- Fokker F-27 Friendship aircraft at London Southend Airport in the mid-1990s.
Featured aircraft: N515AW of NEPC Airlines, passing through on it's journey from the USA to India; G-BNIZ of Channel Express delivering car parts, and G-CEXB, working for Parcel Force.
VHS-C recording with linear mono sound.
Love the scream of the Dart....It sounded like a proper turbine engine
They sound as if they mean business rather than the piston engined types which sound is if they are about to fall apart.
Thanks Robin. Another good one. Never get bored with watching your series of potted activities at Southend.
Good to see some nice footage of Gary in front of the Channex F27 😎
With his red painted ford tractor.Should be blue.?
I can’t believe my eyes. Most people haven’t even heard of this airline and there are very few photos of NEPC. I actually flew their F27 back in 1996! Amazing to think they by-passed Southend. Incredible footage, thank you!!
I was literally over the moon to see a new SEN video from you. Thank you!
such a steep descends. . .
Nice memories from more interesting times, well done.
Thank you for your work mate, loved this airport since I could remember.
Great video
this type of planes service a shorter route in Malaysia under the Malaysian Airline System during the 70s toward early 90s, which is capable of carrying 54 passenger at one time
Great filming and editing as ever Robin.Did you ever catch the "stealth" BAF F27 G-FEAD in Fedex livery? She would have been a rare catch at SEN as she day stopped at Edi.
Fokker 50 or not?
Not.!
