Not so lucky to have friends to let me not have to power up to b able to low man everything. I only have 3g dust because I had a team of Mamos already maxed out
This works because the power up gives you health, moving the health from 0, and with a power up to 1-2 which brings it to life and all it needs after is a potion
I'm at 40k Stardust, Level 26 living in a village with only 2 Pokéstops which both are in an area with no internet connection.. I want to get up to around 100 to 150k stardust for now :)

I tend to spend my stardust. I’m constantly building it up then running low, but I use it pretty wisely most of the time. Remember you can always grind for more. Holding all the stardust theyve ever collected makes some players not as good as they could be. I’ve been powering up my mamoswines and glaceons instead of revives. I know that’s bad for stardust retention but they are helping do these low man rayquazas
Love the Tips. I preach the same things to local players. I think I sit at 8.8 mil. Been up to 12 and down to 4 PvPing. You missed trading though, lots of dust goes in trades I never turn down a friend in need.

The biggest tip to save stardust for Raiders, is to join an active group and have them carry you through the raids. Save your dust and power up slowly.
Billy Lutz - just saying instead of powering up an individual Pokémon or a small selection of counters specific to the current T5 boss (blowing all of your stardust) you gradually improve your whole lineup with the assistance of the community.
91 thousand dust and I want as much as I can get I power up cool things like 100% iv attack deoxys and a 100% iv ditto because it's fun I alredy have fine teams not perfict but they work for raids
I'm really liking your idea about having a stardust benchmark and your strategy to only power up Pokemon when it's relevant to the current raid boss. It's such a brilliant idea and cost conservative approach. I'm definitely going to use it! Thanks! I currently have 1,185,969 stardust. My goal is to reach 3 million for this event and my benchmark will be 5 million. I better prepare for the stardust grind!
My goal is at least 5mil. Once again Billy comes through with the best tips. I try to mention to everyone I know in all my groups to subscribe to The Trainer Club for the best tips. Thanks billy. I hope your channel keeps growing.
A little over 3 million these days. I was about 3.6 before the Team Rocket Pokestops started, but it was time to make sure my top 3 type specific mons were very strong.
I recently powered up a level 7.0 [15, 15, 15] (100%) *Vaporeon.* It ended being relatively cheap on the *Stardust* at 50K (-It was cheap for me because I had over 1M *Stardust.),* but it was expensive on the *Eevee Candy,* using up most of my *Eevee Candy.*
Great (and timely) video, thanks! I would say another strategy for saving stardust would be to not purify all shadow pokemon (only purify the 1K pokemon so you can unlock the badge for the extra ball(s)). Also, if you DO need to powerup a pokemon for pvp or raid, see if you can get a lucky or purified version to save on the dust.
Thanks for the video. I struggle with dust. Love to spend it when I have it. Recently maxed out a Lucky Shiny Ray Ray and Lucky Gardevoir!! It def came in handy for a duo Ray Ray raid with someone who never tried two Manning it.
I have 3 accounts and these are all good tips. My main account has 5.1 million, my best alt has 2.8 million, and my baby account has 1.9 million. After the Yokohama rewards are over, my goals: Main account: 7.5 million First alt: 4.5 million Baby alt: 3.5 million
Yeah I only power up when I absolutely have to, which is why I’m at 2.3M dust (goal is 10M). This is also the reason I have 56 charge TM’s, because I only TM when I absolutely have to. It’s nice being able to have the freedom to max any Pokémon and give them an ideal move set whenever you want. But you’re right the only way to have this freedom is to have good dust management. One of my tips is to just wait, and I don’t mean wait until the Pokémon is relevant (which of course is important), but to wait on the proper catch. What I mean by that is, I very rarely ever power a Pokémon up that I catch that is less than level 25. I see a ton of people powering up high IV Pokémon that are like, level 6, when they could just wait on a better catch that will inevitably happen in the future. Don’t waste your dust unless you’re super down with that low level, high IV Pokémon for whatever reason. I’d rather power up a 90% level 25 (or higher), than a 96% level 8, as long as it’s 15 attack, doing the low level one just isn’t worth it most of the time. The amount of dust you will save by doing this is off the charts.
