    Any restaurant that you can recommend for someone with nut allergy please.

    • @tropikaclub
      @tropikaclub  Рік тому

      Thanks for your query! We know that dining out with a nut allergy can be tricky, especially when it comes to dim sum. But don't worry, we're here to help!
      Here are a few dim sum restaurants in Singapore that we recommend for people with nut allergies:
      Grand Palace Restaurant is a popular spot for dim sum, and they have a dedicated nut-free menu.
      Whole Earth is a vegetarian restaurant that is completely nut-free. They have a wide variety of dim sum dishes to choose from, including spring rolls, dumplings, and noodle dishes.
      Hope this helps!

    How can tim ho wan be so high

    • @tropikaclub
      @tropikaclub  Рік тому

      The question of how Tim Ho Wan can be so high is a valid one. After all, the restaurant is known for its affordable dim sum, yet it has been awarded a Michelin star. So what gives?
      Well, the answer lies in the quality of the food. Tim Ho Wan's dim sum is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it is cooked with care and attention to detail. The result is dishes that are both delicious and affordable.
      Of course, there is also the factor of hype. Tim Ho Wan is a popular restaurant, and its Michelin star has only added to its popularity. This means that there is often a long wait to get a table, which can drive up the price of the food.

    The original Mongkok Tim Ho Wan is already closed. The landlord decided to triple the rent after a 2 year lease. So Mr Mak, the owner of Tim Ho Wan, showed his middle finger to the landlord.

    126 in Sims Avenue has changed owners,already! All are frozen dim-sum,not freshly made anymore! That's why you have the 'fishy' smell on prawn dumplings (虾饺) etc, nowadays! I wonder how 126 ended up in your top 10? Have you done any in-depth research and taste-testing,recently? That's why nowadays everyone flocked to Swee Choon for fresh and affordable dim-sum!

      Thank you for your feedback about 126 in Sims Avenue. We appreciate your insights and will take them into account when updating our rankings.
      We understand that the restaurant has changed ownership recently, and we apologize if the quality of the food has declined as a result. We have not conducted any in-depth research or taste-testing since the change in ownership, so we cannot comment on the current quality of the food.
      We are glad to hear that you enjoy Swee Choon for fresh and affordable dim sum. We will definitely check it out and see if it deserves a spot on our top 10 list.
      In the meantime, we would like to invite you to come back to Tropika Club Magazine and let us know your thoughts on our rankings. We value your feedback and always strive to provide our readers with the best possible information.

    Don't b so mean lah! It's not so bad actually. I could well catch what is narrated without looking at the subtitles. A little monotonous, typical of most Singaporean, but I would say it's far from Singlish! Jia you!
