Raids, it's doesn't matter at all.
I honestly thought IVs matter the most in raids?

Hi i have a 98% shadow mewtwo. I would really like to know what would happen to the stats if I buddy boost it, seeing how as a shadow it has a 10% increase on attack and a decrease of 10% on defense? I truly am so curious to what happens to the stats
the stats go up 1 level, so whatever the difference between 39 and 40 was, thats about what you are getting from best buddy. Also keep in mind each power up is not a level, it is 0.5 of a level, so best buddy is essentially two power ups.

It matter for pokemon with a base atk lower than 80. However you would not use that as an attacker anyway. But for reference, that’s when the 15atk normal starts to be better than the shadow. Not to count the fact the shadow bonus stacks on top of your ivs, so a 5 attack shadow is getting 20% of those 5 points.

I typically only power up groups for raiding (use to raid 3-4 man high 90s ivs) and a handful for PvP (those r hundos mostly).
Since, the distance raids I've now gotten to power up anything I want. It's great
i regret purifying my 2 shadow tyranitars when i just recently returned to the game and had no idea about shadow pokemon mechanics 😂 i only saw theyre stats would increase after purifying and finally change frustration to a different move. RIP

You're not alone. Many underestimate shadows and on com day many people didn't think to not purify mewtwo. Hopefully there will be more in the future.

I think this video is a bit misleading since this only applies to PVE. Beware people, in PVP many NON-SHADOW Pokemon are actually BETTER than the Shadow versions!!! Don’t power up shadows willy nilly if you are into GBL unless you are SURE the shadow is better!! (Which often it’s not)
People really need to understand better how little the impact of IV's are. Especially depending on ur usage. There's plenty of video's where 12 att iv pokemon beat identical raid bosses in the same time as a 100iv. Maybe 1 or 2 seconds difference on longer 5 star raids, which gets fully compensated by having 10 or more people in the raid. As for pvp, it seems pretty simple to me too: Get yourself good pvp iv's for ultra and great league (you really, really don't need top 10 ranked iv's. there's ppl in legend rank with what's considered terrible iv's). As for master league: Yeah, i'd advise anything from 96-100iv. Lucky? bet you I power that. I managed to powwer up my 88 iv lucky moltres and 88 iv lucky shiny swampert for the same cost as 1 regular swampert or 1 regular moltres. they're both 12 att IV but consistently give me the 'most damage dealt' award. I also have 2 shadow machamps. one goes 15-13-13 and one goes 15-13-12. IT has 1 lower HP iv yet the difference when i look at the number is 0. Aim for the best you can get and don't rush powering up if 1) you don't need it now 2) there's a good chance you'll find better. But don't feel bad powering up pokemon in their 80 iv's especially with 15 attack. So a 98 or 96 really is, OCD aside, identical to a 100 pretty much... As for shadow: a 13-13-13 is a TON stronger than your 15-15-15 regular for PvE, so that's a no brainer to power up if you need it. The question isn't "should I power up this 89 or 91 IV pokemon", but: "Do I power up the regular version or the shadow version" (assuming you can only do 1 right now). When a pokemon isn't a top attacker in it's class, like articuno or zapdos, don't bother powering up those and go for the shadow versions right away, they're obviously much better. And lastly: power up whatever the F you want, the game is still supposed to be for fun.

(For raiding) my friends argument is that if the extra defense on a non shadow pokemon allows for 1 extra charged attack they think that means non shadow would be better, i already explained that the charge energy transfers over too the next mon when it dies from the raid mons charged attack. do they have a point or is shadow just strictly better for raiding?
Comparing 6 shadows to 6 normals isn't fair. It does not tell you how a single shadow moltres affects your team. Shadows are powerful because you can put in slightly more damage in less time. If you keep compounding this over and over with each shadow of course it's going to be God teir.
Ok deff makes more sense why ppl like shadow, BUT I still don’t understand how your listing moves on the shadow Pokémon when it locks you to one stupid one that stays aside only does 35? How do you get an actual move? You have to buy the second one?
Is that actually how it works? Shadow bonus on each Pokémon shows a 20% increase in attack power to the move damage. Has it ever been verified that the 20% is added to base stats?

@@sebastianthiagoacomatal9856 only way someone is 100% legit is they don't spoof, trade with spoofers, raid with spoofers (unless unknown to them) use multiple accounts, iv checkers, trackers or bots, (defit, sock trick, swing or other methods for hatching eggs), gotchas, auto taps for pvp. If that person does none of those yes you can be 100% legit. Mostly people have used these so most people might be 60-70% legit.

Looking for the stats on Calcy IV a level 40 100% mewtwo has ATT 248.9 DEF 155,7 HP 180 a 93% (14-14-14) has ATT 248.2 DEF 154.9 HP 180 and a 67% (10-10-10) has ATT 245 DEF 15.7 HP 177..... 1 Point of IV is not 1 point of stat !

.I watched this Video but I don't think I am going to apply this to my gameplay. I have 5Accounts who will attack T5 Raids together. On some occasion, other Players joins my Lobby but my 5Accounts alone can successfully win. My Pokemon are not 100% IVs nor Shadow. And they are not fully maxed out since these Accounts are just Level 35 to 37. I know I can win T5 Raids with Quantity and I will not enter a Battle where I cannot win.
If I a have a 15 iv attack shadow, for example mewtwo, to calculate the attack I have to:
(300+15) x 1.2 = 378 or
(300 x1.2) +15 = 375
which one is the correct?

Hey Billy. I'm not disagreeing with what you've put in this video, shadows are superior in terms of DPS. But the Genesect example you used may be confusing, as Moltres has a double resistance to Genesect's bug-type attacks, whilst Reshiram has a single resistance.
