Garbage disposals, yes, some houses have them in the U.S. The garbage disposal in the sims simulates The type of disposal that crushes garbage so you could fit more into one bag. The one that you could injure your hand in is like a blender blade in your sink drain. That 1 is meant to chop up foods that fall into the sink, so your pipes don't get clogged.
And those sink blender blades don't even really work. They break the second anything bigger than a rice grain falls in. I don't know why so many houses here have them lol
Did the sims 3 have garbage disposals? Or trash compactors? I didn't play that one, but lots of American homes have a garbage disposal (it grinds up food that goes down the kitchen sink) some have a trash compacter which smashes trash to make it smaller
@kater9982 I'm pretty sure they had trash compactors! Cause I remember being like "who has this?" But then putting it in every house, whereas a sink garbage disposal I would have known (and would also be weird as a separate object in sims)
This is making me realize I should really do a I'm Surrounded By Idiots challenge in Sims 4! They were really popular with Sims 2 but fell out of fashion with Sims 3 because the Sims aren't especially stupid, but clearly 4 brought back the dumbass energy.
Omg, I am an American and I grew up thinking trash compactors were the height of luxury because no one I ever met had one, but all my rich sims did. I’m 30 and have seen one. It was from the 90’s and was awful. Lol
It's crazy seeing Rod Humble in 5:52. Now he's leading the team to make a new Life Simulation game Life by You, but around 15-20 years ago, he was leading the Sims team to create Sims 2 instead. I mean honestly what a life that man has lived.
I just saw a guy who leaves all the sims games on for 30 days straight and it's been a fun experiment. I think Sims 3 is the smartest based on his videos, but we'll see with this one.
Sims 4 are the smartest because they play with us when some sims are asleep and one uses the toilet, and when they go to sleep another gets up. It's an endless cycle and they know what they are doing. They are evil
The zodiac sign personality slider is a very interesting mechanic that i haven’t seen before, it is a little confusing for me as a cancer to see that apparently i am the sims equivalent to being as middle of the road as physically possible, especially when cancer tends to get characterized (from what ive seen) as “the one zodiac sign that cries all the time and is emotional and also sometimes a mom friend”
12:18 what your talking about is a garbage disposal. It’s basically used for a fast clean way of removing food waist. It basically allows the food to be slashed into small enough pieces so the scraps don’t end up in a landfill. And you can really hurt yourself if part of you ended up in it you will have a human smoothie of sorts. Hope this helps ❤️
Technically the scraps (after getting to the water treatment facility) probably still end up in landfill or require more water treatment. If they’re bigger than the screens then they’ll get scraped off and either burned or sent to a landfill. If they’re smaller than the filter/screen holes, then they’ll be treated like any other biological wastes 💩 But you’re definitely right about the possibility of shredding a human hand 🫣 the few times a spoon got into our disposal reaaaally mangled the poor utensil.
@@Plumbellano the garbage disposal is in the drain of your sink so it makes the food mushed/shredded small enough so it can go down the drain without clogging it.
@@Plumbella the thing you're thinking of from the sims 3 is just a fancier trash can, as far as I know. Don't you have to "take out the trash" with those in TS3 too? I've never lived in a house with one, but a childhood friend of mine did. It might just be for keeping the garbage smell contained, or maybe it compacted garbage to fit more in one bag. Hopefully someone who had one of these growing up will say something about it.
Usually they are turned on by a light switch near the sink. Sink works normally when it's not on. When it's on it sounds like a trash compactor. And sound awful if a fork or spoon is left down there.
I feel like I have to micromanage my sims in TS4 or they’ll be out of whack/weird schedules as demonstrated by this video and switching to the TS2 was like a huge mental relief. Not perfect but functional at the very least
Ohh yeah. It’s probably the main reason I never mess with families very long, I remember my school-aged sims would need to be micromanaged so they could get their homework done in time to sleep, do their journals (self-imposed rule) before bed, wake up in time to eat, pee, and maybe lounge time to get their pitiful Fun needs up, and get to school on time… often times I only achieved it with one or two of them, sometimes I play with _three_ school-aged kids.
I think in the sims 2 the sims get better at taking care of their needs as you play the household/train their AI basically, that might be why you remember them being more self sufficient!
I have been dying for some lp content from jessie, of older sims games. So thrilled. Look at those cute animations in the sims 2. The sims 4 would never.