I've do not have many stardust most of the time. But now I have for most raids 6 or more maxed out teams. I did spend too much for random power-ups for PvP while not participating with any tournaments. Now I have to collect stardust for the upcoming Pokedraft Tournament so maybe now I have to decide what benchmark I want as a reservoir. A great start could be 5 million for me..
I look at all these Stardust hoarding videos and laugh because I'm fine for Stardust based on my needs (hovering around the 250k average, but my own priority system involves me setting an upper limit based on a Pokemon's IVs, their IV%, Lucky status, if they have a top tier C-Day move, stuff like that so I can maximize my limited access to Stardust). But I'm bleeding out over candy. I just can't go out as often as some other people who might be able to hit up a park or a gym before or after work, or when they're doing errands or shopping and catch Pokemon or do raids, maybe beat Team Rocket a few times. Best I do is about once or twice a week (but I'm also not bleeding out over Revives and Potions because I can rarely use them, a minor perk). Typically I have them stopped at the Lv30 mark, as I don't see any worth powering them up past that when the dust needed could get about 2 or 3 power ups into another Pokemon and work it towards 30 as well (30+ I tend to save for Luckies or if they're about 85% or higher if they've got maxed Attack IVs and 13/14/15 IVs in Stamina/HP, capped at Lv35. 35+ I'd save for Luck 100's once I get one). I'm so strapped for candy that I've walked my Giratina-Origin for about 186km, or about 9 candy's worth of distance (well, it was also 98% lucky so I just had to flex it).
I'm proud to say I've got 65k. That gives me enough to make a special trade and still boost a Lucky Groudon up a notch or two. Maxing out a high IV would be wonderful but there's always going to be something more powerful coming out next month or a new attack that will make my favorite Blastoise obsolete, or the next round of legendary bosses will be immune to ice and my Mamo gets put back in the freezer. I'm a casual player, I haven't topped lvl 40 but luckily I am part of a great community of players who run raids together so I don't need fully powered beasts when taking down Rayquaza. I will take full advantage of the upcoming Stardust bonuses but will probably end up spreading the love around equally rather than maxing out one or two.
I Know you asked like a year ago, but I have just 19 000 Stardust. I do a lot of trading and powering up to keep up with the yellow people in this town, because they are way more powerfull then me. ...I started 2 weeks ago and this Charizard really saves me at times *cough* my friend's Dragonite *cough*
@@sambeaumont395 why, the difference between 96 and 100 is so small that u dony even notice it in battle, its non existent. Meanwhile lucky safes u a lot of stardust
Larry Bird - Yes the difference may be minuscule but there is a difference. At the end of the day I am not transferring that 100, so may as well make it as powerful as possible. If it was a 98 (not 100), then sure I would power up the 96, saving the dust. This all assumes that the Pokémon is question is meta relevant, if not then I wouldn’t power up at all.
Absolutely, hate ppl who think its a big deal to have many Stardust and bragging about it but not powering any raid counters. This is Pokémon Go, not Stardust Go
I actually met a dude who had over 3 mil dust and NONE of his mons were powered up - he literally told me he didn’t need to because other raiders would carry him. That ticked me off so much. I’m always low on dust because I power up teams for raids and battles
I'm at 1 million dust right now, but I should be much higher. I've been doing A LOT of unregistered, shiny trades with my wife(6 shiny), her brother (2 shiny) and her mom(3 shiny). We are all lv4 friends, so it's ok. The current 25% off trading, has been great to me. I wanted to get as many of those shinys over to them ASAP, to maximize the discount for myself and them especially. They have much less of a reservoir. Normally, it would have cost me 440,000 dust to trade all those. What it actually cost me was 330,000 dust. So I saved 110,000 dust comparatively. Not too shabby in the long run TBH! It's definitely about having fun and having people to share the fun with.
Good advice here. Thankfully watching your videos over the past few weeks have helped me already with this in essence but I never came across this one in particular.
As a F2P, I usually power up everyone at level 30 for being strong for almost every raid, then, I will try to get 1 million and max 1 Pokémon each month max
Im at 700k dust but also have counters for majority of raids. My psychic team and fire teams need work since Im into 89+ Iv's but im great everywhere else. I also dont power up any Pokemon past level 35 because after that gets too expensive. No goal for stardust event, just going to grind!
