Finished EDF6 at the end of 2022, went back when the story dlcs dropped. It's an absolute blast from start to end. I hope they will share the server between the Japanese version and the worldwide release so I can play with the newbies

To be honest when i first got the helldivers 2 and saw helldivers 1, i realized that the illuminates were absent. It immediately made me theorize that the illuminates would come back, and hard. It could also tie into another theory i made of some threat, whether automaton, terminid, or illuminate, will launch a final assault and take Super Earth and Mars.
I wouldnt count on Illuminate being released. If they are having a ton of problem with current nerfs/patrol/bugs adding it would just create more problem
CryDivers go play difficulty 5 if it is so difficult for you to play It's not the devs' fault that they are bad at high difficulties or that they still don't learn how to use the right stratagems on missions and carry the right weapons. Here’s what’ll happen: - Major order will come telling us to deploy dark fluid into the crust if one specific planet - After so much time, instead of liberating the planet, I theorize a sort of live event will occur in-game in which we get to watch a planet get black-holed - Detecting Helldivers as a threat to the galaxy with this new planet destroying tech, the Illuminate will begin an assault against Super Earth and the Helldivers, attacking from the bottom of the map - Helldivers will be able to use Dark Fluid tech to attack enemies such as Black Hole Grenades, quantum laser rifles, etc. Major orders will start ordering the destruction of entire planets rather than certain species.
Technically, Super-Earth has FTL travel and communication, which would be a massive help in the setting of War hammer, not to mention the propaganda brainwashing their citizens more than the Imperium's wet dreams, Chaos would have a hard time corrupting them, but they're still pretty significantly weak in comparison to every other factions in War hammer.
Perhaps the dark fluid is for generating wormhole to illuminate's dimension? Now that we are using it, the illuminate will come to and check for who the hell are tossing trash and stuff to their space.
You might be on to something. The Illuminate from what I know were a at least passive people before The Frist Galatic War. What if their creation of the Dark Fluid and it's non-zero percent chance of ending the Galaxy is what made them that way in the first place ? Look up the helldivers 2 opening cinematic on youtube, it plays every time you start the game and does a really good job of explaining the game's premise quickly and in a fun and cool way. Otherwise play or watch the in game tutorial to get the hang of things.
I think it's kinda funny how the NPC's acted and yapped all about as if dark fluid was *designed* to be a weapon, but in actuality it was the fuel for the Illuminate's FTL drives, and should've been the fuel for ours too. But NOOOOOOOO, humanity had to go with a fossil fuel instead...

How hard it is to take the code from three weeks ago and put it back in the game? At this point I'm starting to think it's intended to be this way and all that "we are sorry, it's bugged" was just gaslighting.
The patch that drops next week will be a big telling point for a lot of players. A lot of things are promised to be in there... - Spear fix - Patrol spawn fix - Erupter fix! - various balance tweaks I personally don't think it will be as extensive as an entire balance pass over all weapons, but it will at least - or should hopefully - show they are moving in the right direction now. Guess we'll know in 7 days.

@@memelord8611 Strategems CARRY everything in this game, most weapons are pea shooters, especially the ARs, and when ever the community finds a weapon that is viable and not a pea shooter, they nerf it INTO THE GROUND. Even the devs are agreeing, so not really a cope.