Not every home has a in-sink food disposal, but yes they exist lol. They're to prevent the pipes from getting clogged up, you're not meant to actually dump your plate down them. As for damaging your hand, yes for the older ones. I think the new ones have safety features like sensors and guards.
This gave me a really interesting view on how I play the sims, because when you were playing 2-3 I felt really relaxed and amused and was enjoying watching how the sims would react. But the SECOND the sims 4 came on i just felt STRESSED, and I didn't even realize how stressed playing the sims 4 makes me feel until i saw all of that chaos! Literally why I use cheats in the sims 4, because it's just so chaotic to have everyone in a bad mood all the time that it become un-fun, and what's the point of playing an un-fun game!!
On autonomy, some of my sims (Sims 4, randomized sims, I just let them do their own thing and watched them ykyk) REFUSED to sleep, only drank coffee, and when the coffee machine broke... They still didn't go to sleep, they NAPPED in the hot tub all the time and kept passing out... Like, days later is when they regained their brain cells and kinda started sleeping and stuff.
Yepppp, there's a reason why I don't use Sims 4 autonomy unless there are uncontrolled sims in a "control only one sim in a household" challenge (like a grow-up challenge). Autonomy in Sims 4 is broken and useless, in fact not only will they cancel your queue if you are actively playing an autonomy-on family, but they will cancel/forget their own actions, especially cooking food or eating the food they just made regardless of possibly being about to starve to death. Autonomy stays off in my proper family playthroughs, period.
Without MCCC, the random push up and drinking themselves to the toilet would kill all enjoyment for me. RIP to console players who can't turn off the annoying autonomy.
@@youyeedyourlasthaw More so that you have to turn autonomy off completely. With MCCC, you can turn off certain actions like brewing coffee or push ups.
As others have stated, you're talking about a trash compacter. They are not at all common, but were more so in the '60's & '70's. My grandfather had one in his kitchen. I think he chose to install one because he lived in a very rural area, where there was no trash pickup, so he had to take his garbage to the landfill himself, and it reduced the frequency of visits, as well as the volume of trash he had to haul. In that instance, it made sense. I don't think I've seen one since. I remember loving the sound it made in TS2 when it scrunched the garbage. And I loved not having the less than beautiful bin to place. TS4 really needs a few more attractive bins!
lol Sims 4 has issues but I think the recently added Fears were causing all of the havoc, honestly. Without them it might've been better (fear of fire causes further fires ugh.) Also, I don't think the parents could share the same bed; it's the same issue in Sims 4 where adult Sims need a strong romantic relationship before they'll do that but apparently any age could share it to nap there in spite of that, so who ever started sleeping in the double bed first got priority. Plus, Sims 4 Sims will prioritize a nap during the day and supposedly go to sleep properly after dark (which I find annoying but supposedly that's why. I've not tested this to confirm it myself.) I don't think Sims 4 is incredibly intelligent but I think unfortunately the parameters and the way the developers have tried to shift things so bad moodlets are more common is what took them down. It used to be harder and people complained it was too easy/boring, which is why the frightened moodlet and then the fears were added in again.
Sims 4 logic...Wow look at the dinning room table and chairs right next to the kitchen...Let my go all across the house up stairs to eat my salad on the toddler bed.
I love how EA advertised the sims 4 with "smarter sims" but they're clearly not that smart, at least not autonomy wise. The only thing they're smarter about is multitasking and that you can put objects a bit closer and they still can use them.
I feel like it was a little unfairly stacked against Sims 4 since their emotions change so fast plus the fears mess with a lot of normal behavior (looking at you "fear of fire") On another note the thing in sims 3 is an in-counter bin that compacts the trash (think Wall-E) that isn't common in houses as opposed to a garbage disposal which is something that's built in the sink.
@12:14 Some people have those drain disposal things but I rarely ever see them. Never had one myself, just the standard trash and wash the dishes by hand.
a garbage disposal (or food disposal as you say) is basically a chopping machine inside the sink. you don’t normally purposely put food in it, but if you do put food down the drain you can turn it on so it chops up the food and makes it go down the pipes easier and doesn’t clog the drain
I had to remove all music devices from a home in one of my sims 4 games because ALL they would do is turn it on and dance. No matter what the circumstance was. Hungry? Dance. Gotta pee? Dance. Tired? Sorry, dance. They were ignoring all their actual interests to dance instead. I wouldn't be surprised if sims that hated dancing were also dancing, it was that bad.
