Support for Windows Live Movie Maker ended in 2017. Some of the features have merged into Windows Photos, but it isn't as good and can't handle audio quite the same way.
Thank you very much! Very helpful!
I really appreciate your valuable information. thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice, David. Thank you!
You're welcome, Jit.
Happy to help.
Thank you for this video. I have a few problems.
1. The version of Windows Movie Maker is different from you, so there interface is different from yours. The version of mine is MM26. For example, I didn't know how to import a picutre, an audio, though I managed to find the function finally. In the future, it would be more helpful if you tell the version of software you use.
2. And I don't know how make the file to become a movie. When I randomly chose, it failed.
3. English is not my native language. My listening is not quite good, though I basically understand what you are talking about . I wish in the future you can add auto caption to your video.
Anyway, thank you very much.
How can I add multiple photos into the audio.
Thanks
You're welcome.

I believe you can still use Windows Movie Maker.
You'll need to ensure that you set your video to 'fit to music' from the project tab.
Here's an updated video.

Hi Ramakrishna,
Have you tried using Windows Photos? Windows Movie Maker was discontinued I think in Windows 8 and 10.
Try Windows Photos which I think is the equivalent of Windows Movie Maker.
Thanks.

Hallo David, thank you so much for your instruction. It helped me alot to transcribe my audio data. I would like to ask something. After I copy paste the text from youtube, I am still having difficulties to format the text into MsWord. I would like to know on how to make automatic corrected format of the text, because the text tooks alot of space and I don't have time to manually edit the space between the sentence. Maybe you could give me an info on how to arrange and format the text properly after we copy paste the transcribed text from UA-cam into MsWord. Thank you.
Hi Lila, Thanks for checking out my video and for your input. Highly appreciated.
I am happy that you got some help from my content.
Here's what I would recommend.
Download and Install a software called Subtitle Edit. In the panel titled Source View - paste your Text from UA-cam.
Next, click on file and navigate to the bottom of the drop-down and select Export then to Plain Text.
Once the Export To Plain Text window opens, select Merge Line and this will give you a single block of text.
All you have to do is now export and append relevant paragraphs to your text.
Kindly let me know if this is clear. If it is not, I can do a quick video for that.
You can watch this video on How to Edit Subtitles and to be specific from around the 4th minute.

Thanks!
I wondered the same thing a few minutes ago. I found a solution, which is to 1. click “edit” then “replace”
2. make sure you’re in the “find what” field
3. click “more” then “special”
4. select “paragraph mark” (top of the list)
5. click into the “replace with” field
6. press the space bar once
7. click “replace all”
8. click “ok” then close the “find & replace” box.
Thank u brother ..i am looking for this ..
You're most welcome.
Thank you!
You're Welcome, Fabuloso.
Thanks -- that helped a lot. I was previously trying to use Windows Photos to do this, but the resulting mp4 file had poor sound quality. The Windows Movie Maker creates a wmv file that gives me the same good sound quality that I had with the original wav file.
Glad it helped!
Movie maker no longer exists, I miss it
I miss it too.
The Windows 10 Photo App is the alternative but I don't like it at all.
@@David_Mbugua i completely understand all I have is windows 1p photos and when i go to export music i write the audio is a bit choppy and not as clear, so what people hear on my youtube channel "lostkaos" doesnt have the same sound quality
it does not work in windows 10
please help
now no more is available
no longer available for download no longer relevant
Unfortunately, this is only available if you use Windows 7.
I believe the equivalent for this is Windows Photos on Windows 8 and 10.
Thanks.
Thanks a lot!
You're welcome! Adorllys.
Happy to share. :-)
I couldn't do it, when I clicked save. It asked me for a registration code. I just have a free trial of movie maker.
Very useful anyway.
oops no longer available =(
I believe you can use Windows Photos if you're on Windows 10 to do this.
Thanks.
Thank you Brother
You're welcome, Jafer.

Hi Young Rebel, this software is in-built on Windows 7.
I believe if you're on Windows 10 you can use Windows photos.
Thanks.

You can use the Photos App in Windows 10.
Thanks.