Me, my wife, my daughter and son all have less than a million stardust combined. We only raid with us 4 so we have to make sure to power up what's relevant. Right now all of us have 3 mamoswines that's 12 mamos in every raymundo raid. I don't have any stardust but damn is it fun to watch my kids get hype for raids when we do it with just us.
This opened my eyes on my use of stardust. I wish I didn't invest in my Mamoswine right now, as I am not in a situation where I can raid Rayquaza,, even if I wanted to.
I’m at 440k dust, just powered up my glaceon to 25. I try to stay above 400k, so I have dust to trade if needed and power up when needed. My goal is to try and hit my first 1mill
finally hit 1 million stardust. recent stardust events have helped. Plus I've been only powering up pokemon need for the current raid bosses. pvp I just loose.
50k right now, I once tried collecting a lot of dust, I reached 200k+. But then, I caught my first ever Tyranitar from a raid and it had 96% IVs. So I had this sudden urge to power it up and I fell into that trap and spent everything because after that I wanted to power up my Lugia & Salamance too. I'm gonna set 1M as my goal right now, then I'll increase the goal a million every time.
I don't know how much stardust I have and don't have my phone on me at the moment (sacrilege, I know), but current goal is 500k by the end of December's community days.

Not enough I keep accidentally learning 2nd moves :(
I Know you asked like a year ago, but I have just 19 000 Stardust. I do a lot of trading and powering up to keep up with the yellow people in this town, because they are way more powerfull then me. ...I started 2 weeks ago and this Charizard really saves me at times *cough* my friend's Dragonite *cough*
Currently at 1.5M. I'm level 38 and still dont have a maxed up pokemon.
Donnie Darko coi
Same
Donnie Darko that’s okay. Level 35 is plenty sufficient
Thank you for keeping us updated with tips n tricks....thanks😁😁
Julian Escobedo you’re super welcome!
So, should I max out a 96% lucky or a hundo pokemon?
Lucky
L Chn which Pokémon and is it relevant to use for battling now for raids?
The 100.
Just hit 500k stardust today. Happy. Need to get to 5 million hopefully by the end of next year.
Movie Lover love it. You can do it. Okay hard this next week. You could get 5 m in a week
Only have 60k Stardust😔need ti save once again up to 1 Million
ArdiVloggt you can do it. In a week for this next event
I always wondered what professors Oak would look like in real life. Now we know...🤷♂️
1.23M spent 30K SD for a shiny swablu yesterday with no regrets ✨💛✨😍
tonee zaide love it. Thats solid
Congrats on the subs, just noticed today that it had jumped a lot
Francis Reid Jr thanks!! Been working on it 😎😎💪🏼
What's the point of saving millions of stardust while you can help the community by powering up raid counters?
Michiel De Neve that’s the key you have both
Absolutely, hate ppl who think its a big deal to have many Stardust and bragging about it but not powering any raid counters. This is Pokémon Go, not Stardust Go
That was literally the point of this video....don’t waste dust on Pokémon that aren’t relevant to the active raid
1.8 Million, but just spent about 400k on an Army of Mamoswine, To duo RayRay.
Im at 1.6 million stardust rgn
And I wanna be at 10 mill
I actually met a dude who had over 3 mil dust and NONE of his mons were powered up - he literally told me he didn’t need to because other raiders would carry him. That ticked me off so much. I’m always low on dust because I power up teams for raids and battles
I have _finally_ have 1M Stardust!
Must be nice

*===== **_11 Months Later_** =====*
I now actually have 2M since July.
Change stardust to money, pokemon to goods and services, cup to life events, reservoir to rainy day fund and you have solid money management advice.
i only have like 560k stardust
Mc Albert culaban we’re going to raise you up. What do you want to be at?
Lmao 112k 😂
I really like your vids man everything is really detailed 🎉
1,200 used on lucky mamoswines goal 3-4mil
ElChurroDurro get it. Love the specificity
Just Blew 100k On a Perfect Purifed Dratini. Currently At 264k. 😩
Not A Savage oh man!!! We’re gonna get you up
Not A Savage that’s really not blowing it tho for a perfect iv Dragonite when it’s all said and done tho. So great job!!