I think it's sims 2. I'm guessing before I watch. Sims 2 sims are so responsive and they decline certain actions based on their mood. Watching this is so nostalgic.
Sims 4 Sims really take more naps in an average day than I do on vacation. Seriously why don't they just go to sleep like a regular person? The silliness of these Sims.
3:14 - Me on a Monday morning, deciding what to wear to work after ignoring the Mount Everest sized pile of laundry just to play the sims... "Its doesn't have to be fashionable... It's just gotta work." 💀😭
I really wish I could play the sims 3 because it looks so fun but every time I try I just get overstimulated because there's so much happening at once especially with bigger families. And I've been spoiled by the phenomenal build mode of the sims 4
Oh my gosh. What a wild thrill ride. Like a rollercoaster made out of life's ultimate failures. You've inspired me to want to play the Sims 1 again but I lost my CD copy of the Complete Collection. I still have the Sims 2 ultimate collection at least. But I want to marathon the whole series, going as far as I can with each one. I laughed, I cried, I freaked out. Your videos always do that to me. I always end up laughing at something. Sims players have to be the most chaotic people in the world.
12:17 So food disposal, if it’s what i’m assuming your talking about, it’s in the sink right? In my house, the sink has two divided areas, one just has a normal drain, and the other has a drain that looks normal, but inside there’s a bunch of blades. When you’re rinsing plates off in the sink that still have a decent amount of food on them, you rinse it off on the side with the disposal blade drain, so that if the food clogs it up, you can turn the food disposal switch on and the spinning blades will cut up the food so that it can get washed down.
You definitely could hurt yourself if you try to stick your hand down there, ESPECIALLY while it’s on, but typically if you drop something in there and you want to get it out, you’ll have to either unscrew the pipes under the sink and get it that way, or you’ll need to hire a plumber to do it. My family has a general rule to not put silverware in the food disposal side of the sink because if it went down the drain it’d be a hassle to sort it out/ the next person to turn on the disposal might get a very loud metal-y and dangerous surprise, but other than that it’s really not that high of a day-to-day risk
“In the sims 4 they just cook a meal when they’re slightly hungry” I have to fight mine to cook, they love ignoring eating to deal with other issues… although given how with every random EA update they suddenly become super flammable (even level 10 cooking with best cooker available) until the next one I’m not sure I entirely blame them 😅
Garbage disposals are such a weird thing that are so common here in the US, they chop up food scraps so they can go down the pipes of the sink. They are dangerous for human hands & also most plumbers I’ve met suggest against using them because they often lead to clogged pipes if you throw a lot of food down them.
@@grot4966 yeah it goes into the water pipes, you don't throw other trash down it just food scraps. the way i was taught about them was they're for food getting washed off dishes or cut near/in the sink to go down but some people do throw fruit & veggie scraps down them on purpose
for your garbage disposal question: we use them (at least in my house) for wet and squishy foods only! if i didnt finish a bowl of ramen or cereal, i’d scoop it in there and help the disposal grind it up with some water. otherwise we dump everything in the trash and drain it first if there’s fluid lol
It'd be a really fun idea to do something like this, but its to see how LONG the sims can care for themselves with as little direct involvement as possible. You could go until the first sim dies, or until they all do. My guess would be Sims 3, Sims 2, Sims 4, Sims 1, from longest to survive to the shortest.
I am so glad you're a Dandelion/Jaskier girly! Nothing against Geralt, but it's chaotic bard supremacy all the way for me. the garbage compost is not an average thing in the us some people have it but at least in my experience, it's not a thing everyone or most people have. most houses now have a garbage disposal but that's just i tiny blender in the sink drain to cut up bits of food so they dont clog the drain
i literally use a food disposal at work. they’ve always scared me bc they actually can AND will take and off 😭 it’s kinda crazy to me that y’all dont have any over there
Sims 4 My sim's hunger down a little bit: *eat* Sims 3 (i mostly create sims and make houses) Sims 2 Actually do something useful like interacting with each other and developing skills Sims 1 Develop skills etc
I think what I discovered from this video is that I like that Sims 2 and 4 need my involvement as a player and are more chaotic by default. If Sims are too smart, it kind of renders the whole point of the game pointless unless you’re a storyteller because the core part of the original Sims was you were the decider whether your Sims failed or succeeded. So instead in 3, I’m just sitting there jumping from activity to activity without really being challenged, and Sims by default will just succeed with little input.
