Reason they look similar because they are in the same family. Their short four fingered arms and short head are characteristics of abelasaurids, their family.

It is a wide spread misconception that Carnotaurus was able to do head ramming attacks on its prey and mating rivals. It’s upper cranium would easily be damaged under high pressure due to its slightly fragile nature, making head ramming very harmful to the Carnotaurus itself. It most likely would instead put it’s head against a mating rival’s head, leading to then pushing each other until either decided to back off.
The Carnotaurus was not agile. It had a very stiff tail which made turning and maneuvering while running very difficult. Ceratosaurus was more agile. The carno didn't ram either as its skull couldn't handle that level of stress. It probably just slowly pushed heads with rivals. It's horns were useless! I'd say Ceratosaurus dentisulcatus would defeat a Carno. It had larger teeth, actually useful arms, agility, and bite on its side. It was also bulkier and more muscular than a Carno. The only advantages Carno had were speed and a slight size advantage.
Most definitely incorrect, while it is bigger it still falls short of the weight of a carno, and studies have shown that carno was one of the most muscular dinosaurs ever relative to its size. Carno was heavier, smarter, had better Vision, tougher skin and immense speed. Ceratosaurus loses.

King Cobalt, think again. Do you know how slow Therizinosaurus is? It is basically a dino tortoise. The only good thing about the Therizinosaurus is that it has really long claws, and 6 of them (3 on each hand).
I think it would be the other way around . . . Carnotaurus although larger and faster than the smaller ceratosaurs, carnotaurus couldn’t open its mouth very wide because of its bulldog shape skull and like a cheetah when it was chasing its prey it could not turn when the prey changed direction. Kaiju Slayer333 ceratos armour would’t help it much, and carno is bigger, heavier and faster and cerato was beat by pretty much all the over large predators it lived with
Kaiju Slayer333 carno kinda is a bit bigger, it’s at least a ton heavier and two meters longer. Also even if it didn’t directly compete with the bigger predators they could still take its kills without much opposition.
James Athersmith Well it’s likely due to the legs and tail. The Ceratosaurus could benefit from pouncing on larger animals. And... the Carno did actually have less experience. It didn’t really have much rivals and hunted smaller animals. Ceratosaurus had many rivals, and could hunt dangerous prey like Stegos and even Sauropods
Kaiju Slayer333 firstly I don’t think cerato could even jump, it was still pretty heavy. Also I doubt it would be an experienced fighter when it comes to larger enemy as it would run from them as if stayed and fought it would get killed and where’s your evidence it hunted such large dangerous prey when it was better designed for smaller prey. Also not only is carnotaurus bigger in pretty much every way it would also be the aggressor in this situation as a cerato isn’t attacking another predator that is significantly bigger then it.
Go to the video storybots Velociraptor song velociraptors were the most powerful raptors and it was more agile but utahraptor was bigger larger and heavier but it wouldn't stand a chance to a raptor velociraptor was less the size of utahraptor and little long of utahraptor. And also faster

The only way carno can win is if the carno ambushes the cerato from far away because running is what carno was specialized in.
This narrator is full of $#!T! This fight was determined by size, weight, and strength, but whenever a "T - Rex" fights a larger, heavier, stronger dinosaur ie: Giganotosaurus or Spinosaurus these same characteristics mean "nothing"! Poster stop with the fanboy vids already. - Doccubus Zi!!!
Doccubus Zi theres litaraly no stronger therapod tyen trex. Not to be unrealistic but trex was the bulkiest therapod that lived. And it had the most/strongest muscles. So thats not treu. And i would say this fight would be atleast a 60% carnotaurus 40% ceratosaurus. But 50% 50% would make the most scence
No, Spinosaurus was. If you mean Tyrannosaurus, then you're right. But Mega Top Tens, Tyrannosaurus isn't THAT powerful. It would mainly depend on the first bite for Giganotosaurus vs Tyrannosaurus. I would think at maximum 70% for the Tyrannosaurus, and around 75% for Tyrannosaurus if it fought against the Spinosaurus. But Triceratops would win against the Tyrannosaurus around 70% of the time. The tyrant lizard king can still be defeated.
RAITHEHOTDOG well triceratopsbwas just a beast that yoi couldnt take down without a risk. Bjt trex evolved in a way that it would have been able to succeed. Try putting a giganatosaurus or carcharadontosaurus or spinosaurus against the triceratops i geranty tgey would all fail 90% of the time especially against the ankylosaurus
If ceratosaurus was able to jump on to the the side of carnotaurus and not let go the fight would almost certainly be over. This is because if ceratosaurus was clinging on to the larger dinosaur he would most likely push carno over. If carno fell over he couldnt get up again and cerato could easily kill him then ofcourse. The horns of cera could be used for ripping and making flesh wounds. No matter what this is a super close fight and there is no way that any would win as much as 70% of the times. Carno would win but only 60% of the times.
FUN FACT Ceratosaurus actually dosent have a horn but rather a frill. Carnotaurus may had feathees on the arms using them to attract mates and to confuse rivals.
How many times ffs, carnotaurus’s neck would not be able to support it if it head butted, the horns were for show and they used the long neck they had for reach to make up for its stumpy arms, look at a Bull’s skull, which is robust af, then look at carnotaurous’s head, with no extra padding to absorb the blows, it didn’t use its horns like a Bull
Mega Top Tens, please do Daspletosaurus torosus vs. Allosaurus fragilis. They were both around the same size, with D. torosus being slightly larger, with a length of around 30 feet and a weight of around 3 metric tons. A. fragilis was around 28 feet long and weighed around 2 metric tons. Allosaurus was still more agile, though. Please do a battle with these two, I want to see what your verdict would be.

