They work really well for me. I also had the De Pretto Moto forward controls in my rebel 500. As a tall rider, it's the difference between comfortable and cramped although it is a different position to get used to 😊
I hope you didn't mind me quoting you Foodgeek. I'm impressed with those forward controls they look really made and I'd never heard of that brand before. I thought there'd be others out there who'd like to try forwards on the Rebel 1100 so I thought I'd share your feedback.
@@BikesILike No, no problem at all :) They are exceptionally well made and really look the part. You wouldn't know it's not an OEM part. I rode about 17000 km on my 500 with them, and they were still as good as new :)

@@Foodgeek could I see a pick with you on the bike with regular and forward controls? I'm a new rider and heavily considering the 1100 or the 500, but worried about height given that I'm 6'4"
@@Foodgeek @Foodgeek did the forward controls change the lean angle at all? Really considering pulling the trigger on the 1100 but the lean angle is important to me but as I’m 6”1 the mid controls feel a little cramped

Very useful images. So many posts cover installation but neglect to show a profile image of the rider on the bike after the install and if they do rarely if there mention if the riders size. Thanks!
I installed a set of T-Rex Racing forwards on my Rebel and they have helped a lot with my Arthritis. (Love my Rebel)

I just checked them out! The T-Rex racing forwards are really cool. I love the range of adjustment built into the controls and they appear to sit a little lower than the De Pretto Moto forwards. I might have to make a video on these too.

What's important about these forward controls, they go UNDER the casing, pull your legs in about 100mm(4")...I would purchase them for that reason alone! (Expensive though).

Yes, they are expensive, but they look a lot more reliable than the controles from T-rex.
For the 5'3 and 5'6 images, the forward controls are in front of the stock controls, but for the others, it is reversed. Is that just a typo. I am assuming forward controls are the ones farther forward. I'm hoping it is just a typo

With then only being 14 cm (5 1/2 inch) forward it's nothing crazy, but just enough for me to not feel cramped 😊
No worries John! Horses for courses for me. Some bikes I'd like forwards on, some I prefer mids and some I'd even prefer rearsets.

Been looking at these for awhile. Just brought the bike home last night after waiting 6 months for it to come in. Definitely takes some getting used to compared to how forward the controls were on my previous bike. I think I’m gonna have to pick a set of these up in the near future.
As a tall guy, forwards helped, but switching to an ADV was the better solution for me. I didn't like being able to touch my elbows to my legs.

From your images, the forward controls seem to suit the stance of the Rebel 1100 better. But I’m a confirmed cruiser-aholic, and forward controls are my preference.

Having the seat 3 or 4 inches further back would also be a big help. I have a Honda NC750X DCT and I'm thinking of trading it in for a rebel 1100 DCT, I'm 6 Foot 270lbs with a 34 inch inseam so having the seat a few inches further back would help.
I had NC750X manual and now I bought Rebel 1100T manual. Well.. Bike is great I love it but I have to replace original seats with new ones and I am thinking of forward controls a rise handle bars because I have a back pain and hip pain 😔 I hope something will solve it. I am cca 178 cm tall.

just got my 2023 1100T DCT "BAGGER" in 1/3/23
was on a 2008 HD NITE TRAIN . this 1100 DCT ? can GET UP N GO!!! I just have to learn to adopt to the twitchiness of the throttle . I moved to WA state FREEZING AND WET!!!!
so this forward controls should fit 2023 right?

Wow, It does not look that comfortable for the 6'4 rider :( Im 6'6 I think this would be pretty terrible, shame since I really like the specs on this cruiser. A classic Harley with forward controls however is something completely different I fits me really good but they are so heavy :(
Just sold my 2008 C90 Boulevard Suzuki for same reason, got too heavy for me so bought a 2023 CMX1100 and loving it, not sure about spending $1400 NZ on forward controls.

Since the Rebel 1100 can have DCT I looked at it...I just dont think my back could take the posture re the bars position.

They are pricey as hell but from what I've heard they are really good. TRex Racing makes a set for the manual too...but they are out of stock

I just purchased this for my 1100...any feedback on it's installation or things to know ahead of time?
If you're asking me personally, no I've had no experience with the install of these controls. I made the video to let people know they were available.
The price is kind of high (Reference: S-0950 - 699,60€ tax included) but the product looks top quality.

@@justdad53 I agree. The quickest bike I ever owned was my BMW K1300 S. It would blast it's way to 100 kph in first gear (0 - 100 kph in 2.8 secs) and that bike had 170 HP.

Tried one bike with feet forward, never again, it's not a natural way to ride a bike