They are called garbage disposals where I'm from. And honestly they're terrifying. I am so happy that I don't have one in my house. Because when I did, I was always afraid I was going to drop something down it and it would just start going and take my hand with it.😮 thanks for that anxiety flashback
idk if anyone told you about garbage disposal, but it's basically so if you have bits of food in the sink, you can rinse it down the drain and flip a switch and something in the drain chops up whatever you rinsed down. There are some things you can't put down there like egg shells, but it's nice to not have to scrape food in the trash from every dish if it isn't too much for the sink and is too little or something for leftovers. You would hurt yourself if you put your hand in while it is on.
Garbage disposals are a thing! It goes in the sink and you can turn it on. It’s spinning blades (I think) that break up any food that goes down your sink. If you don’t put your hand in it while it’s on your good, but if it’s on yeah you’ll lose some fingers
Sims 2 was a lot smarter than I thought they were But sims 3 sims are so smart! I really miss playing with them 😭 I once did your extreme challenge and one of my teens got a boyfriend in that week of me playing and I didn't tell her to do it. I was so pleasantly surprised that could happen!
Garbage disposals and garbage cans, are different things lol, Disposals are usually part of the drain in your sink, and there’ll be a switch nearby, considering it’s a ton of blades that spin aggressively to cut up bits of food so they can be put down the drain, I’d say it could definitely hurt your hands xp
Wow, I knew Sims 4 was the worst. I played nothing but Sims 2 for 5 years straight and nothing but Sims 3 for 5 years straight. Only started playing Sims 4 when Toddlers came out because there was nothing to do in the base game prior. You can really tell the difference in how stupid the Sims in Sims 4 are. Didn’t expect it to be by so much tho. But I cannot play that game more than 5 days straight because I get so tired of constant micromanaging because Sims in Sims 4 don’t do nothing by themselves.
On the topic of garbage disposals: it's literally a blender in your sink! Convenient, but you can't put things like carrots down it, or it'll clog. You can absolutely injurie your hand if you stick it into the disposal while it's turned on! But just like a blender, you can reach in and touch the blades when it's turned off without hurting yourself. It's cobtrolled by a light switch on the wall!
Your Sims 4 was so chaotic! I love it lol. I can't remember the last time there was a fire in my game. Can we try this again with the Sims 1? Also, can we do a version where we pick traits that are supposed to help? Like neat and handy? Could be fun, I just want to see more chaos lol.
i knew sims 3 would have the smartest sims i have a household with 12 sims (including some pets) and they manage to take care of themselves and other household duties autonomously when i’m not focusing on them. like they will cook dinner, feed pets, take care of the babies and everyone will be fine. only thing is the bills lol
I really hope Sims 5 is gonna make the Sims a lot smarter, like sleeping at night, maybe depending on their traits and habits at different times? Habit being if you keep your Sim awake dueing the night for multiple nights they will keep doing that unless you change that again yourself. Also Sims eating the appropriate food depending on time of day? I don't know complicated that would be to make but it would certainly make the game feel a lot more realistic.
we do have garbage disposals in our sinks in America - basically it's like a blender blade in the drain of the sink that will chop up all the food waste and make it able to go down the drain. and yeah it's super dangerous to put your hand down it, but you have a specific switch in the kitchen to turn it on so it's not always on when the tap is.
If u do a sims bingo (fun idea btw)I feel like your kid bringing a friend home from school is something that could occupy a space. It happens fairly frenquently but also could just never pop up.
In home trash compactors are not a normal thing in America lol that's a super bougie rich person thing. I've literally never interacted with one in my 30 years of living
in regards to garbage disposals: more modern homes have them. instead of having a food catch in the sink there's like spinning blades under the sink that you turn on with a switch. it's much nicer for someone with sensory issues since you don't have to touch wet food but I always had an irrational fear that I'd cut my hand off.

@kater9982 I'm pretty sure they had trash compactors! Cause I remember being like "who has this?" But then putting it in every house, whereas a sink garbage disposal I would have known (and would also be weird as a separate object in sims)
@solar4389 my aunt has one, and I thought it was the coolest thing as a kid.
I miss having bios for individual sims.
That just made me realize the sims 4 only has family bios!!