Carno would most likely win i can say more but i don’t care
One disadvantage for carnotaurus would be it could not turn as fast as the ceratosaurus due to the body mainly being used for running and not turning
This would only be the case for running, it wouldn’t have much problem turning while standing still or walking.
Yes carnotaurus wins!!!
I know this is not a dinosaur fight. But could you please do. Smilodon vs Dire wolves? And Woolly mammoth vs cave bear?
Depends on how many dire wolves.
- Doccubus Zi!!!
spino fisher
I would say weight over size, whether they have functional arms, and bite force
This is UA-cam, so dinos that don't get to fight in real life can fight here.
I don't really see ceratosaurus as a good swimmer but acording to sciences it is
If ceratosaurus was able to jump on to the the side of carnotaurus and not let go the fight would almost certainly be over.
If it did latch on to the sides, carnos legs are very powerful and would kick it off.
How about caratosaurus vs indoraptor please
The saltwater crocodile had the strongest bite force of any living tetrapod.
Quetzalcoatlus vs. Hatzegopteryx!
FUN FACT
Ceratosaurus actually dosent have a horn but rather a frill.
Carnotaurus may had feathees on the arms using them to attract mates and to confuse rivals.
No...
Carnotaurus is pretty smart for it is one of the last dinosaurs
Pentaceratops vs. Tyrannosaurus!
I do like carnotaurus more but honestly I think ceratosaurs would win this one
Omg The Isle at the end!! :D
THE CERATOSAURUS IS MY FAVORITE DINOSAUR. OBVIOUSLY THE CERATOSAURUS WIN!!!
Next dinosaur battel is. Stegosaurs vs. T rex
Ceratosaurus -
Height - 1.8 M(6 ft) tall
Leangth - 4 M(13 ft) long
Weight - 800 kg(1,760 lbs)
Carnotaurus -
Height - 3 M(9.84 ft) tall
Leangth - 6 M(19.7 ft) leangth
Weight - 2 tons(4,400 lbs)
Carnotaurus não chegaria até 2 toneladas
2 toneladas e o peso de um allosaurus
Perhaps,Allosaurus vs suchosaurus would be nice video
Btw carnotaurus horns weren’t for head butting, they were for showing off to get mates, carnotaurus skull cannot handle impact like that
Kinda
@@Nothing-ru4ft it’s been proven, doesn’t change the fact that carnotaurus wins though
@@slipperydoorknob9950 you are right just try head butting a lego dino with a lego carno it doesn’t go well for his head😂😆🤣
@@slipperydoorknob9950ik they used the horns for head pushes not rams
@@Nothing-ru4ft Why are you replying so much
I’ve never seen a Ceratosaurus swim.
Carno is not agile as its tail is very stiff.
It is agile, it just has trouble turning while running.
Carnotaurus had the fastest running speed of large theropods.
Carnotaurus height 3.3 metres length 10 metres weight 2tons speed 56 kg
The Jurassic park version of the ceratosaurus kinda looks like a Trex but smaller, bigger arms and a horn on its head
Please make Indoraptor vs Albertosaurus and Utahraptor vs Indoraptor.
I have a list 1.ceratosaurus vs t rex 2.carnotaurus ingen vs i rex
Carcharodontosaurus vs. Giganotosaurus!
Charchadontosaurus vs trex.
Ceratosaurus height 3 metres length 9 metres weight 1tons speed 21 kg
Totally carnotaurus 80% of time
Carnotauraus also had destructive kicks!
Tyrannnosaurus Rex vs ankylosaurus please, tough battle cause of short arms!
ALIORAMUS VS. PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS!
Doesn't Allosaurus fragilis weigh up to 2.3 tons?
I said AROUND. Tell me what specimen weighs that much.
I laughed when he said Carnotaurus was four meters tall considering t rex was four meters tall
T rex is 5.5
