Not the "welcome to my crib" 💀🤣 we are still working on our gen 2 intro video 🤣 nicely done! Definitely agree on the mattress though, we had to put a secondary mattress on ours too
I thought I was going to be able to clear some low hanging branches but didn’t. Plus they were beefer than I thought. On a related note, when I first bought this tent (got it second hand) it also already had a patched up hole that was allegedly from shipping mishandling. Thanks for watching!!
It’s definitely on the lower end of the RTT price range so definitely a good place to start! The other thing is they seem to sell pretty quick second hand if you do want to try it out and upgrade later. It took me about a week or two to sell mine (only sold because I’m upgrading to the new carbon fiber version)
Not really. I think the safest bet is to hop into your vehicle and wait for the lightning storm to pass. Lightning is some gnarly stuff. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! It’s in Washington State! The mountain in the background is Rainier though I’m really hoping I get to check out Colorado this year! Thanks for watching!
Oh man, sorry about your tent. I have not contacted them though I may now out of curiosity. The patch done on this by the previous owner and the patch I did held up really well. I used a 3M Leather and Vinyl Repair kit I found at Walmart. www.walmart.com/ip/19864141
I’ve had it in rain but never out in a good downpour. There are drain holes to let water out but I could see the possibility of them getting overwhelmed in a strong storm. I believe the made the drain holes bigger in the v2 version too so it’s definitely an issue. Thanks for watching!
It not actually an issue. The water can't get inside the tent. And you've posted this in two different videos on this tent. Do you actually have the IO tent?
I’m using a GoRhino SRM 500 65in with the roll bar mounting kit. I got a full review on it here if you want more information ua-cam.com/video/dvbIZraV15w/v-deo.htmlsi=fYXFZ7HnpMMUAiUs

Glad you liked that part 😂 Can’t wait to watch it when it’s ready!! Thanks for watching!
Looks like a cheaply made tent.
Nice job on the video. How did you get a hole in the cover?

Great review, just ordered for a trip out west.
That’s awesome!! Let me know what you think of it! Safe travels!
What a great overview. I am not into RTT's but I want this one 😅

Thanks for the vid. Great info on the RTT. What 270 bat wing awning are you running. Have you did a vid on that?
Thanks for watching! It’s the OVS Nomadic 270 LTE. Here’s my review on it! ua-cam.com/video/XjskF6SwSFo/v-deo.htmlsi=f3AZfYaaBhVnc-V1
do you have any ideas about "grounding" your tent as in a lighting storm?
Not really. I think the safest bet is to hop into your vehicle and wait for the lightning storm to pass. Lightning is some gnarly stuff. Thanks for watching!
Bro I have made 4” thick in wich you can 1inch things. Just watch out my RTT 2.0
Is that camp location in Colorado? Amazing view

What awning is that you have? It’s sweet! Never seen one that small that goes all the way around
I’m rocking the OVS 270LTE. Here’s a more indepth review I did on it ua-cam.com/video/XjskF6SwSFo/v-deo.htmlsi=p8182GJkfGaYo1xc
Nice review. Have you reached out to IO about possible ways to repair the hole? I got my IO rtt hung up in a parking structure.

What camp site is this??? Awesome view!
Found it by chance on the northern side of Mt Rainier just outside the National Park Boundary. Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thanks for watching!!
Bad design. Side canvas wall panels do not extend over bottom lip. Rain water runs down and into tent soaking mattress pad. What were they thinking?

What kind roof rack do you have?

Does it come with mosquito netting?
It does! Has some mesh netting and then the outermost layer is rain proof
You need xxl bro
Honestly though, I wish that was a thing!