This is making me realize I should really do a I'm Surrounded By Idiots challenge in Sims 4! They were really popular with Sims 2 but fell out of fashion with Sims 3 because the Sims aren't especially stupid, but clearly 4 brought back the dumbass energy.
Thank you for your scientific analysis. The difference between full autonomy and none in the S4 is negligible.
Yeah it's Tytar. The ending for TS2 was amazing and terrifying 😂
I refreshed and this popped up perfect timing because I have been feeling sad all day
Same, feel better soon!
Same❤️ Feel better friend
I hope you find some happiness ❤
Thank you all so much! You're very sweet!
Man is impossible to be sad when watching your videos. You have this energy and passion for the sims, lifts my spirits everytime
If they’re smaller than the filter/screen holes, then they’ll be treated like any other biological wastes 💩
But you’re definitely right about the possibility of shredding a human hand 🫣 the few times a spoon got into our disposal reaaaally mangled the poor utensil.
OMG might be a silly question but do they go in a big bag that’s connected or?? i’ve never seen one irl lmfaoo
Not the cat head popping up out of nowhere 😂 13:40
i love how when all put side by side in the thumbnail, the sims 2 sims are by far the cutest
@@crowqueenampsyou can turn it off on ps4
@@youyeedyourlasthaw
More so that you have to turn autonomy off completely. With MCCC, you can turn off certain actions like brewing coffee or push ups.
@@crowqueenampsyess I turned off autonomous video gaming and my game is so much better lol
I've not tested this to confirm it myself.)
I don't think Sims 4 is incredibly intelligent but I think unfortunately the parameters and the way the developers have tried to shift things so bad moodlets are more common is what took them down. It used to be harder and people complained it was too easy/boring, which is why the frightened moodlet and then the fears were added in again.
It took me too long to realise Jessy was saying "dirty home" and not... "Dirty w*ore" 😅
I am surprised I'll be honest 😅
0:11 uh oh. Uh oh. Bestie I might just be a sim. This neurodivergence really blurs the line between us two.
I haven't seen the video yet, but my guess is The Sims 3 🤔 The autonomy is unmatched there
I mean, sims 2 sims certainly feel the most alive to me, having my sim throw a bit of their food to their cat absolutely made my day
I feel like it was a little unfairly stacked against Sims 4 since their emotions change so fast plus the fears mess with a lot of normal behavior (looking at you "fear of fire")
On another note the thing in sims 3 is an in-counter bin that compacts the trash (think Wall-E) that isn't common in houses as opposed to a garbage disposal which is something that's built in the sink.
I would agree except for the fact Sims in 2 would often leave cooking items on the stove and then the house would burn down
I would say both sims 2 and 3, but I still check just in case
Jessie is so pretty with no makeup ❤
Agree. Natural gorgeousness.
It's just gotta work." 💀😭
13:39 The cat 🤣🤣
They said, "Hello?"
“In the sims 4 they just cook a meal when they’re slightly hungry”
I have to fight mine to cook, they love ignoring eating to deal with other issues… although given how with every random EA update they suddenly become super flammable (even level 10 cooking with best cooker available) until the next one I’m not sure I entirely blame them 😅
The way the sims 4 makes me rage 😂 my sim keeps laying their infant down for bed but immediately turning around and picking them back uo
LOL wasn’t the sims 4 marketed as “your sims are now smart!” 😮
Your cat at 13:40 was like umm yes you called ?
Garbage disposals are such a weird thing that are so common here in the US, they chop up food scraps so they can go down the pipes of the sink. They are dangerous for human hands & also most plumbers I’ve met suggest against using them because they often lead to clogged pipes if you throw a lot of food down them.
My ex wo lived in Canada didn't have one and we had to just...dump unfinished food IN THE TOILET and FLUSH IT.
It was so freaking weird
@@kaydwessie296why didn't they just... Put it in the bin????
What.. Does the garbage go into the water pipes?? AND FLUSHING FOOD WASTE? what the hell
@@grot4966 yeah it goes into the water pipes, you don't throw other trash down it just food scraps. the way i was taught about them was they're for food getting washed off dishes or cut near/in the sink to go down but some people do throw fruit & veggie scraps down them on purpose
I LOVE your experiment style videos, they’re always my fave!!
for your garbage disposal question: we use them (at least in my house) for wet and squishy foods only! if i didnt finish a bowl of ramen or cereal, i’d scoop it in there and help the disposal grind it up with some water. otherwise we dump everything in the trash and drain it first if there’s fluid lol
We need more videos like this where you do your makeup babes
I swear that literally everyone is watching Zoe’s Vlogust and I’m living for it
It'd be a really fun idea to do something like this, but its to see how LONG the sims can care for themselves with as little direct involvement as possible. You could go until the first sim dies, or until they all do.
