Really want this bag. It’s so cute! I do wish it had feet and a back pocket too though. The tipping over is more I think because it’s not structured and the weight and position of items in the bag. I have a Chanel business affinity that has feet and a back pocket but occasionally it will tip over depending on what I put where in the bag. Hope you’re still loving the bag! I really wanna get this soon and is in my wishlist.
Absolutely in love with this bag. It should be more popular because the shape is so beautiful. I think it is more beautiful than other bags with similar prices at LV.
I had mine for about a year and a half and I never had any lifting! I think it’s less likely with this bag bc you are opening it from the clasp and aren’t pulling on the flaps as much. But I can’t say it’s not possible. I recommend checking resell websites to see how some have aged that are on the preloved market! I like to do that to get a feel for how bags wear over time :)

It is definitely lighter-weight! I think that’s why when empty it falls to the front bc the hardware is on the front. It’s not totally weightless with no items in it but I don’t find it at all heavy or even medium weight in my opinion

Thanks for the video. Very helpful! I just got it and love it but one thing is bothering me, ie. The clasp seems very easy to open..like sometimes while walking, even with the touch of my thumb, the the lock just opens. Is it that sensitive? Or this is how it should be?
I sold this bag a bit ago to fund another purchase but I never had an issue with the clasp and don’t recall it feeling overly easy to get into. It wasn’t difficult or anything, very smooth but I never worried about the security especially when walking. I suggest taking it into LV and explaining concerns or before bringing it up to them, go in at some point to look at another one and see how the clasp feels in case LV tries to tell you it’s normal. I definitely don’t think that sounds normal!
Has anyone else experienced the strap edges to start getting sticky?????? Mine has stickiness edges on the strap which seems to be coming out from the inner middle of the stitches on strap. It’s kinda weird and frustrating cause it gets on my clothes on shoulder area 😢

I will say it basically was the max width it could be to still fit in the croisette
I ended up selling mine! I wanted to get something different so sold this to fund a YSL, I believe I did take a slight loss but it wasn’t so drastic that it kept me from selling it.

The SA sent me some pics and in one side picture of the bag down at the base where they cinch it with a stitch..I can see the stitch clearly. Is that normal? Are the stitches visible? I think it depends how visible. Due to the nature of the folds, I think you’ll see it a bit (tbh I only ever saw this bag in person like one time and didn’t inspect it until I got mine, so I’m not sure how multiple different ones looked). I have actually sold this bag (love the style just wanted something different!) so I don’t have mine to look at /: I think if it concerns you, maybe wait for another or if the SA is nice enough and they have another, maybe they can send you a comparison photo.

I am planning to buy my first LV bag and I am considering this Croisette bag because of the style and it's a crossbody! I really want to have a monogram on my first purchase so I was also considering Metis because of the pattern. I also want to get On The Go because of the design as well but since it doesn't have a zipper, couldn't get it. What would be your suggestion for me to get on my first LV bag? Thank you.
All great bag choices! I personally don’t own on the go or Pochette Métis but do still have some suggestions! First and foremost, I’d decide do you want cross body function or shoulder - if you decide cross body I’d eliminate on the go. Second - what are considered your daily essentials/non-negotiable items to carry around? If you have a lot of essentials, I’d sway toward Pochette Métis only bc it seems that bag can hold a ton! The Croisette is definitely more limited in space. It’s obviously not a tiny bag, but it’s not huge either. I’d say it leans closer to small whereas Pochette Métis I’d say leans on the medium side. In the videos I’ve seen of the PM, it holds way more than the Croisette for sure. Hope this helps!!
They are both similar in what they can hold but if I could only choose 1, I’d say Marmont. Just bc it’s a little easier to use and goes with everything!
That fact is a bummer! I’m 5’2” and felt it fit me fine but it definitely wasn’t high up on my body lol. You could always change the strap since it’s removeable but I’m not one to do that myself so could totally understand if you didn’t want to do that either!

@@pinkpeach2397 I believe it was 2021 they stopped doing date codes and now it’s a microchip. You can get a NPC (I think that’s what it’s called) app to scan the bag to find the chip. Not sure what detail it shows! I haven’t gotten a new bag from LV since the change.

If you put your phone inside back pocket, the bag will not tip over. These days anything you have in your agenda, you can have on your phone. The only negative is no feet. Since the bag will wipe clean, not a huge issue.
I personally don’t own the Alma and I also do not find that bag appealing, so if I were choosing between the two I’d go Croisette but the alma is extremely popular. I think it depends on what style you’re going for!

If this had a outside back pocket, it would be the best bag of all time. Hands down beats the PM if u like something for the price point too