Amber Farwell true but im pretty sure its stuck with a normal type moveset
@@mattspencer187 you can tm return
RickTrajan damn i didn’t know, i would say that this stardust was not wasted then
Good advice here. Thankfully watching your videos over the past few weeks have helped me already with this in essence but I never came across this one in particular.
481 Million
Nope just 481
TerraPlayz2004 😂🤣😂 love this. Too funny
Awesome video and good info!! Keep up the excellent work!!!
Yoshi X thanks a lot Yoshi!
Every time i get the “Power up Pokemon 5 times” field research, i get lost on who should i power up 😂
A lvl 1 caterpie.
Shawn SYKW hah I love it. Have one guy who’s relevant for you use for the raids
I just delete that task 😂
i power up the 5 cheapest ones
yeah i just do 10 cps because it costs 200 dust
As a F2P, I usually power up everyone at level 30 for being strong for almost every raid, then, I will try to get 1 million and max 1 Pokémon each month max
54 🤣🤣😂😂😅😅😄😄😀😣😣😭😭😭
Benchmark over 90,000,000
Omsai Kokankar oh yeaahhhhhh
Im at 700k dust but also have counters for majority of raids. My psychic team and fire teams need work since Im into 89+ Iv's but im great everywhere else. I also dont power up any Pokemon past level 35 because after that gets too expensive. No goal for stardust event, just going to grind!
I'm broke asf, it's not even funny.😂😂
Johnny Xiong you’re going to get it higher
does this guy literally reply to everyone? these are the people we need in the youtube community.
Dragging out these videos. Nobody has time for 10+ minutes of useless stories/information. Just get to the vital stuff and stop repeating yourself.
Shut up m8
Me, my wife, my daughter and son all have less than a million stardust combined. We only raid with us 4 so we have to make sure to power up what's relevant. Right now all of us have 3 mamoswines that's 12 mamos in every raymundo raid. I don't have any stardust but damn is it fun to watch my kids get hype for raids when we do it with just us.
#TRIVIA
Which one should I power up?
*Vaporeon*
LVL 23.0
[13, 12, 06] (69%, 2*)
*Butterfree*
LVL 20.0
[11, 14, 14] (87%, 3*)
Have a quarter of million less stardust when compared to your vid, but I am going to save and only spend them on relevant counters with powerful stat.
mcpy2000 love it. Way to go
great advice!! thank you! I wish this video had been available before I powered up my 100% Dewgong!!
This opened my eyes on my use of stardust. I wish I didn't invest in my Mamoswine right now, as I am not in a situation where I can raid Rayquaza,, even if I wanted to.
I’m at 793k, aiming to get past 1 million to use some stardust to power up some luckies.
Thank you for this video, does some help as always!
This is still useful in 2020, and the coincidence is that Rayquaza is back for Dragon Week August 2020 :D Mamoswine, & Glaceon FTW
Yeah i powerd up my earlier favourite Pokemons and they are rest in peace now.
I’m at 440k dust, just powered up my glaceon to 25. I try to stay above 400k, so I have dust to trade if needed and power up when needed. My goal is to try and hit my first 1mill
Miss Rosie Dovah love it. You will do it with my tips for the stardust week
finally hit 1 million stardust. recent stardust events have helped. Plus I've been only powering up pokemon need for the current raid bosses. pvp I just loose.
What a great analogy! I love me a good analogy man
Jeremy Huertas I know right I was like this one is good
50k right now, I once tried collecting a lot of dust, I reached 200k+.
Could you do a video on all the pokemon we need to save for the december CD in details? Also what site are you using to compare the moves?
yes i have. Check out this video below. And go hub is a great resource
ua-cam.com/video/o5-3j1ey6gs/v-deo.html
It’s towards the end
Top wild caught raid Pokémon Larvitar, Rhydon, Gible, Beldum, Sneasel, Deino, Litwick, Swinub, Dratini, Bagon, Drilbur, and Mudkip
I don't know how much stardust I have and don't have my phone on me at the moment (sacrilege, I know), but current goal is 500k by the end of December's community days.