My guess would be Sims 3, Sims 2, Sims 4, Sims 1, from longest to survive to the shortest.
You being confused over a garbage disposal is giving me life because I didn’t know they weren’t a thing elsewhere!!!! Lol
Both parents going to work is a problem in the Sims 2 if it's outside of the school schedule, because they can't leave the kids home alone.
I am so glad you're a Dandelion/Jaskier girly! Nothing against Geralt, but it's chaotic bard supremacy all the way for me. Every version and every medium
(also some of Netflix actor's songs are a bop. Those who haven't should check out The Amazing Devil, especially if you liked Burn Butcher Burn or Wh*reson Prison Blues in the show)
I AM OBSESSEDDDDD WITH THE AMAZING DEVIL
I find myself saying out loud a lot how smart the sims 3 sims actually are.
This made me realize that I would love to watch Plumbella do a makeup tutorial! Just how she does her personal makeup, because she's always so pretty
I play Sims1. My sim died in 5 minutes in a house fire from rubbing the genie lamp.
That is my record unintentional sim kill.
the garbage compost is not an average thing in the us some people have it but at least in my experience, it's not a thing everyone or most people have. most houses now have a garbage disposal but that's just i tiny blender in the sink drain to cut up bits of food so they dont clog the drain
We love you, Jess!! always my go to after work
Even though we didn't get to see TS1 gameplay, I just love everything that was happening in that part xD
I'm American and I've never seen a trash compactor in my life. Everyone has garbage bins aka trash cans.
Remember when Sims used to run to the bathroom when their meter got low. Now they walk like no one has ever walked in an emergency.
i literally use a food disposal at work. they’ve always scared me bc they actually can AND will take and off 😭 it’s kinda crazy to me that y’all dont have any over there
Jessie I love this type of sims experiment
Sims 4
My sim's hunger down a little bit: *eat*
Sims 3 (i mostly create sims and make houses)
Sims 2
Actually do something useful like interacting with each other and developing skills
Sims 1
Develop skills etc
Even without make-up you are absolutely beautiful!
her face is beautiful, no "even withouts" needed !
I have not watched yet, but it's sims 2. I spent 14 years in this game, i know. The best one part of the series.
They are called garbage disposals where I'm from. And honestly they're terrifying. I am so happy that I don't have one in my house. Because when I did, I was always afraid I was going to drop something down it and it would just start going and take my hand with it.😮 thanks for that anxiety flashback
1, 2, 3 and 5 killed me entirely 💀💀
4 realized what's gonna happen to them and managed to escape 😂
Not me saying Geralt at the same time as her at 1:01 lmao
idk if anyone told you about garbage disposal, but it's basically so if you have bits of food in the sink, you can rinse it down the drain and flip a switch and something in the drain chops up whatever you rinsed down.
Love the witcher Era for you Plum fr fr
Sims 2 was a lot smarter than I thought they were
But sims 3 sims are so smart! I really miss playing with them 😭
I once did your extreme challenge and one of my teens got a boyfriend in that week of me playing and I didn't tell her to do it. I was so pleasantly surprised that could happen!
Garbage disposals and garbage cans, are different things lol,
Disposals are usually part of the drain in your sink, and there’ll be a switch nearby, considering it’s a ton of blades that spin aggressively to cut up bits of food so they can be put down the drain, I’d say it could definitely hurt your hands xp
It happens fairly frenquently but also could just never pop up.
i love the loser trait makes me so nostalgic
In home trash compactors are not a normal thing in America lol that's a super bougie rich person thing. I've literally never interacted with one in my 30 years of living
Same 32 and I've seen 1.
in regards to garbage disposals: more modern homes have them. instead of having a food catch in the sink there's like spinning blades under the sink that you turn on with a switch. it's much nicer for someone with sensory issues since you don't have to touch wet food but I always had an irrational fear that I'd cut my hand off.
I'd love more of these kind of experimental videos!! It was interesting.
