My husband and I are also dealing with rough finances so much that we can't afford to buy normal stuff like - bread milk and tissue. I got rid of my debt before i got retrenched but he's getting deeper and deeper in because he's covering what i used to pay for. We are now downscaling
The banks should allow you to decrease your credit card balance on your online bank portfolio, they allow you to easily increase your limit but they don’t allow you to decrease it.
Very early in life i made a decision to never go into debt. the only people i owe are the local fruit vendors. Anything i cannot afford to buy cash, i dont need. And yes. including those things we consider big.
